We booked the hotel via Internet. We have seen the fotos of the palace with its indoor 19th century swimming pool and thought it would be a great stay. We arrived early in the morning after a horrible bus night from Pushkar and in the hotel, they didn't have a booking on our name. So we had to make many...

Lallgarh Palace is one of the wonderful Heritage Hotels in India, and it really feels like staying in a Palace, specially with the knowledge that the Maharanis still live in one of the wings. The service was very relaxed and could be a little more attentive but our room was wonderful, huge with very high ceilings and masterful volume. It...

What a great place for a hotel, within Lalgarh Palace. We had a huge room. But the experience was impacted by poor restaurant food. Everything was a buffet and cold with the heating systems on the warming dishes not being used. The restaurant was cramped for the number of guests; we noted the next door hotel served food in the...

The hotel is really wonderful. When you arriveyou can't believe you'll stay really in a place like this. Rooms are simply enchanting like the garden. The thing to improve is the telephone service because it's not fair to stay in a place that seems paradise but where during monsoon you have no internet and no line for calls. If you...

This is a Maharaja's Castle where his Excellency resides in another part of the building. The place oozes with the charme of an era gone by and guests are treated with courteousy and attention to detail. The park like setting compliments the spectacular setting created for royalty, a pleasure to visit

One night here in room #147 in the Mountbatten Wing on the night of the 10th March. The Hotel is certainly a Palace, some of the rooms were has big as an apartment and comfortable. It is a magnificent looking place, but, our room was a water bag and camel job distance from the front and the power interruptions were...

We stayed in a room which was former prince's room. Fantastic! Massive bedroom with period furniture and a very nice bathroom. The place has a lot of history and sadly the dining room seemed bit of a let down. Meals were average. Wi-fi was a nominal 50 rupees but we were not charged as we could not use it in...

Beautiful room. Clean spacious and well appointed- and the bathroom was ultra modern even though the palace itself is so old. Great food. Calm and serene surrounding with a Beautiful pool . The massage was a bit of a let down.Internet only in the reception area which was annoying
