Detailed Reviews
Fort villa was incredibly warm and inviting for my stay in Jaisalmer. Beautiful interior and very comfortable room. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed in India! The owner and manager, Manish is very sweet and accommodating and helped to point me in the right direction with sightseeing and local eateries. I was traveling alone and felt incredibly safe here. I would highly recommend this hotel as a perfect place to escape the noise and busyness of the city.

Most impotranrtly- the hotel owners, who gave us the best hospitality experience that somebody can possibly give. They treat you as a true family member and make you feel at home. We told them we were looking for a restaurant to celebrate our Saturday eve, and they imediately offered to organize a romantic feast on the beautiful rooftop of the hotel, with almost no charge.
Moreover, the hotel is spotless (the guests walk barefoot inside the hotel to feel at home, and we felt comfortable with that because of how clean the hotel is). The design and decoration of the hotel and the rooms are beautiful, and this itself is a unique experience to see. The shower is big and spotless. Great value for money.
To conclude- an unforgetable stay and hospitality, one of the best nights of our trip!!!

There aren't many opportunities to stay in a hotel inside an 850 year old fort with amenities like air-conditioning, clean rooms and toilets. Fort Villa provides exactly that, along with great service and hospitality. The rooms were well appointed and kept meticulously clean. In fact, prior to entering the reception, one must deposit one's shoes and move barefoot inside the hotel. Also be prepared to walk through the narrow lanes of the fort, savouring its colour and aroma, for a quarter of a kilometre to reach the hotel. The narrow lanes can only be navigated by walking or on two-wheelers. Fort Villa has a nicely curated terrace that provides a lovely all round view of the city and the fort. The staff are extraordinarily helpful and courteous. Overall, we had a great 3 night's stay and would strongly recommend the property to anyone who would like to choose a hotel inside the Jaisalmer Fort.

Fort Villa is what best defines Indian hospitality.
The welcome is warm, you feel at home, and the whole hotel operates on the basis of trust.
Everything flows smoothly, and if you're lucky enough to spend your birthday here, you'll be delighted to blow out the candles on your cake and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere on the hotel rooftop.
A hidden gem in the fortress of Jaisalmer, an experience on the edge of Rajhastan.

Fort Villa is an absolute must for your time in Jaisalmer. Not only are the rooms all stunning, clean, and incredibly well-cared for, but Manish will take such great care of you. He and his team will give you the most incredible and colorful experience here that you could wish for. The location is perfect, being in a corner of the fort away from the hustle and noise but just footsteps away from all of the charming shops and restaurants the fort has to offer. The spacious rooftop boasts a 360 degree unobstructed view of the town and beyond. If you have time to sit and have a cup of tea with Manish and Deepak, I highly recommend it. You will learn something new every time. You will have an authentic and once in a lifetime experience in the desert of Rajasthan. You truly will feel like you’re home.

A gem of a place within the fort itself. A true home away from home. Each room is individual and tasteful decorated with local piece and all the comforts you could need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace all freshly prepared to your request. The terrace is also a great spot to enjoy the sunset

This is a very beautiful property nested at one of the corners of Jaisalmer's famous living fort and the stay here was nothing less than royal. Rooms are very well decorated and spacious, with big attached balconies that offer very scenic views of the city and desert landscape. The walk to the hotel from the fort gate is a wonderful experience as you get a quick tour of the fort and its various idiosyncrasies. Mr. Manish & Mr. Deepak are wonderful hosts who will make you feel completely at home & make it a truly memorable experience. The food was prepared to our liking and the spreads were too much to handle :)
Definitely a stay that I would chrish for a long time and recommend to anyone who wants to feel the Rajasthani royalty first-hand. Beautiful stay & hosts...

An unforgettable experience in one of the most special hotels I have encountered in my life!
I'll start with the most important - the charming owners of the hotel, people who know how to host in an unusual way and make you feel at home. The guest is treated as a family member in the full sense of the word. We have never encountered such a hospitality experience. We told them we were looking for a nice restaurant for Friday dinner and they immediately offered to organize a romantic meal for us on the roof of the hotel for a small fee.
Beyond that, the hotel is spotlessly clean (you walk in it barefoot to feel at home and we felt really comfortable with that because of the exceptional cleanliness of the hotel). The design of the hotel and the rooms is beautiful, the shower is spacious and of course polished.
Outstanding value for money.
In short, an unusual hospitality experience, one of the most successful evenings of our trip!!!

I was in total amazement over the Exquisite beauty of Fort Villa in Jaisalmer. I felt like I was staying in a gorgeous castle. I loved how peaceful it was staying there, and I felt relaxed, and at home. I loved the beautiful rooftop view, the very comfortable bed where I slept great, the cozy living room with lots of pillows and cushions, and the cleanliness of this place. I had an overall great experience at this beautiful villa. I felt very welcomed, accommodated, and I felt very serene staying at this wonderful villa. I am a musician and travel the world and this is by far one of the most incredible, high quality places I have ever stayed. I highly recommend your upcoming stay at this most rare gem of a place. I can’t wait to return for another visit!!

This hotel is truly a cut above any I’ve stayed at in India. The building is beautiful with a truly Boutique feel, carved out of yellow sandstone complemented with soft lighting. We found the room to be really special with hand painted ceilings and an amazing balcony with astonishing position atop the castle battlements. The service was very professional, with advice / recommendations being handed out objectively. Could not recommend more highly.
