From time we stepped foot till time we left Rawalkot our stay there has been nothing but wow wow wow. From their welcoming team to their sending off team (at 5am) were throughly professional, extremely courteous and always with a smile.
They went the extra mile to prepare breakfast bento sets for us during our check-out at 5am. Especially so when we had a 5 hr drive to Jodhpur airport.
The hotel is very very clean. however, few more dustbins would help guests throw their rubbish while they are outside their rooms.
F & B - very delicious food and good spread over breakfast and dinner buffet Staff at the restaurant very polite and attentive. Kudos to them.
If we are ever again in Jaisalmer, Hotel Rawalkot will surely be our preferred choice of stay. We believe they give a good fight to any of the 5* hotels around the area.
Keep up the good work one and all at Hotel Rawalkot. Each and everyone of you made our vacation a superb one.

Pleasant stay. Nice property Opt only if you are having premium budget and planning to travel with personal vehicle. Hotel terrace give lovely view of city. Thing I liked most was the outstanding cosmetic range(soap) kept for bathing and the welcome drink was also rocking provided the amount is very less.

12Jan2020 - A one day stay and wish I could have stayed longer. Friendly happy welcome. beautifully designed property in a quiet desert location. Well maintained and beautiful gardens. Short notice SPA treatment was heavenly. Thanks, I really needed it. Light dinner of choice (not on menu) was prepared and served in room with a smile. Enjoyed the walk in light rain from my room to the Resturant for breakfast next morning. Beautiful views from terrace. Thanks to all the staff at Rawalkot. Keep it up.

Stayed here for 2 nights unfortunately. This hotel is 'tired' and requires upgrades in many ways. Our room was dated with old furniture, the TV was small and old and the refrigerator was empty. In addition while there are designated hours for hot water use the water remained luke warm at best. Wi-Fi was weak and kept dropping out. Breakfast was basic and the choices were very limited. One night (around midnight) a pack of barking dogs woke us up. They were just outside our bedroom window.
All in all this establishment is nowhere close to its rating and our stay was extremely disappointing.

It was our daughters birthday and we thought let’s creat some good memories in Golden City of Thar Desert and selected Hotel Rawalkot after our homework, The reason to select this was reviews posted by other travellers about very friendly Staff Behaviour, great food & personalised service. I would like to give special thank you to Mr.Ashu ji for serving us good and make sure our kids eat well and that to on time and chef Raju Singh ji for preparing dishes as per our demand, he served us tandoor Preparation on last day or our stay and it was outstanding. They did a great sitting arrangement on our daughters birthday at the pool side in the evening.
Everything was just next to perfect here and we enjoyed a lot even my kids don’t want to go back home :( even I feel the same.
The pool location of this property is amazing you can come here early morning in summer and enjoy pool from 8:00 to 10:00 am and evening time you can have a great sun set view while enjoying pool.

Stayed here for 2 nights ie Dec 22 and 23 2020. The hotel is a modern construction but exudes an old world charm thanks to the furniture that is placed in the common areas and rooms. The rooms are large and come with a portable heater and tea coffee kettle. The hotel is blessed to have an extremely devoted staff. Exceptional service from front desk to dining hall ,room service and checkout. They go out of their way to please you. I wanted to taste a Rajasthani dish called Dal Batti Churma. I requested the Maitre and he promised me to serve it at dinner the next day. True to word he did and it was heavy but delicious. The hotel does its bit to encourage local artistes and every evening a family performs a puppet show. This is good but in these Covid times with sparse occupancy they have a sparse audience. Only 2 negatives. First they restrict supply of hot water to twice a day. From 7 am to 10 am and same time in the evening. One can understand the morning timing as most would be out by 10 am but in the evening the supply should be from 5 pm as that’s the time you get back poste siteseeing. I brought this up and was told this was an economy measure since occupancy was low in Covid times . The other negative is they keep the bar shut and don’t serve alcohol. This too should be reviewed as a bar can boost revenue unless the hotel doesn’t have a license to serve alcohol. Overall I had an extremely comfortable and pleasant stay.

The staff is very friendly. They made sure that my chain was smooth and most importantly allowed me to stay for 3 hours extra because my train was in the evening next day. The hotel is close to the station and you can have dinner while enjoying the view of the fort.

Stayed at this hotel in the first week of September on the occasion of my daughter's birthday.starting from check till check out everything was perfect each and everyone was following covid protocol at hotel premises and the best part was hotel is build in sucha way that you won't feel heat of golden City in afternoon and there was a cat in hotel premises and everyday my daughter and son go and play with her.
Food is really very good and pool is also very neat and clean. Staff behaviour is somthing which is USP of this places and this hotel is located just before the city and best place to stay.
