We arrived from Agra by car. We were so happy to leave behind all new tourist developments of very bad taste that are scattered across the street and arrive at a place of tranquility and quality. We were greeted warmly by the staff at the parking and then spent two days in a dreamland. The place is unspoiled and unique....

We had an incredible stay at Khem Villas, situated just outside Ranthambore National Park. The camp is thoughtfully nestled into the landscape just outside the national park border and has a small, boutique and intimate feel (helped by the fact that we were one of only three parties staying at the time). All the food (including bread and dairy products!)...

I have stayed at many places around Ranthambore. Khem Villas was the best integrated into the environment to me. I enjoyed crocodiles outside of the villa, kingfishers and cormorants landing in the common area and a jungle cat visiting me briefly while I was bird watching on the property. Add to that comfortable villas and exceptional service and this is...

We were privileged to enjoy the hospitality of the team at Khem Villas. I use the word "privileged" because we got to be a part of the eco-system that the "First Family" of Ranthambore has painstakingly built over the years. We stayed in the main building, which was very comfortable. We loved the small sit-out which offered nice warmth and...

We went for the wildlife experience, but the highlight for me was the personal care and attention that every single member of staff gave to us. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated like V.I.P.s The resort is beautiful, an extension of the surrounding forest. The place is spotless and there is huge attention to detail, from beds...

A lovely and small place to stay, on the edge of the Ranthambore National Reserve. There are two types of accommodation, rooms within the main building and chalet type dwellings bordering on to a small lake. Each are relatively modest yet comfortable. The food is exclusively vegetarian from produce grown within the grounds. The buffets are delicious and the service...

Khem Villas is a beautiful boutique hotel, situated in the heart of Savai Madhopur. It is the perfect getaway, for city dwellers. The cottages and tents are nestled within the thickly forested groves. Yet they lack none of the luxurious amenities provided by other 5 star hotels. The environment in and around the property helped to soothe our frayed nerves. We...

On arrival you are met by the manager and other staff, given cold towels to freshen up and blessed with a mark to the forehead. We stayed in two of the rooms in the house and were treated as family, with nothing too much bother. Food was plentiful and very tasty, with the chef even making special meals for myself...

The villas are set in open countryside some 5-10 minutes from Sowai Madhopur. We stayed in the main building in a room which was clean and comfortable. The grounds are really nice with ponds and plenty of room to relax. There is also a small pool. The hotel is eco friendly and vegetarian. The food was always of good quality...
