100$ was stolen from our room while ac workers been there. The guest house owner won't take responsibility for that as he was taking the room key from us to let them in. We paid very good money to minerwa while staying there for a few nights and left with bad feelings. Be aware.

They recently opened a new wing in the building which is brand new and clean. The old one is backpackers orientated and it's massively frequented by israelis who can get very noisy specially during the night. The rooftop restaurant it's very nice and food very good value for money.

We arrived in Udaipur late at night and looked at another couple of hostels before Hotel Minerwa which were really lovely but over our budget. This is a get what you pay for stay, the rooms I found to be clean and spacious; we didn't have AC but we had a fan which was sufficient for the time that we...

We stayed there for 2 nights with a friend. We got a non-AC room on the 3rd floor for 700INR/night. The hotel owner is not very helpful and greedy (he will try to convince you to take his rickshaw driver, his guide for the city palace, tickets to a puppet show...). He overcharged us two train tickets (he asked for...

On my third trip to lovely Udaipur I stayed 3 nights in the Hotel Minerwa in the heart of the old city of Udaipur. I had a clean well sized room with a littel lake view, with beautiful paintings on the ceiling and well working AC and fan. Wifi connection was good in every part of the hotel. The stuff...

So far and after staying in 4 different guesthouses in india i have to say that Minerva was the worst. The service of the hotel workers was poor. Every time we asked for something we were ignored and asked to come back later. hot water came and went. We paid extra for wi fi in the room and there was...

Minerwa hotel is not really an hotel, but rather a guest house, they have not changed the status since the time when guests house with more than 5 rooms where denominated hotel, so they held the original name but the true is that it is just a family guest house with children playing around and some old people who peek...

This place is located in the middle of everything, and yet, its peaceful and clean.the rooms are clean and reasonably priced, the rooftop view during sunset is breathtaking. on top of all there is the staff, and specifically Raju the owner. every request, from the restaurant, the reception or the traveling agency was fulfilled with understanding and smile.
