The paint was falling one the bed, water ran into the room while showering and the WIFI never worked. The staff had to keep moving the furniture in the common areas to avoid the leaks. The only redeeming feature was the view and the rooftop cafe. Staff charged extra for WIFI but refused to refund the cost.

Rooms are reasonable here and prices are fair. However they are nothing to get excited about and if power goes out as it often does they can get oppressively hot. Rooftop restaurnt offers decent food but the real star is the stunning view of the Taj Mahal.

We decided to sty here after seeing it in the Lonely Planet. I find that usually when a guesthouse gets into the LP they tend to let their standards slip a little because they are guaranteed business and i thought this was true with Saniya. The rooftop view is absolutely amazing and out of this world, I remember being in...

We stayed at Saniya Palace for what was supposed to be 1 night in Agra. When we checked in we were shown choices of rooms which was nice so we could pick what we wanted. The price was excellent for the value of the room. The rooftop restaurant patio was the seller though. Great food and the most beautiful views...

If you are happy to rough it, or are used to Indian accommodation standards, staying here is worth it just for the restaurant. Our room with fan was small and therefore unbearably hot at night. Decor made you feel a little dizzy, sheets seemed clean but blanket certainly didn't. Under bed looked like it hadn't be cleaned in a while...

Go to a chemist (pharmacy) and buy one of those "plug-in" mosquito insecticide devices for your room for Rs 65 so that you don't have to put your muscle into adding to the myriads of mosquitoes that have been smashed on the walls. The A/C in the room at the roof-top terrace level worked fine. The water pressure for the...

Stayed here about a month ago with a group of friends. when we arrived there were two rooms available for us at a good price 600 for a double. Although the bathrooms were small they were clean as were the bedrooms. The thing that made our stay so good was the view from the roof top restaurant of the taj....

The best part of the hotel is definitely the view of the roof top restaurant. You can see the huge and amazing Taj Mahal while you drink your coffee... the staff in the hotel was always friendly and helpful. The bathroom of the room could be definitely cleaner, but for the price I didn't expect a better room. So it...

Stayed here for one night in the top room of the building - only after they tried to fob us off with a dark and dingy one elsewhere ("by mistake") with no view despite booking it. No Taj view from the room itself but much nicer than the other rooms and next to the roof top restaurant which has an...
