Good sized room and reasonably quiet. Didnt accept credit card for payment. No hot water until the morning when there seemed to be plenty. Otherwise room is clean. Not the easiest to find as you have to walk the entrance. A bit overpriced for what it is, but rooms secure and back off the street gives more protection frm noise.

Got slightly worried when, after midnight, the rickshaw turned into a narrow dark alleyway with no hotel sign in sight - but all was okay, at the end of the dirt track, next to the Star of David, was the entrance to the friendly little Ray of Maya. Room was well equipped: portable heater, tea and coffee making facilities, 24h...

Stayed at the Ray of Maya recently and all in all enjoyed the experience. We wanted a budget hotel as we knew it would only be for a few hours, and we wanted a hotel within spitting distance of the Taj Mahal to enjoy the 'sunrise' experience there. We arrived at 1.00am and had our cases carried by a boy...

We stayed here for two nights in October and were very happy with our stay. The room was clean and a good size and the bathroom was great. We were a short walk away from the Taj and just across the road from the sister hotel where breakfast is served. As others have mentioned, this hotel is down a bit...

My sister and I booked four nights at Ray of Maya for our trip to Agra. There is a bit of confusion as there are two hotels both named Ray of Maya across the street from one another, both with the same owner. We stayed at the location without the restaurant. The hotel itself was very nice and quiet as...

The Ray of Maya is an excellently run hotel. Mayank, the manager, is very friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The hotel is set back from the noisy road, and is very peaceful. Our room was big and very comfortable. Breakfast at the sister hotel Maya across the street - though not included - was inexpensive and delicious...

We stayed here in early September for a few days. It's hard to find affordable CLEAN accommodation in India but this place is definitely both. The air con worked brilliantly and the WIFI was good too. Fridge in the room was very much appreciated for cold drinks. Our shower didn't have hot water the first few tries but we told...

We stayed here because of the proximity to the Taj Mahal which is about 10 mins walk max. The rooms are spacious enough, clean and with good TVs and showers. Quite expensive but ok as location good. Near plenty of restaurants. We paid extra for a transit room here as we were catching a late train elsewhere. Very pleasant staff.

We stayed here as a family of 5 including seniors. After having arrived from Jaipur which is a super clean and organized city, Agra itself and the surroundings of this hotel were a let down. They were a filthy mess. Pros - - Very convenient to visit the Taj. 15 min walk. - Cabs are easily available outside the hotel...
