Great location on the ghats, close to the evening Aarti ceremony. No elevator due to older historical building and inability to retro-fit. Small rooms but refurbished and clean. 24 hour hot water with good pressure. Small but adequate breakfast buffet. Helpful staff that accommodated requests for additional bottled or hot water. Great view from the rooftop deck. Somewhat overwhelming initial...

This hotel guest house is in a great location seconds from the Ganges river and the nightly Aarti ceremony. It is an old property with no elevator so guests should be aware that they need to climb stairs to get to heir rooms. If you are willing and able, this hotel will deliver! The staff are friendly and the rooms...

Varanasi is an amazing place unlike anywhere else on earth we have been. The town is a minimum one hour drive from the airport through typical Indian traffic - taxis are easy to find (prepaid booth saves haggling). The new part of town is a long way from the Ganges so unless you really have to have modern luxury then...

Hotel is by the banks of the Ganga,so it's location is spot on. Beside the main Dashaswmedha Ghat, in the old city of Varanasi. The bedroom was small, but OK since we were only there for 2 nights. Goof view from bedroom window

We have recently stayed here for two nights as a large group in three rooms. So had an opportunity to see all the different choices of rooms on the top floor, large, medium with River view and small without river view. They were all decent, but none was extraordinary. The view is great, but the room without view was not...

We really enjoyed our stay at Rashmi. The location is excellent, next to river. We had a lovely room facing the river. The staff are helpful and friendly. You need to go by foot to get to hotel, we were met by porters which was helpful. At the moment there is no working restaurant but they are opening in a...

If you are willing to stay at the bank of the ganges then this is the best place.Only once concern is the room size.It is too small for a family. We stayed there for 2 nights at the backside of the hotel as the rooms were not available.Food is too costly hence we had our breakfast, lunch and diner outside. There are lot...

The journey to get to this hotel was an interesting introduction to Varanasi. Walking through the side streets, avoiding cowpat and ignoring hawkers! The rooms were lovely and the beds were so good! The restaurant was undergoing renovations while we were there, which was an inconvenience but we discovered new restaurants instead of eating at the hotel, which was great....

Wow, what a view 180 degree views of the Ganges and life in Varanasi. The accommodation is great, remember this is a guest house and not a hotel. Staff are super helpful. Restaurant was being renovated at the time but room service meals are available and breakfast in the large foyer is great. There are also a couple of hole...
