I liked the rooms…the staff was helpful and polite. breakfast was also quite good. Would surely consider this again hotel for my next visit to dehradun as its very near to the main market paltan bazar(1.5km) only.
The interiors of room were nowhere near to as shown in the images at treebo hotels website. It was stated that amenities like electric kettle with coffee porches will be present in treebo trend hotel nothing was there. In bed there were no cushions as shown in the picture.the dish network was so pathetic that no channels were coming in it.In bathroom even the basic amenities like soap were not available and the one which they kept was of terrible quality. Won't like to go to Treebo hotels again as the things which are promised are not delivered
it was value for money. They hotel is near to railway station so that was a big relief. The room was also quite nice, interior and space wise. Ample space for parking and there are many restaurants near by just 2 mins walking distance from the hotel like donimos,dosa.com , etc.
This is a local or traveler that wants to be at a local level. This is not for the Hilton or Marriott clients. See video review on DHK Asia You Tube called Treebo Trend GK Residency Hotel, Dehradun India.
Room was not clean at the time of occupation and it was not cleaned on next day as well due to shortage of staff as explained by Hotel management. At entrance there is no stairs, only a ramp with loose stone particles due to which I slipped on the first day which caused lot of injuries on my feet, hands and other body parts.
Room service was pathetic. We ordered tea and it took more than an hour for them to serve and we had to follow up twice. Same with breakfast. Overall it was an average experience. Would not recommend anyone.
Your Hotel is nice. Best part is its location and the beautiful views from room Balconies. Also the green Terrace is very nice. What bothered us was stinky smell on the floors below -2. i think it is the smell coming from sewage pipes. Simply put, its horrible and can not be compromised with. I suggest you must get rid of this in order to do a better business.
If you are looking forward to a budget and overnight stay at Dehradun , you can stay over at this property. The lady at the front-desk gives you a very sweet and warm welcome. As I mentioned , if you are planning for a day or two stay then the room size is decent enough to stay out. Room service is excellent and the staff is also courteous. The room has all amenities minus the safe lock. The location is near to the Clock-tower and Rajpur road which has has all options for shopping and food outlets. I had a comfortable experience staying at this place with my wife.
We booked this hotel based on the review saying it was a quiet hotel. But it was not so. The walls are absolutely not insulated, so all the noise from the party hall, receptions etc can be heard upstairs (rooms) They have no idea about the level of silence and quietness that has to be, specially for those who have travelled 10hrs via flight and 8hrs via road and are pretty jet lagged. According to the lack of room amenities, it is not a 3 star hotel. The bed was thankfully comfortable. But the design of the bed, gave all of us a bad scar in the legs as we bumped on its sharp edge that stuck out, sigh! We had problem using wifi in the room cause of faulty router. No one had an idea how to fix it. Breakfast is very disappointing, unless you are happy with bread and eggs. Sometimes we had to go down to the hall for buffet breakfast, sometimes we had to order it, sometimes we had to order in the room. It was never properly informed. Cups are dirty around the corners of the handle, which you start to ignore after few days. Communication with the staffs can be quiet confusing, my husband had few situations where he asked for 2 bottles of filtered water and ended with 1 bottle of filtered water and two bowls....lol If it was not for the staff, I would have nothing nice to say about my stay here. They are very helpful, friendly and very sweet too. If you are staying for 2 nights then its ok but if its a week, then I would not recommend it, specially if you are planning for some quiet nights. Btw! no windows in the room, so no views. I would not pay extra for balcony cause you step out and look at a wall.…
The hotel is good, staffs are awesome and very well behaved and well mannered, soft spoken, you just need to ask and they will get the job done. Few things were missing like no room pantry, no soap, no moisturizer, shower cap, no shaving kits.. etc which should be there, if we ignore these basics amenities then it's really a good hotel.
