A mansion of yetser years turned into a neat, beautiful small hotel/homestay place while retaining its original beauty. That is how I would describe in brief. Being an ex-Doon'ite, I can very well understand the importance of such mansions with large rooms, high ceilings, fire places etc. None of it has been changed while adding on modernities is what further adds to the beauty of this place. Very very comfortable stay. And yes... not to forget... the finger licking grub prepared in the small kitchen is worth to die for.... A must visit and stay place when in Doon... Kudos....
Stayed here on a recommendation of a friend. The hotel is 500 mtrs from The Doon school. The rooms are normal size but very clean. The design of the hotel is very simple and rustic. The staff is excellent - my wife is vegan vegetarian and the kitchen cooked her meals as per her needs which was very helpful and made the stay very pleasant. Wifi was food. A very pleasant stay and excellent choice in Dehradun, will be back.
Cozy, comfortable, quiet elegance in the heart of town. No better way to experience Dehradun. They are pet friendly so take your loved one along. Food is super, not oily but homely. The smile of the chef prompts you to eat more of the delicacies that she churns out. Overall a wonderful stay.
we stayed at the place from 27th aug to 1st sep....lovely ambience... smiling staff - Ms Bharathu, Mr Arjun and the gracious hostess Ms Ruchi... breakfast was yummy.... they have serene settings where you can settle down with a book borrowed from their library...didnt feel like getting out at all... Altogether a lovely place to stay if youare in dehradun...
AC wasn't working, lock wasn't working, only one support staff and no pleasantries. Worst is that they don't give you a legal invoice and give a hand written one (illegal) with no GST. No welcome and no smiles around. It's like a hostel with no food choices.
This place is a good find. We stayed here for the weekend and loved it wholeheartedly. 1. The rooms are aesthetically designed and named after the many varieties of mangoes. 2. The staff members are approachable, courteous and helpful. 3. Food is what one would eat at home - simple, less spicy, and delicious. 4. Just 12 minutes ride from the Dehradun railway station. 5. One may practise yoga with a certified instructor, if staying over the weekdays. 6. One is also allowed to pluck the mangoes. Imagine how therapeutic is that! 7. The hosts are lovely too. They love to share their stories, mangoes and the many happy spaces in the courtyard. Mango Tree Courtyard in Dehradun is highly recommended and is pure love ❤️ - Anushree B (June, 2022)
It was a wonderful stay. We had a very relaxing time. The food from the kitchen was also really delicious. We will look forward to to stay again when we visit Dehradun. The rooms were quite spacious and everything was spink and spank.
Was visiting to attend a family event, wanted to be close to town and Mangot Tree turned out to be perfect. Clean rooms, yummy breakfast and warm smiles. Thanks you all. Had to leave a night earlier, Neeraj was kind enough and accommodated our request. May your tribe increase !!!
We decided to take a detour and stumbled upon Mango Tree Courtyard and we were stunned by the property, the interiors and the food. Everything was beyond our expectations and we highly recommend this.
I had the occasion of enjoying the top-class and thoughtful hospitality of the owners Ruchi and Kaylen and staff of the Mango Tree Courtyard in September 2021. The entire experience was exceptional with personal attention being paid to my needs and expectations. I was impressed by the attention-to-detail at the property and the high standards of service. I will highlight a few things: (1) excellent customer care and communication before, during and after the stay; (2) top-end products and amenities in the room; (3) well trained and caring staff particularly Arjun; (4) outstanding chef Bharti and the kitchen that serves sumptuous meals especially one of the best breakfast menus I have seen anywhere; (5) very thoughtfully decorated common areas like the lobby, library, garden, dining area, sitting areas etc. and (6) personal presence of Ruchi and Kaylen to attend to any of your needs and to ensure that the best solutions are provided for them. Overall, I would rate Mango Tree Courtyard to be amongst the best boutique experiences in India that I have visited. Highly recommended.…
