Located on the camel road and near to Deep hotel. Structure of the hotel was very old and made of wooden. However, it is near to the Mall Road and eatery shops so not difficult to commute. No parking space is available, vechicles are to be parked on road.Rooms are small and tidy.
We stayed five nights. We enjoyed the location and old world atmosphere of the hotel. It is conveniently located near the beginning of Camel Back Road and not far from the Picture Palace bus station. Camel Back Road provides a very pleasant walk with great views. The hotel is an era bungalow with views across the valley and to the clock tower. Our room was large and clean with good wifi, the staff were friendly, and the evening meals we had were good. As with a lot of heritage buildings, there are some inconveniences, but it is a part of the living history of the hill station.
Location wise is good, but rooms are small size.Immediatly action what ever u want..food facility is not up to the mark.items are only shows as name.gyser is not working all the time.Staff is co-operative.Buget hotel for small family.
First of all, this hotel is not on Mall Road, it is little ahead of toll gate where mall road ends. Finding this hotel is a real life challenge and one who get it will feel victorious . This hotel is not approachable by either Cycle rickshaw or local auto, mostly walking will take you here and hence may not be suitable for people with arthritis or joint pain. Service is ok ok, staff is limited and same person takes care of kitchen serving, answer call for room service and bring luggage from car for visitors...one person 4 roles ....:) The location of property is good and quite, it overlooks a ridge valley. This hotel have inhouse kitchen and serve average north Indian food. After 11.30 pm, there is no one on reception so please make sure to return hotel by then. Rooms are fine, spacious family rooms and clean. Fine for an overnight stay, hotel should do something about connectivity....atleast they should have tie up with some local rickshaw to ferry guest, else it is difficult to find this treasure :)…
It was a very bad experience for me n my family. Staff was not co operative. They made us stay outside hotel for nearly 02 hrs even we reached in time. And don't even dare to ask for water or tea. I suggest don't get in this hotel..full waste of money n time..
This place has a very favorable review in LP, how I don't know. The manager is obnoxious and exceptionally rude. upon see my passport he told me I looked 79 not 49, when I told him how rude this was he just smiled, having already payed I was pretty stuffed. The room was drab, the sheets on the bed looked as though they had not been washed. Avoid this place. To the manager...I will be writing to LP about you and your establishment. You may have made it into this addition some how I doubt you will be in the next.
One of the worst places we have stayed in 30 years traveling the world. The service is pathetic, from the very beginning until the end we felt like in a psychiatric ward. The walls are thin and all day all night people are shouting at each other. It was also very cold and the bathroom was not cleaned properly when we arrived. The pros: quiet location, hot water.
If you are planning for a budget stay with a scenic view from the doors and windows open, then you must go with this hotel. Very peaceful, superb location and good food. Yes it looks more like a cottage with old look. Its a worth place for short stay.
This was the worst hotel we've stayed.Rooms are quiet dirty and even bed .Servicing is also very bad and food was worse but very expensive.I really dont like to write bad feedback but this time I cant ignore. It is possible to adjust few things when you are not in home but adjusting with clinliness is very taugh. Here bed , bathroom all are dirty .
Location was good, short walk from main mall road and very quiet, beautiful view. Room wasn't particularly clean though and there's no wifi. Staff were helpful when asked but we also found them a little bit intrusive and pushy, e.g trying to get us to eat at their restaurant instead of going out and directly asking for a tip when we checked out.
