This is a old resort at a great location. The resort is on a valley between two small lush green mountains. The resort was almost empty so we got a upgrade to a villa. But to our disappointment it wasn't very functional. The spiral staircase is so narrow to carry our luggage. The top floor master bedroom is huge but...

I visited the beautiful anahata with my mum in November for my birthday. Everything about the resort from the start to finish was beautiful. I could not have faulted a thing. We booked a private pool villa and it was perfect. The main swimming pool was clean and deep with loads of room to relax. Watching a thunderstorm while relaxing...

Anahata was great, the pool was beautiful and the surrounding jungle was gorgeous. The rooms are quite old but huge and clean. The resort is quite far from Ubud but they provide a shuttle 3 times a day- if you want to leave or return at another time it will cost you (not too expensive), but there is really not...

We stayed four nights at the Anahata and really enjoyed this hotel. However, there are some useful things that visitors should know about before booking: 1. Many insects: These villas are literally in the middle of the jungle. While the villas themselves are clean, spacious and beautiful, bugs are entirely inevitable. If anyone has a strong aversion or fear of...

Love the 3 bedroom villa, the space and the view. It's amazingly quiet and very good for retreat. However, wifi is no good! Unstable and not available in rooms. Tiles in main pool were crack and resulted me cutting my toes! 😞 But food is perfect in this place, just make sure your able to wait!!! Friendly staff in the...

Amazing place with gorgeous view to the jungle. Everything is so clean in villa and in good condition, drinks are for free (tea, coffee, water). This resort territory is huge, there are common big swimming pool, jacuzzi, yoga and meditation place, spa and downstairs fantastic mountain river. Breakfasts were good, there were choices of Indonesian food and european cuisine. We...

Had high expectations when booking this place, but sadly we were not overwhelmed. We stayed the nights of 13th and 14th of September. A birthday treat. The spot is fabulous, amazing views, great private pools with peaceful jungle views. but too many dislikes from us. You need to keep in mind this place is built on a hill, so a...

I loved my time in Anahata, the staff was incredibly nice and did everything to make me feel at home! The relaxed atmosphere has a lot to do with the amazing location: in the forest, a couple of minutes walk from rice terraces and beautiful villages. I even saw a monkey climbing a tree from my room's window! The free...

The villas and the staff at the Anahata were simply amazing, including the spa staff! I highly recommend the Villa with the private pool...beautiful setting, great food and service, what more could you ask for? The wifi is only in the lobby/restaurant area, so you get the chance to disconnect anytime you are in your 'residence' which is nice, but...

I'm not sure why there are some negative reviews. This resort is brilliant. The villa's are luxurious, spacious and spotless. The plunge pool was clean and warm and the lagoon pool was stunning. We stayed with 2 kids and 3 adults. The master suite and bathroom was huge and beautiful. The 2 downstairs rooms were lovely and both come with...
