Spent two nights as part of multi centre trip. Arrived early and guided to a lounge area with drinks and snacks whilst waiting for our room. Nice touch. Beautifully kept hotel and gardens with fabulous restful interior design. Very comfortably appointed premier room (5th floor) with several complimentary toiletries and mini fridge ( soft drinks/snacks). Strange being dropped off at the hotel which is in the centre of Kuta to then walk though the grounds, past the pool onto the beach. Beach and sea are disappointing if you are looking for white clean sand. However the pools, relaxation areas and plant foliage were one of the best we have experienced. Complete immersion and relaxation. Warm water and plenty of little nooks and crannies. Things set up for chess, table tennis, bike riding, pool netball and volleyball. Huge choice of buffet for breakfast and dinner in Sands restaurant. Lovely fresh choice of daytime snacks by the pools. Had dinner in the other restaurant and unfortunately disappointing experience. Partly due to large number of conference delegates over the weekend who took over the majority of the restaurant. The waiter in our area did not have the experience to keep refreshing the tables after each group sat and ate hence we looked at dirty dishes piling up on neighbouring tables as each small group ate and left and the next group sat at the same table - throughout our meal. Many of the guests were smoking continuously which is acceptable in Bali but not our preference. We seemed to get lost amongst he conference guests. No visible vixen e of MD in charge to supervise. Despite busy town centre ( which some guests will love) and disappointing beach. We enjoyed the food, service and pools. Great R&R. Good value for money compared to UK.…
Loved our experience here. My husband and I stayed for over a week and was very impressed by the resort but especially the staff! We made genuine friends with them! The rooms are wonderful as well and the food is next level. Will be back for sure!
We stayed at an amazing hotel in Ubud called the Alaya, so the bar was set extremely high. I paid more for the Anvaya hotel which is probably why I was quite disappointed. The staff were lovely, everyone was so polite and welcoming, the pool and beach area was well kept and we really enjoyed it. But, the room was a big disappointment and needs to be freshened up. There was a foul smell in the bathroom, either from the drain, toilet, damp or from smelly cloths used to clean the bathroom. It got quite bad to the point we had to keep the toilet lid closed and the door shut. The shower had mould and the door drags water out when you open it so the bathroom floor becomes incredibly slippery which then moves into the room when you walk through. So it was a safety hazard. Our fridge broke and was leaking water everywhere and the solution we were given was a towel. The remote control didn’t work well and the wifi connection was the poorest I’d experienced in Bali. The air conditioning unit had a mind of its own and changed temperature consistency. We ordered room service twice. The first time was really good, we ordered a vegetarian pizza. It was delicious. The second time we ordered the same along with fries and onion rings. The fries were cold, and one of the items gave me and my mum a tummy upset. Very annoying because it was the night before we flew back to the UK. So it made our journey back uncomfortable. The departure lounge was poor in comparison to how lovely the arrivals lounge was. It had no refreshments (not even water) or fruit, the toilet/shower facilities hadn’t been cleaned in a while so we got changed in the lounge itself. This wasn’t nice for my mum. The staff at the breakfast buffet were so lovely and welcoming. Though the food was hit and miss. The pancake was undercooked to the point where batter leaked out from the inside. Same situation happened on one occasion at the dosa station where the dosa was undercooked and soft. However, we returned both and they were quick to act on it. The variety of foods was great and accommodating for all pallets, but it was hit and miss everyday on the freshness. The juice/fruit bar, was superb and I definitely enjoyed it and the staff running it were so polite and lovely! Can’t reiterate enough how polite everyone was, but I think the people of Bali generally are lovely, especially in the hospitality industry. Our room was definitely not 5 star quality. More like 3. The first 2-3 days our room was cleaned and looked after well. Towards the last 2 days, not so much. They got a bit lazy with it. I did ask for a room upgrade when checking in as they had a free upgrade as an option when I booked depending on availability. But they said the resort was fully booked so we were pretty much stuck in there. Lucky for us we had a packed itinerary so didn’t spend much time in our room. Sorry I didn’t take pictures of the faults above. Didn’t intend to write a review till we were sat in the underwhelming departure lounge and realised we had to change into out airport clothes in the middle of the lounge. Would I stay here again? Probably not.…
The Anvay is an excellent hotel. Although it's a large hotel there is no sense of crowding. The staff at Anvaya go out of their way to make your visit enjoyable, We had a minor medical issue which was dealt with superbly by the staff. Apart for a few minor niggles (pillows too soft) and no firm pillows available it is difficult to fault the facility. 3 beautiful pools and two excellent restaurants: Sands for Western meals and Kunyit for Balinese meals. There are also good restaurants in the street outside the hotel. The beach is poor as the airport works have changed the tide action. There is a boardwalk where you can take a short walk to Kuta beach. It is a resort we would definitely visit again and recommend to friends.
Start the day with a beach walk 🌊, have a floating breakfast 🥞🥭 at your own private villa and then go to the pool to chill and catch some vitamin D ☀️💦. After a day full of adventures relax with a nice massage 💆♀️ at the SPA followed by an afternoon tea ☕️ and the most perfect sunset view. Enjoy the sunset after colors 🌅 with a cocktail 🍹 or a coconut 🥥 and end the day having the most delicious local food 🥘 at beautiful restaurant watching local traditional dances 💃 and listen to Balinese music. This is what you get to experience when you stay here! The dreamiest holiday ever comes true! ✨
Great staff and great service. Close to amenities and facilities excellent place to stay with family and friends. Pool resort literally pools everywhere. Great food too. Cleaning of the facilities was amazing and the staff are always smiling, staff will recognize you and great you every day.
This hotel are the best! We have been there 3 times now, 19 times in Kuta Bali. We allways stay for 1mnd. The hotel have a very good service and very friendly staff! The breakefast is fantastic as well!
My sister and I always love our stay at this gorgeous hotel, and the pool lagoon rooms are our favourite! The free mini bar is well stocked, the rooms are nicely appointed, and the bed has quality linen. The goose down pillows are amazing! The resort has beautiful, well maintained gardens and all the staff are very friendly. The buffet breakfast has a huge variety of food that is well presented.
The Anvaya is such a beautiful hotel with very personal and caring staff. We visit bali often and travel around the island, staying at different locations. The Anvaya is our favourite. While it’s in Kuta ( quieter than Legian) it has such a peaceful vibe and nothing is too much trouble. The beds are so comfortable and the king coil goose pillows are very luxurious. On the beach, with stunning pools we usually try to get a lagoon access room with our own area to swim amongst the tropical gardens. The included breakfasts are in another level to anywhere else. There would be well over 100 choices, including Indonesian, western, Japanese, Chinese and Indian, a fresh juice bar, egg station, dessert bar, salads, breads, etc. The staff are very friendly and happy. My favourite place to stay in Bali.…
We stayed at this 5 star resort yet again for 5 nights and was not disappointed. The service, staff and the facilities are outstanding. Our room, a premier lagoon access was sensational, in fact any room at this resort you select you will be happy. The restaurant's at the Sands and Kunyit are excellent, the breakfast, the variety of dishes are the best ever. The friendly, welcoming staff are super, very obliging and helpful. You are treated as special person. We had the Balinese massages at the resort and were very impressed and felt terrific afterwards. If you are looking for 5 star quality, 5 star facilities, 5 star service then go no further than the Anvaya. Beach Resort. The pools, it’s location, beach front and quality is the best and is truely outstanding. I have stayed here and keep returning 5 times and intend staying there in August 2023. A special thanks to Ayin and her specialised professional team who provide that special welcoming, service. The pool manager and his team in fact everyone. Gosh they are superb. Location is excellent, the gardens beautiful and having a sunset cocktail at the front under a coconut palm, you couldn’t ask for more. Food and drinks are very reasonable as well. This Resort is very relaxing, picturesque and offers you everything you desire. Can’t wait to visit my second home at the Anvaya Beach Resort again.…
