We have stayed here a couple of times. It is a great locally owned facility in the heart of Kuta. Right in Poppies One and being a very clean budget priced facility we often stay here at the start and end of our holiday if we are moving around the island etc. Great friendly service from the staff. Breakfast is included in the tariff and the choice of two pools is a bonus.

We first stayed at the Masa Inn 20 years ago and have stayed a few times since. Location is great, close to beach, shops and restaurants. Grounds are well maintained with large pool and good breakfast. (Brown bread) Workers are very friendly and efficient. Room is clean with tv, air con, fridge and safe. My only suggestion is why not start freshening up the rooms-shower grout, flooring, paint, etc. Would make it so much more appealing. Recommend this place to stay.

i stayed at the masa inn 10 years ago and always remembered it fondly so i decided to stay there again for my return .the grounds look excatly the same - one may argue that it is starting to look a bit dated compared to all the new resorts that have sprung up lately ,but i like that it is unpretentious , friendly and of such great value ! i had booked a triple room for extra space ( why not at $ 21 / night ? ) it had a large sunny balcony , a great fridge with some bottle water and a safe and there are several channels in english on the television . A.C. worked well as well as the wifi . if i had any complain , it would be that i thought that the room was too dark , especially at night .... the bathroom is pretty basic with zero amenities - you only get towels and toilet paper but the shower has good pressure and is very hot and they are eager to clean your room every day if you so desire . they serve a healthy yummy breakfast every morning by the pool with unlimited coffee or tea that was a real treat ! i like that it is located on poppies lane 1 , a few blocks from the beach and some cheap restaurants and shops. the staff was wonderful , always greeting me with a warm smile and ready to help . the place seems to be very popular with ( older ) australians , many of them return customers and i can see why ! i must say i was a bit disappointed with kuta when i first arrived as it has grown so much over the last few years , it ' s unrecognizable but i managed to avoid the craziness and made the most out of my stay and staying at the masa inn certainly was the icing on the cake and i cannot wait for my next visit !

We used the masa as a base to travel from and meet up with friends that were joining us on our month long trip in Bali. The service at the masa was always impeccable, you really felt like you were at home. The breakfast was always delicious and the coffee even better. It wouldn't let me choose this far away but we stayed in October 2015.
