It’s a shocker in the whole area. Most of the hotel is closed. We were told they only had 2 rooms left but really they are expecting no customers. The up side is you can have the pool bar and pool to yourself entirely, there’s no one here due to covid. Booking. Com want £50 a night but turn up it’s £35 for big double , There are no lights through the quite luxurious gardens so expect to be falling over in the dark. No lights to your room. Very sad to see the place so quiet. Good as a quick stop over for the money before finding real Bali but this isn’t. It’s a 1980’s hotel struggling after covid as nearly all are.Staff are friendly but lack local knowledge. Taxis, ferries etc. seems like they are surprised to get customers back. Pool is lovely though and short walk to beach / town but if you’re not Asian you will get approached every person you meet. Keran beach is great , the best fish ever straight off the boat and not once offered cocaine, hash, girls, lift, wet wipes, water etc etc etc can be upsetting as these people are on their knees.…
I spent 2 weeks in this hotel in 9/2019. Still remember all the kindness and hospitality of the staff, the extra delicious food in the restaurant with the specialities during lunch and romantic sunsets during the dinners. Do not miss the breakfast! :) The sea is more for jumping to the waves but there are beautiful pools in this awesome hotel. I loved relaxing in the garden. I never forget this top experience.
Don't book. the hot water is not working and the internet is not working. Hot water has not been on for a year. I booked through Agoda and checked in this morning. I immediately cancelled the booking. But these thieves will not approve the refund to agoda. So now agoda have my money and will send it to Bali Garden Beach Resort with a cut for agoda. Perfect SCAM!
Traditional Balinese resort, with lush gardens and three pool areas. Located centrally in Kuta opposite Waterbom, walking distance to shopping, markets and attractions. Infinity pool is overlooking the beach and restaurant is priced well with delicious food. Spa is also priced well, but nothing to rev about. Breakfast definitely needs improvement as we expect variety and quality for the resort this size. Suitable for families and couples and some rooms have been renovated. It must be the only hotel still charging for room wifi. Other than that it’s recommended and we would go back.
We couldn’t fault our stay at Bali gardens from the minute we got there, we got upgraded to a deluxe room the staff everywhere was great, the food and drinks prices are good, breakfast was great except I wish they had baked beans more often, great location to walk anywhere will definately stay again
