I would stay here again and I would have given this a higher review if I was not aware that I have peculiar tastes. To me the big sell was the ambience of this great dishevelled beauty. The layout, the carved doors, old light fixtures, and the classic architecture of the open air library. The price was within our budget....

My second visit in 2012. This is a very nice hotel reight close to all the nightlife in Kuta/Legian. Includes a sparse B/F and has a nice restaurant that overlooks the street. Large pool and quaint rooms that overlook the pool and lovely Balinese furnishings. Good for the budget traveller.

Plenty of people dining in this restaurant, which is always a good sign. We ordered jaffles, steak sandwich and I got nasi goreng. Complimented with a couple of bintangs. No issue with the jaffles and fries. The steak sanga was good, only a letdown with the 6 shoestring fries that came with it. The nasi goreng was fair and the...

They say you get what you pay for ....but Asthma/couldn't sleep or breathe is a new one (the dust was soo bad and the smell of moth balls and the rank damp) it was really difficult to breathe because the room was so damp and dirty. We had dust flying off the 2 dirty old pillows & grey mattress, there...

Nice budget hotel right in the heart of the Kuta/Legian strip. The nightlife is right outside yet you will never know or hear the sounds as the hotel is set back almost 100m from the street. Rooms are adequate and cleaned daily. Almost all rooms have a pool view and a nice balcony. This is a basic hotel and the...

Stayed for the first three days upon my arrival at the Prawita. Friendly and helpful staff around the clock. Close to everything. ATM and convenient store right across the street. Night clubs restaurants, taxis are right outside this beautiful property. The rooms are beautiful, all richly hand carved doors and ceilings, Balinese style. Big swimming pool and beautiful landscaping with...

We stayed at this hotel in December 2014 for one night. Thank goodness. Let me start with the pros. The hotel has a quaint design which gives it a unique Indonesian feel and it is located steps from nightclubs and restaurants. The cons are innumerable so let me highlight only the major ones. The room was dirty, the bed uncomfortable,...

The hotel is located in the centre of Kuta. So that means there is a lot of noise until 6am.. The guys in front of the hotel are trying to sell you almost anything.. Every day, over and over.. I would not recommend this place, unless you are on a budget and looking for dirty bars..
