I don’t like to put up bad reviews but feel I need to warn people about this hotel. There seems to be 2 hotels close by on the same street. I am reviewing the one that should be closed down. These were the problems I experienced. Unable to pay at hotel, had to walk down the street to the other hotel to pay, staff with limited to no English, fridge did not work, telephone did not work, unclean, taps that did not work or broken, door handle fell off, windows that would not lock, walls crumbling. Room service plates left outside for 3 days. DVD did not work. On very busy road. I felt unsafe & wanted to leave.
The hotel have spacious room, unfortunately the room so dirty, dust everywhere, the mirror very dirty and the bedsheet make me itchy, cannot sleep all night. The room have upleasant smell, so the bathroom. Will Never come here again.
A good hotel but it’s on a very busy main road, you can’t hear the traffic noise from the rooms or anything but I know this may put some people off. There is a hotel with the same name just next door that must be attached to the same hotel but the building work is not quite finished there so don’t panic too much if they drop you at the wrong one. The hotel itself is lovely and clean, great rooms. Staff are also helpful and very friendly. The location is pretty close to everything but it is right on a main road so you might need to get taxis everywhere. Follow our travel adventure on instagram: @visasandventures
The location is easy to reach and is on a major side street. The interior is quite charming but impressed dark, the hotel rooms are neat but a little dusty. Friendly staff and very initiative. Price is very affordable for tourist.
The Hotel may be calling itself 100 Sunset but when i arrived I was shown to it's sister hotel which i guess is 102 Sunset road. Not a patch on the other hotel which is closed now. My room was not what i expected, much small and no dvd player, no hot water for my 2 day stay.
it is noisy but if you like life it is ok just stay a week and appreciate the nice people and nice rooms near the beach and the good restaurants just feel free to get a nice sunset and cool relax swim
I moved to 100 Sunset Boutique with two kids (11 &13) after my wife was admitted to the Siloam Hospital. This was the closest hotel I could find, 400m away on the same side of the road. There are actually two 100 Sunset hotels and they are next two each other - the original one is at 100 Sunset Road is actually closed for renovation and 100C Sunset Road is still trading. So, some of the pictures you see online show the facilities at 100 Sunset Road - like their large gym. The hotel was newer than the one we had been staying - Kuta Paradiso and it was less family orientated. Nevertheless the Premier room was spacious, modern and clean. It came with all the stuff we had at the bigger hotel - tea and coffee making facility, fridge but no mini bar items, free bottled water and toiletry items such toothbrushes. The hotel also has your run of the mill standards - Air Con, WiFi, cable TV, 24/7 reception and a very small gym (its not the one feature on their website). The bed was only a queen but the three of us were able to fit on it without the need for an extra single bed, at the cost of IDR 250K per night - would have been perfect if it was a King. The place was like a ghost town as I only caught gimps of 4 other guests around. We had the breakfast room and the pool to ourselves during our stay. I was pretty sure there was not any more than the four people I saw were staying at the hotel - it is a little away from the action at Kuta or beach - about 2.2km away. Some reviewers have complained about the Asian orientated breakfast and the lack of choices. While this was true, it didn't impact on us. The kid has access to cereal and toast and I didn't mind the Asian food for breakfast as long as there was coffee! There were so many staff around! Most of the time there were at least two staff stationed at the reception but during the day there can be up to 6 with no guests to attend to. They were always friendly, helpful and greet you and smile as you come and go. The hotel is close to Lippo Plaza, where the hospital is also located. There are a few eating options if you like Indonesian and Japanese food and price is good. There is also two cafes - one European style and one Indonesian. The plaza is open till 10pm have a few other stores and a food mart in the basement. Across from the hotel is a 24hr Circle K and what look like a local fast food - Presto Ayam. A larger shopping Centre, Carrefour is about 1km away.…
Bali was only in my opinion before, from many people stories or many reviews from many literature. But Lucky me, my former office called up me to join their gathering at Bali. Yes, I ready to get Bali! In my first Bali trip, I stayed at 100 Sunset Boutique Hotel. Well, this hotel had an unique architecture. This hotel had an eye-catching color with its fire-red. When you come into the lobby, the temperature is cool. It was really safe us from the heat of Bali. It is located strategically in the main road at Kuta. But you have more effort to get the beach. You can get the beach by taxi or motorcycle taxi. The interior was so good. The suites is built surround its swimming pool. Some suites in ground floor had a direct access to get the pool. Near the pool, you can get the dining room/restaurant. So you can bring your meals and have it at the pool side. The menu was various, contain with western and Indonesian as well. The room is spacious. If you want and if it is still available you can ask for Sunset Road-view room. The temperature was good. If you want to had some snacks or buying something, you can get mini market cross the road in front of the hotel. Good hotel for staying. Recommended.…
It's a good hotel. I feel comfortable sitting in the pool side:D The room is great it has medium sized.im not really like the bathroom because it has glass door for the shower and there isnt any cover but for the bathroom door there is cover sticker. But its a good hotel
The bed was great ;) but as for the hotel its self its poor customer service, lack of staff speaking english, poor location far from everything, but perfect for people who want peace and quiet. Needs picture updates
