Where to start? I stayed 3 weeks in this perfect little surf camp with an endless flux of people coming in and out providing new friendships every week! The camp was so amazing as it really embodies balinese lifetsyle... the bungalows are well equipped with two double beds upstairs and one king size bed downstairs (two different bedrooms) and outdoor...

Been there two times already, during the wet season in January and during main season in August. Both stays were simply awesome. The Camp is located on Bukit near Padang Padang with a lot of surfspot within 30 min driving distance (this includes all spots from Airports/Jimbaran to Uluwatu and up to Nusa Dua). Buildings/bungalows/facilities are in held in traditional...

What can i say?! Simply amazing, since the moment we got in, we experienced the full bali way of living. We love the staff from the camp, mama julia, saunders, made, chak and the rest of the staff (sorry i forgot the name) they were all so friendly! and Simon the surf camp owner is a truly cool guy, you...

I spent ten days at Kamafari and everything was great, my room was nice and clean equipped with the a/c, the staff was very friendly and helpful, surfing lessons were held in small groups of 4 or 5 people, they also organized a transportation for me to go around the island and it was great because the driver was a...

I had planned to stay at Kamafari Surf Camp for 3 weeks on my three month sabbatical from work and after that time had passed, it was clear that I wasn't leaving anytime soon. What was three weeks turned into 6, then 11 and in retrospect staying there longer was one of the best decisions of my life. The camp...

For the second year in a row, Kamafari didn't fail to make our Bali surf trip an epic one. The staff is wonderful as always and the other guests makes staying at Kamafari feels like you have the entire place with your closest friends. The recent bungalow additions are beautiful and I'm happy to see that they're constantly renovating and...

Everything is so relaxed in this part of Bali. The people are great, friendly and give you a warm welcome from day 1 as part of the Kamafari family. I had a comfortable stay here, clean rooms and bathrooms. Food was good, you get simple, home-cooked food by Julie and crew. There are also a number of eateries and grocery...

Bali is a magical, overwhelming place. It was my 2. time here and I spent it at Kamafaris Surfcamp. I have no regrets, this camp provides (awesome) breakfast and dinner, clean rooms, a nice bathroom and great service. Most important thing to me is the vibes of a place, and the Kamafari vibes are definitely pure sweetness! People who stay...

http://pleasantcynicism.com/blog/2013/1/11/kamafari-surfcamp-in-bali The vibe in Bali is special. The Kamafari family is capable of enhancing the Balinese experience. Kamafari is a place I debated whether to write about. Sometimes you want to hoard a few of the good spots. The camp is on the Bukit peninsula of Bali where local activity outweighs tourists. Tourists....ugh.. You seek local culture, cuisine, and insight...
