No deposit back- No feedback at all Hi there,My name is Yen, I booked 2 nights at your hotel via booking. com, and when I checked out, the staff did do an action to charge me back my deposit, however, since I left the hotel on 14th June, the refund hasn't gone through. I sent messages several times on booking. com, but no response at all. I doubt it's the worst service ever. My booking confirmation is: Confirmation number2523.932.842what the service!! I hope this email could help me out! At the same time, I try to post every where in your social media as Instagram and facebook, hope this will make you see I'm desperate here. p.s: I worked with Accor standards but did not know that Accor service could be that bad at Mercure Kuta Bali !!!!thanks,Yen
When we arrived we got shown to our room, told what time breakfast was and then they left. The staff did not tell us where the pool or restaurant was and did not attempt any conversation with us at all. The room we were staying in had a small balcony overlooking a wall and the air con fans, the bathroom smelt of sewage and the fridge was not cold. The room was also very dark with little natural light, even with the curtains open we needed the lights on during the day to see! We asked if we could change and were told it would be an extra £200 to upgrade despite us already paying for the duration of the 5 days we were staying there. The staff were also rude and did not seem to want to help. The pool is lovely but when we went to watch the sunset with a drink we were told they sold no alcohol, only Bintang. This is advertised as a sunset bar but they only sell one drink?! Throughout our stay not once did the staff welcome us or even acknowledge us as we when we were leaving the hotel. There was two of us staying here and I came back early but forgot to get the key, I asked reception to let me in and she rolled her eyes like it was a hassle. When we were checking out the lady behind reception tried to argue with us that we were checking out a day later, we weren't! We tried to explain that our flight was that evening but she was adamant we were leaving early, she kept saying 'no it's okay you have another hotel'. Overall this is worst service I have ever experienced in Asia, as Asian service is usually very friendly and they could not do more to help you, this is not the case here. Rude staff, who talk about you in their local language, poor pool bar and average rooms.…
We went to Mercure for a stay of 3 nights bt the moment we entered the realisation downed on us that its not going to be an easy stay. First the reception staff had no idea of our package and we had to show it to them to get appropriate reservation package with benefits. Ok, that is not a big deal, we thought, and moved on to our room once the formalities were done. The room..an old, wornout place which was horribly designed, extremely dirty and felt unhygienic... the wall paint was damage on many places while the AC duct was super dirty. Bathroom was ok bt i couldn't understand the logic of a steel door behind the sink which wud slide open into the room towards the bed side??!! The doors of bathroom were made of wood which never closed properly. The curtains were dirty and the TV channels, 80% were not working. We quickly decided to cut short our stay to just one night and left the next day. It caused use money to book a higher priced hotel, unnecessary mental stress, and huge inconvenience. The only good thing, their welcome drink was good. Overall its an ill maintained property. If u r desperate and dont have any where to stay, still dont stay here cos desperation is better than a nightmare.…
Our total guest experience journey during our lunch visit at Mercure Kuta Bali**** & Alang – alang restaurant To sum it up again: this could all have been avoided if the staff of Mercure Kuta Bali**** was honest and gave us the proper information by letting us know that Alang – alang restaurant Mercure Kuta Bali**** was being renovated. We could have said “thank you for the heads up, and we will definitely be back when it is finished” But also we could have walked passed this Mercure Kuta Bali****, because of the state of the hotel. It isn’t inviting at all. But we still gave it a try, and sadly when we walked from the security to the Lotus Bar our guest experience journey went from “let’s go and have a great lunch” to “why is it so crowded and chaotic here” ? Our total guest experience journey was a bad one. Looking at the status of All Accor Mercure, well this wasn’t on that level of what you can expect of a four star hotel. Especially lunch or dinner. Is it value for money, no. We weren’t fulfilled and satisfied. Afterwards we did go to another spot, also by All Accor, but that will be our next review. To rate Mercure Kuta Bali**** from 1 being terrible to 10 being WOW, we would give Mercure Kuta Bali**** a 2 for effort, our total guest experience journey was really again disappointing. Hopefully in the near future this will be different, when we visit or stay at Mercure Kuta Bali****. Good Location hotel with Kuta beachfront; sometime road is crowded n packed, hotel need to consider open Backdoor from poppies lane. We are satisfied with the Frontdesk and Housekeeping team, only the Restaurant team need more improvement. Food so standard like motel, the Restaurant need to Raise their quality to face competition from Eateries around it
Overlooking the famous Kuta Beach, Mercure Bali Kuta Beach is a fine hotel worthy to get a five star review. I stayed in two room types. First being the renovated Deluxe Ocean View, the second being the Junior Suite Ocean View. Both rooms are splendid and comes with a bath tub. I particularly loved the comforts of the Deluxe Ocean View room type, although both rooms possesses a remarkable ambience and staycation experience. Staff were friendly and everything about my stay was memorable and exciting as ever. Thank you to all the team for your genuine hospitality.
I stay at this hotel at 26 Nov 2021. There was an outdoor wedding with super loud music until 10p.m. The Air Conditioner not working at all. at 4a.m. the next day, there were super noisy sound from upstairs, laundry sound I guess. We complaint about both the AC and noisy sound, but the technician only solve the sound long after. He just leave my room hot with no further explanation. At 6 a.m. the AC was completely down and still no explanation. I call the reception with anger, they say that the technician has already solve the AC problem. Nonsense, it completely down. After expressing my anger, they move us to another room with long long long long long time. Money worth nothing. Never stay at this place again
Overall the stay was good, I had a few small complaints but instead of focusing on those I want to take the opportunity to praise Dewi who checked us into our room. Over the years I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, but I have never experienced such wonderful customer service as that provided by Dewi. She really went above and beyond anything a guest could reasonably expect. Thank you so much for all you assistance

I stayed here previously on 2017 and I had a great time, so I decided to book this hotel again for my trip with my dad. As we all know, pandemic hits tourism businesses so bad, and they have to adjust some things. The room rate was waaay cheaper than before, but there are consequences. Firstly, I notice there are more trainees than actual employees on the reception. We booked a deluxe room, and got an unexpectedly small room, with small bathroom, and no table to use for eat or work. Well there was a table, but it was occupied with complimentary drinks, at it has ANTS. Like, LOTS of ants. Funny enough, they ran out of insecticides, and used disinfectant instead 😂 Also the housekeepers seemed like don’t care to remove their shoes when entering our room (yes it happened many many times) Luckily after asking 3 times to switch rooms, they agreed and let me move to a new room the day after, which is bigger, spacier, and have tables I can use (yes, 2 tables). They told us the rooms was fully booked when we checked in, but idk I just think they treated us as “ordinary people” and can give us smaller room because we’ll just accept it 😂 Anyway, a trainee BRAGGED IN without even ring the bell/knock the door once and stupidly said things like “sorry I thought she (a nurse who we called to do antigen swab) is your family member that also stayed here…” Would someone who stay with their family ask the front desk to show the room instead of calling their family member to open the door? 🤦🏻♀️ PS: Don’t bother to have breakfast here. It has sooo little selections, served cold, and not even taste good.…
