Reception very poor lit. Hotel advertising 5 restaurants but yet 3 are shut and 2 restaurants are on the Main Street. They’re over priced and lack quality. The breakfast is an absolute let down. Very poor selection and cold. The Room we had was very clean, very comfortable Bed and good view. Hotel is looking very tired and could do with a freshen up. Lots of space in hotel boarded up and very little to do and no entertainment. The pool is deceiving from the photos. It’s very small and There is a lack of sunbeds. Definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here if more than 3/4 nights.

Negative: The Kuta Paradiso Hotel needs restoration. Positive: The location was perfect close to restaurants, shops, bars, and beaches. The breakfast was very good and fresh with a lot of choices. I was very pleased with the massage coupon. Thank you!!

I am aware that things have been very tough for hotels and tourism during the last few years due to the Covid situation, but the Kuta Paradiso doesn't live up to its '5 Star' hype or photos. It probably was a lovely property back in the day, but now it just gives off a slightly depressing air of neglect. We had booked a Deluxe room online that was clearly advertised as a 'Garden View' The room we were actually shoved in on check-in overlooked a neighbouring construction site, piles of rubbish and service areas. I guess there were a couple of potted plants sitting on the roof of the building next door amongst the aircon units etc, but hardly a 'Garden View' by any stretch of the imagination..... The room was serviceable, but not particularly pleasant to stay in. It smelt damp and musty and reeked of stale cigarette smoke despite a request for a non-smoking room. Housekeeping could have done with some improvements as the room was very dusty (trigging the need to dig through my suitcase in the middle of the night to find my inhaler as the dust caused a wheezing fit) and there was a lot of hair (not ours...) and mould in the bathroom. There were several maintenance issues with the room as well. It always took about 4 attempts to get the key card to work to open the room door (not just operator error, as a passing staff member tried to assist us at one point and struck the same problem) The 'balcony' door was ill fitting around the sides, didn't close properly and let bugs in overnight. The bathroom door was broken and didn't close at all. The shower drain backed up, flooding the bathroom. And the advertised room safe/security box was nowhere to be found in the room. Most of these issue's we could probably have overlooked had it not been for the atrocious amount of noise as well. The room we were in faced one of the main roads of Kuta and there was a huge amount of traffic and associated street noise. Worse was the proximity of the room to the adjoining street-front Sports Bar (associated with the Hotel) that was jammed packed due to a popular footy match (?) being screened which generated a lot of yelling and sreaming etc. Once the match ended and the loud late night music finally died down, any thought of trying to finally get some sleep was then thwarted by some very inconsiderate fellow hotel guests. The rooms either side of us arrived in late and then spent the hours between 2.30am and 5am crashing in and out on of the balconies to smoke (which wafted into our room due to the aforementioned door issue) and loudly shouting into their phones making so many calls it appeared they were trying to make their way through the entire phone book..... We scoped out the pool area and it was a lot nicer than the room to be fair. The area is in need of some TLC and the pool is an interesting layout over several levels. Personally I didn't feel the desire to jump in as it didn't appear to be the best maintained pool we have struck in our time in Bali, with slimey green on the side of the pool etc in areas (under the water line) This didn't seem to detract others though as it was very busy. There was volleyball and basketball set up in the pool and daily (loud) activities scheduled. While I am sure that does appeal to some guests, it didn't really make for a restful poolside environment for those that just like to quietly chill on a sun-lounger. They also had a frustrating system to try and get your hands on a pool towel, where you had to tromp all the way over to the gym and physically sign a towel out using a register and then have the return sighted by staff and signed back in again. On the up side, the Hotel is well situated location wise - a short walk to shopping, restaurants, the beach, a mall and Waterbom Park is almost across the road. The breakfast (which was included in our room rate) was fine. A decent selection on offer and the breakfast staff were about the friendliest staff we ended up dealing with at this particular property. We finally checked out, exhausted after zero sleep, after just the one night and then moved on elsewhere. I was realistic enough to have not gone into this stay expecting the height of luxury - given the price paid, but there are certainly far nicer places to stay in the Kuta area, so will not be considering a repeat visit to the Paradiso during our next trip to Bali.

If we had only read other reviews we would never have stayed here. Filthy. Mouldy. Run down. Pool looked like it had not been cleaned in the two weeks we were there. The bed was filthy as was the bathroom. There was no cover over the mattress and it was shocking.

Even though it looks a bit like an old model hotel from the outside. But inside the room it is quite comfortable. behind the hotel there is a road to Kuta beach and Sagara beach. Just walk because it is very close to the hotel.

We booked a Garden View room at Paradiso Kuta Hotel through Agoda, advertised as 5☆ and requested a QUIET non smoking room. When we checked in we were allocated a room overlooking a building site/rubbish dump right above a very noisy Sports Bar on one of Kutas busiest streets. The room was "reasonably" clean in general and had some functioning facilities but was very dusty and smelled damp and of cigarette smoke. There was no safe deposit box as advertised. The balcony door was ill fitting and allowed entry of many mosquitos. The bathroom door did not shut nor did the wardrobe door which caused problems as there was an automatic light in there that then remained on and we had to disable it at night. The biggest issue was the noise though... absolutely horrendous noise from the Sports Bar below until late at night, the road noise all night and the inconsiderate late arrival guests on either side who spent the time between 1am and 4am shouting into cell phones on the balconies next to us and smoking.... much of which drifted into our room through the poorly fitting door. On a positive note the breakfast was enjoyable and offered good variety, there was a large pool area with loungers that was kept tidy. The hotel in general may have once have been an acceptable place to stay but it's pretty run down now and I'd certainly suggest you look elsewhere as there are many other much better options in the area at a similar price. In all honesty I'd probably have overlooked most of the issues if only we'd been given a room on the quieter side of the hotel!

Would recommend this hotel! We luckily got upgraded to the premium room as they didn’t have a the room we booked for. Pool is lovely and lots of activities. Location is perfect as right by the beach and local attractions. Just needs a little bit of upgrading as our curtain fell down in the night, bathroom needs an upgrade too as cracks in the walls. Staff was really accommodating and friendly!

No Hotel transfers upon arrival. These were part of the package and the hotel staff didn't care less intact they saw my complaint as humorous. I had to pay 350,000 rupiah to get to the Kuta Paradiso of my own money. The motel told me the couldn't be bothered waiting due to my delayed flight. Well they only need to look on line to see if a guests flight is delayed and send out a van when the flight lands. This is very poor service and no excuse from a 5 star hotel. This Kuta Paradiso hotel is just a price gouge along with its ants and unsanitary bathrooms, do yourself a favour and give this pig sty a miss.
