Stayed for 10 days with group of 12 friends. Paradiso was a disaster, Totally run down, screaming for maintenance. Only saving grace was the staff, they were very kind and helpful. We booked a super deluxe room, we had a basic room with balcony, on complaining we were informed we had the room we had booked. TV had no English channels, We were told we had to have a set top box, which was duly installed after much complaining. No facilities in the evening, could not get a drink or coffee. Many evenings there was no security in foyer. Breakfast was almost acceptable, but run a very tight budget. A/C units certainly didnt appeared to have been serviced for many months, consequently many of our party were quite sick. Would never return here if it was for free. Take my advice, pay a bit more and find a decent hotel. My heart goes out to the staff who have to work at this hotel…
Been there and booked for 7 days via an agent but checked out with 5 days earlier as very poor conditions within the hotel, could not use pool as it was very dirty, heard the breakfast options were very limited and with things like rice and noodles. Pictures advertised do not match what will you see in the hotel, shower and bath not maintained clean and overall it was a really bad experience. Would not choose ever again.
Was amazing from start to finish. Hotel is amazing and pool, bars etc 👌🏼...walking distance to everything and staff were super friendly. Able to buy tickets for places and find a driver which was super helpful...and took us to extra places along the way which was awesome and got to go to some small but amazing restaurants we would never have known about 🙌🏼 Definitely recommend
Broken taps and really stinky septic system is barely a start! People at front desk are rude. The location is Central but frankly there are many better places there. Their prices is ultra high compared to other better places around. Do not go there.
Due to pandemic, there are so limited visitors in Bali. We wanted to stay close to airport to find any flight home. We saw Agoda had a deal here. We thought in person they may give us good service and rate with understanding of the severity of situation. Their in person rate was 300% higher! So I booked through Agoda in front of them with no arguments. They immediately said in that price, breakfast not included. I asked the cost of breakfast - it was not as high for them to charge me 300% more. So I requested them to include breakfast. The guy started ignoring me. I asked for a manager so he called someone and spoke in their language, when a lady showed up, she started to speak to me with a time! She spoke over me, she was almost reprimanding me and was racist! (I am Indian- Canadian). Frankly, the hotel is not a 5 star spot. It's Central and huge, that's it. There are many better places in Kuta and truly way better customer service.…
Have stayed four times in the past but will never stay again. Place has gone completely to the dogs. Was once a grand 5-star hotel but is now a sad dirty slum. Tried two different "super deluxe" rooms and decided to checkout.
An amazing hotel, with the biggest breakfast, amazing service, pools, large gym, kids play centre and its in the center of Kuta.Close to so many restaurants, beach, shopping centres, markets. A bus comes pass every 10 minutes for hotel guests and takes you to legian, seminyak. Buy an all day pass and hop on hop off. Taxis always available outside,a few minutes walk to Waterbomb park which is a must. Area around hotel is nice and you feel safe walking at night. Thanks Paradiso Kuta for a enjoyable week.
I was a little reluctant to stay here after reading some of the recent reviews but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I’m not normally a fan of Kuta, I find it too busy and always feel quite anxious but it was extremely quiet which is not necessarily a good thing for tourism but I have never known Kuta to be so quiet so I rather enjoyed it. The hotel foyer is lovely, the staff were friendly, the room was okay on first appearance, was clean and comfortable but if you look closely there is a lot of paint peeling on the walls and the balcony needs a good paint. I do agree with some of the reviews that it needs some renovations to Improve the overall look of the Hotel. The pools were lovely, plenty of sun lounges around, breakfast was amazing and the place had a great vibe about it. It’s only around $150 a night for 2 people including breakfast so is great value. Would I stay here again, most definitely even if just to shop in Kuta for a few days. …
Really frustrating if you have any expectations of being able to check into your room immediately upon arrival. We were told when we arrived at 1600 our rooms weren’t finished being cleaned and we wouldn’t be able to stay in them the whole stay. There were no options for us to stay in a room the whole 5 nights. So we waited 30-40 min while they finished the rooms then had to pack up the next day and move again. We were told we could move in at 1400, when we checked at 1500 they said they weren’t done. At 1530 still not done. I had to get my angry eyes on and got them to finish and let us move in. They run on island time. Big time. Be prepared for this and it’ll be a decent stay. Expect timeliness and you’re likely to be aggravated.
I stay here for 1 night, and the only thing i regret is get tricked by the unupdated photos. This is an old hotel very old one. Actually the room cleanness is not too bad and Each room has a bathroom too. But the linen is old and the bed is already obsolete. My body got sallowed by the bad due to aging. I got worse sleep in this hotel. The pictures is too good (and bright) compared to the actual room. But the food for breakfast is tasty. Just beware brcause the actuall things is not as cozy as it looks in the pic. Oh yea maybe the staff needs a new uniform because i saw alot of staff wear a super shabby uniform.
