Poppies looks like a hidden garden. Staff really cares about fauna in this place - each morning they cut grass with scissors, clean the paths and sweep. They even put a frangipani flower on the top of the figures that are in the garden - super cute :). The pool is in perfect size to swim a little and cool yourself. The hanging pink flowers add charm to this place. Rooms are clean, spacious, equipped with small fridge and air condition. The best is bathroom - is made outside with a big shower. Don’t worry about the insect, there are non due to net on the roof. Staff is super nice and friendly and always helpfull. It is a perfect place for a honeymoon or just to relax and take a deep breath among such pretty surroundings. Higly recommend!

Short walk to crowded Kuta beach but step through the gate into Poppies compound and it's quiet and beautiful. Meander through the gardens to your own private bungalow and its so peaceful. The bungalows are spacious and have the 'Bali' touch! Bathroom has a sunken bath, shower and everything you need. Breakfast on your front porch, Poppies restaurant a short stroll down Poppies lane - its just paradise..

A tropical oasis, a safe haven, paradise! These cottages were a delight. All amenities were on hand and the staff were beautiful. Just footsteps away from the Kuta markets but you would never know. The privacy and security of Poppies is paramount. Laze around the pool or pop over the lane to Poppies Restaurant; this holiday will be one of your best!

Just returned from 8 days at Poppies Cottages, staying in a 3 single bed cottage with my 2 sisters. Beautiful tropical setting with maximum privacy and security. It would be easy to just spend the day by the pool and in the restaurant. Daily servicing was quick and efficient - bottles of water replaced, clean glasses and mugs etc with pre-breakfast bananas and newspaper. Our package - 7 nights, get 1 free, included airport transfers,1 free massage per guest, breakfast daily at Poppies Restaurant which is about 20 metres down the lane, from a great menu, a tasting banquet of 12 dishes for 2, and 10% off every purchase at the restaurant, which negated the 10% tax for something, ;leaving only 6% service tax to be paid on top. All the meals could be delivered to you at the poolside…

Despite operating for decades, Poppies Bali is a totally unique and great way to enjoy some quality accommodation, at an affordable price, within a step to the shops and other Kuta offerings. Literally an Oasis that we stay for the tai lend of every trip to Indonesia. We aren't tempted to do any shopping throughout our visit in the knowledge that this can be done once we check in to Poppies and that we can return to the accommodation if we get tired or simply overloaded with purchases. Staff are incredibly attentive and professional. Rack rate for the accommodation is very competitive and combined with very reasonable bar prices and an icy cold bar fridge that is provided empty to cater for self help options, absolutely perfect. This place is in the busiest Kuta area. But once you're inside, you will feel the tranquil Baliness style. Unlike most of the new places in the area, Poppies still keeps its style like 30 years ago. However, you won't feel the tiredness of the place as to me it's spot clean. What we liked the most is the yummy breakfast sent to your room. Everything was delicious with healthy ingredients. Love it!

This place is just perfect! My family has just spent 3 weeks here in a beautiful, spacious and incredibly clean cottage, the bed was really comfortable, they made up beds for our twin girls that were also perfect and took up no space in the cottage at all, the staff were all super friendly and just absolutely lovely to our little girls, the pool we practically had to ourselves most days and is just like the photos, magical! Food was cheap and delicious, from either the restaurant or by the pool. My husband and I love Kuta for everything it has to offer, the affordable food, beach sunsets and market shopping, but to come home to Poppies after a day out was just serene, we loved it! and will be returning without a doubt.

From the time we arrived to the time we left this boutique hotel, everything was just perfect. Situated in the very heart of Kuta, step into Poppies and you are immediately immersed in well established tropical gardens and a lovely, well laid out landscape. We were in cottage 20. The cottage wass immaculately maintained and cleaned thoroughly each day. The Poppies pool was very inviting and at times, it felt as though it was a private pool despite the hotel being full. Such serenity. Breakfast each morning at Poppies restaurant was delicious with a great ala- carte offering. I don't think we could have chose a more suitable property for our Kuta stay. Highly recommended if you enjoy great service and a lovely setting.

We had one week to escape work and chose Poppies again. This is our seventh stay at Poppies Cottages and it is one of Bali's best tropical boutique hotel. Small, intimate and peaceful, the Poppies staff will ensure you relax and enjoy yourself. If you're considering Poppies Cottages as your accommodation don't hesitate, you'll really enjoy the hotel.
