I am visiting family in the area so needed to stay in a hotel nearby.on first impression the photos looked perfect. However,on arrival I was shown to a room on the ground floor which wasn’t clean, was dated and broken plastic around the shower area which I felt was unhygienic and a safety concern. The patio doors wouldn’t lock which as a solo traveller didn’t make me feel safe. I asked at reception to be moved. After a few minutes of discussion I was told I could move to a “new” room on the third floor overlooking the pool. First impression it was definitely an improvement but definitely not a “new” room. Paint peeling, laminate wood peeling, broken kettle, no fridge. A new kettle and an old fridge was then replaced. The bath and the basin were not clean with a ring of scum. The room was superficially cleaned daily by very friendly and willing cleaners. Bed linen and towels changed regularly. 2 bottles of water daily was a plus. Nowhere to put hand soap by the basin which meant crossing the room to get soap? The design of the room not thought through. Mirrors so high you could barely see unless on tip toe and I’m average height.
Velvet chairs a hotel theme and not very practical for a tropical country.
The safe deposit box didn’t work and despite asking it remained the same.
The incessant piano music in the morning same reel which was eventually changed after I complained… the afternoon it changed to pop music but again the same reel… and no I did not want to be woken at 630 -7 every morning with piano music does anyone?
Cockroaches in the room …. When I complained I was given a spray.

Overall the hotel served its purpose of being close to my family.

The staff were very friendly and kind which I really appreciated.

Let me be honest here . I got around Rp 300.000 /night to stay here. Price wise, it is actually really cheap.

This hotel is located in a good location. Probably around 10-15 mins from airport. Also located exactly across from Mall Bali Galleria.

This hotel has a 5 stars requirements in their room.
Room is huge
Room has a huge bathroom as well
Room has bathtub but i didnt use it anyway
Even there used to be a tv in the bathtub

But…..
this hotel didnt maintain the hotel really well
So it looks like this hotel suppose to be a 5 stars hotel but turned into something else in the current moment.

So yeah dont expect too much
If its only for sleep and u re on the budget then go for it

The hotel is also really dark and dead at night , bit creepy i would say..

Very nice hotel, friendly staff also. Our room has a mini bathtub on it which is good. They serve buffet breakfast but limited choices of food, but it’s okay.
The hotel was accessible to the mall it is also near the place you can buy good bali stuff😉

I loved this resort clean, big rooms, awesome air conditioning, breakfast Yummo, staff are welcoming, bath, shower. 2 things advertised that I was disappointed about no pool bar if their was some atmosphere then it be good vibe and non working telephone to call room service this is so important when late night travel. Indomart is next door to grab something small to get you through the night and get mozzie spray, supermarket across the road just ask someone to slow down the traffic lol. I give this hotel 5 stay because it’s good but the vibes missing definitely will come stay again. Thanks for the stay :). Room 33

We arrived at the resort, 30 minutes before scheduled check in, to discover that as a couple, we had been given 2 single beds. They were then joined to allow us to try and sleep in the same bed.

On our way to our deluxe room, we were surprised to see towels on the floor of the hallways, soaking up the water leaking from the ceiling.

When we arrived at our room, the polite staff member dropped our bags. We were also greeted with a pungent smell of over used air freshener spray. We Aired the room out for 2 hours only to discover the fragrance was purely to cover up the smell of the mouldy aircoditioner.

After settling in we decided to head down to the pool for a couple of cold drinks and a swim to cool down. The pool was nice and the drinks were on the upper end of the price scale.

Before bed we decided to test out the shower. Although at first glance, the bathroom looked quite up market and modern, separated by mirrors from the main room, which were actuality repaired with a cheap non reflective foil. The shower was less then impressive. Plenty of room, but driven by a small water heater which only lasted about 10 minutes before it ran out of heat. This was quite disappointing as we found out that 10 minutes of low pressured hot water was not enough to fill up the bath, rendering it un-usable.

After 3 maintenance visits to try and rectify the water issue, we were finally moved rooms. The water in the second room was hotter, but lasted just as long. So we were unable to use the bath tub in the deluxe room that we had paid for.

The wifi connection in the rooms was very average. We could not get a consistent signal, even though we were less than 8 metres from the range booster. In the lobby and restaurant we had no problem.

Upon checking out, we decided to discuss these issues with the manager, as we felt like we had not received what we paid for.

Although we received a 20% discount on our drinks/laundry bill ($40) we were told that they are always looking to improve, but "sh*t happens".

Bad service. There's one unfriendly and rude scurity. FO's also full plan
His FBS can't communicate well either.
As the same hotelier has never disappointed this same hotel service. Not to mention its branding 4 stars. In terms of facilities, it is a 4 star because it is quite complete but from hygiene, staff service etc. not deserved 4 stars. The management should be able to provide training etc. so that the service is improved and not rotten so. the scrutiny is tough. rough scale .. very not helpful. as the hospitality industry should be able to better plan a good and friendly service.

Very cheap, close to airport. However, very old and tired, staff generally unhelpful, just don't care. Bad location, right on one of the busiest roads. Food was not the best, plan to catch a lot of taxis and eating out. Only other bonus was it was 2 doors down from BIMC.

This is a very nice hotel for a great price! It's not new, but it is very well appointed and unbeatable value. The room was huge and comfortable and the staff were friendly. When I woke up after a great night's sleep I didn't know where I was!
Would I come back? Absolutely yes!

We booked for two weeks thinking this resort would offer luxury unfortunately we was very disappointed. The hotel website is extremely deceptive making the digital images to look extremely attractive. However the reality is that the rooms have such shoddy work done it could be an actually health and safety risk.

Sometimes in life concepts aren't meant to be understood this building was definitely one of them. Lucky for us we broke up our trip and stayed at another hotel for a few nights and the gap in hotel quality was like from rags (grand mega resort) to (pan paffic hotel) riches.

I've broken down the individuals so those wishing to book this resort can decide for themselves.

The hotel room
We were unfortunately given a room that was above the main road. Avoid the room 124 at all costs. It's like sleeping on the M1 and 25 put together all hours of the night traffic zooming past. Acon didn't work patio doors that had a gap where the builders didn't have enough door so they could fully lock. If you gently push doors they swing outwards which is really dangerous consider these are supposed to be sliding doors. Flys and bugs easily get through we ended up getting bitten on first night with loads of bugs in our room. Had to complain about this up graded to another room that was just as bad but with a pool side view. The work man ship is a disgrace with poor design. Glass sheets separate toliet and shower mean you could have a see someone using the toliet at same time. Ants surrounding toliet area, dirty sheets and pillows. We had to ask most days for clean sheets only to discover that the replacementstress had stains or dirt on them. Asked for room to be sprayed because bugs were entering through another broken door but nothing was done ended up buying buguide spray ourselves to fumigation room everyday. Felt like bugs were in our room the whole time especially at night.

The pool area

Building design meant that only 10 sun loungers in the entire hotel to serve over 200 guests how does that work?. Don't even try sun bathing till 11am or 12 otherwise you'll be sitting in the shade. Bring your own toliet stuff hotel ones are roughly 10 years old with plenty of stains. They look and feel very old not even a charity shop would take em. The sun loungers were very dirty we saw bird droppings on the pillows really need replacing asap.

Pool looks bar is nice but many ants and wasps to keep you company. Drinks are very nice would recommend and staff are great.

Food
The food was ok with a mixture of all sorts. One thing that could of been improved was that nothing was covered to prevent flies from landing on the fruit. All in all we eat most times what was on offer.

Massage
Would recommend very cheap and professional staff.

Hotel Overview
Needs significant investment to bring resort up to scratch. Bearly a two star shame really because the front, reception and dinning area look very classy. The rooms are shoddy pool area to small and please consider purchasing new bed lining and towels customers shouldn't have to raise concens about the cleaning of rooms etc.

Would we rebook this resort? Definitely not we reconcise that in other countries 5 star actually means 3 but coming this is taking the biscuit, this resort bearly makes a 2 star. I'd say gave a long hard think before booking this hotel. Remember that the location it self is about 15 minutes drive from tourist attractions.
