I live in Jakarta, but decided to stayed in this hotel for a week while i was remote working, and kids were in virtual schooling.
The wifi was strong enough to support my back-to-back virtual meetings every day, and so were the kids during their online learnings. When my kid needed stationaries for his homework, I could easily walked to Bali Galleria Mall through connecting door to buy it.
All the hotel staffs were friendly, customer oriented and fast responded to any queries. The most important was, the covid-19 protocol were applied properly around the hotel.
When we wanted to go back to Jakarta, we needed to do a swab test, and there is a hospital just across the street.
Everything is very convenient!

Stayed here over the weekend and still remember the first time I walk through the white aesthetic stairs and the luxury lobby style with gold and white accent. I like how smooth the check in process is and getting your refreshing welcome drink on arrival is something that you really need after took a full day trip. I stayed in a premier pool view which has a pool view from the balcony, I love how the room is pretty well organzied and complete with essential amenities. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Special thanks to Selly ( the restaurant team ) and chef Oka who recommended me to try the signature dish Fillet Ikan Bakar Jimbaran and The Au Nori Asam Padeh, those are the best signature dish that I ever tried and I definitely love it.

I have stayed in this hotel several times when the hotel name was Ibis Styles, then changed to D’Varee Diva and now it’s Episode Kita. For a budget hotel the facilities, location (attached to our favorite Mall: Bali Galeria!) really worth it! But I was hoping they could add more amenities such as: facial tissues/kleenex on the side desk, spare toilet paper, tv channel list, change the green tosca cushion on the sofa because it looks very old.
Love that they have Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network on the channels, give me some time to rest and relax while my kid enjoying watching cartoon 😀
What I love about the room is they have wide water sink table to put all my toiletteries and skin care, making tea and wash the plates, glass.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. To start with the location, unless you intend to visit the mall everyday there is no restauranrs/warangs nearby. The room was small, the bathroom and toilet was stained and very outdated. I requested late check out and was quoted a price and kept asking the hotel on arrival and daily to confirm. After asking again on my last day they said no. I was left in an uncomfortable situation, left my bags in storage and asked if we could shower when collecting our bags. When we collected our bags and asked for towels, they could not provide us towels to showe at the pool. Lastly the restaurant breakfast was shocking, so little variety, just eggs and one type of sausage. They were short of milk, butter and even bread. We ended up eating breakfast outside the hotel

Dear LesterM671, Greetings from Episode Kuta Bali...... Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Firstly, we would apologize for everything that was not met your expectations. Let me just clarify a bit about your concerns. First, regarding the room. If you were traveling with 4 people we suggest you book a Family suite. It is a more comfortable and larger room than your current room. Second, regarding the late check-out charges. Yes, we charge all guests who require a late check-out after 13.00 pm. It is supposed to charge at 450k (50% of room charge ) until 18.00 however we give you below than supposed charge. It was 350k that we require you to pay for a late check out until 18.00 pm. Third, regarding the towels at the pool. We provide towels for those wishing to swim and shower at the pool. It is placed on the pool bar counter just beside the pool. The last one is regarding breakfast. It is on request if you need more choices for the Western selection on breakfast. Our Breakfast is mostly Indonesian Food however we also provide the western selection and could be on request to get more variants of western selection. Overall, we will do some evaluations and reviews regarding all the things that were not met the standard. And we thank you very much for your input. I live in Bali and I've passed this hotel many times before since it was first known as the Ibis Styles Kuta Circle and later D'Varee Diva Kuta, and this was my first time ever staying in this property. We arrived at around 11 in the night and found out that the hotel's front was being renovated. When I first saw this I thought the hotel was closed but the security said it was still open so we headed straight down to the basement to go up to the lobby since the main entrance was temporarily closed. Check in was quick as we arrived here at night and there was only one guy in the front desk. Staffs were friendly.
The room was nice and large, with a small kitchenette-like area right in front of the bathroom. The toilet and the shower stall is separated from each other (not in one room) which I personally not a fan of this layout, but it doesn't really matter since we only stayed for one night. Our room is facing the swimming pool, the balcony is a bit small but it's still okay for you to step out a bit to get some fresh air. Didn't see any cleanliness issues though, so I would say the room was clean.
The location is pretty good. In fact, the hotel is connected with Mal Bali Galeria through the back door which leads you out to the mall's parking garage.
An interesting thing that I noticed during my stay is that it seems that this property has changed name very recently. I found several stuffs that bear the old names of the hotel in my room, such as the teacups that has the Ibis Styles name on the bottom and the room key cover which bears the D'Varee Diva name.
Overall this is a very nice hotel and I recommend it.

This is not my first time stay here but this is my first time i think i need to write a review. Everytime i check in i always meet very humble reception, give me a welcome drink and please me and my son to sit down waiting for check in time. But today i meet Diah, very rude reception, she is not offer me a sit or welcome drink, she even no smile and no greeting when i come until i give my ID. She play a bad gesture to the costumer And i feel not comfortable so im going to the mall first. I come 1.30 pm and i know check in at 2 pm i can wait, but until 2.30 pm she is not give me room and my cranky baby hot in lobby. If I'm not go to her desk i think she forget me. I'm asking why she is very rude but she deny it and never say sorry and not looking to my face when i complain for her bad service. I know this is a new management hotel with good pool, good room, good location but please improve your staff quality in front office. Coz now I'm in the mood to continue my very short vacation because of her. Thank you

The hotel is good. Fortunately there were some rooms being remodeled when I stayed there, so by the sound of renovating, everyday I woke up by 9am, just like what I do on work days. The staff were also nice that they said sorry to me, but could not give any help.
Sincerely, this hotel is really good. If you are looking for a place that keeps you live in a regular and healthy way, even if you are in Bali, yes, this hotel is a good choice. When you see this comment, maybe the construction has been done, however, you can still book it, and I won’t.

Worst hotel ever. Never in my life have I stayed in a "Jr. Suite" with NO WINDOWS!
Only 1 star due to the location. Close to the shopping mall.
Hotel room really not up to standard.
1. lack of places to hang stuff, no hooks for towels , jacket, clothes etc.
2. Nothing in the room but shampoo, bath gel and toilet paper. No toothbrushes, no tissue, no handsoap. And this is a Jr. Suite.
3. Don't even have a shelf to put toiletries in the shower. Got to leave them outside the toilet.
4. Zero drawers, 1 wardrobe with 2 hangers and 2 bathrobes one small cupboard under the TV. A few shelves which doesn't help solve the issue of clutter and keeping your stuff out of sight for house keeping.
5. Fridge, kinda useless. (I.e. if you have medicine to store, it's not going to do the job)
6. Air conditioning doesn't reach the living room area.
7. Insufficient places to open your luggage. I had to use the sofa and the table above the fridge because I have 4 bags.
8. Breakfast is disappointing. Food not fresh.
9. Isn't a designated place to pick up and drop off. During peak periods, prepare to run in and out of the car since it is blocking 1 lane of a 2 lane road.
Overall, they really didn't think of the guest when designing the room. Looks nice from the outside, but space is very inefficient, especially for long term stays. If u plan to stay for a couple of nights, and live out of the suitcase then it will work. But if you want a longer stay, and want to unpack and call this home, please go somewhere else.
Ps. I booked from trip.com and it was stated the room had windows.
