I have no choice but to stay at this place due to I am so exhausted & tired to continue walking. The price is moderate for one room. The Wifi is little slow but I have no problem with it. I only have one problem which is the toilet is a bit dirty & filthy. It's okay for a one...

There are 2 taman mekar inns, this review is for the one right on poppies lane (not the one in the alley with gora) The staff was probably the best part of the stay. They were really friendly, helpful and even arranged a ride to the airport for a pretty good price (after a small negotiation though). Room had no...

I enjoy my trip to Taman Mekar. The staff were always smiling and friendly to me. Always wanting to know what I'm up to and stories about my home country and my travels. The rooms are fairly standard for Kuta. I didn't expect luxury for what I was paying but it was definitely good enough for me. I knew a...

Absolutely impossible to sleep in the night: the sound of discos is everywhere. Rooms are poor, internet not good, bed sheets not clean. Bath is Ok, there's hot water. Breakfast is ordinary. And you have to know that there're 2 hotels with the same name "Taman Mekar Beach Inn" right next to each other! One of them is so-so, another...

Arrived exhausted in a hot afternoon, we decided to go to the closest accommodation we see. It was Taman Mekar II Beach Inn which located on Poppies Lane 2, in the same alley as Gora and Warung Coco 2. Asked the receptionist for the price per night, it was 125K/room/night. Plus breakfast and WiFi. (Cheap!!) We then asked to see...

Sometimes you just need a little bit of comfort and that is what this place provides. At RP200,000 it's a little bit more expensive that other places in Poppies 2 but it's great value for money. I stayed in an aircon room with super comfy double bed and soft pillows, the ensuite bathroom has hot water. Always a luxury. Location...

The staff were very rude and unhelpful. Rooms were average but appalling staff attitude means we would not stay again and would definitely not recommend to anyone. Plenty of other better options in kuta.

Stayed in November 2012 and paid IDR 150.000/night. With IDR 150.000 you can get a standart room in another hotel with more facility, e.g. Dua Dara inn with swimming pool facility, or you can pay IDR 160.000 in Cempaka II Inn for a standart room with air conditioning. If you are looking for a quite room, then don't book this...
