We spent one night here but could have easily stayed for longer. We were impressed with the location, being right in the main part of town but very quiet and peaceful while in our villa. The villa was a generous size, with an amazing bathroom with huge shower and bath. The bed was very comfortable with mosquito net. Staff came to fog for mosquitos outside. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be recommending this villa and look forward to returning sometime.
A beautiful little villa resort that offers privacy and a place to rest and relax in the middle of the noisy and buzzing Kuta neighborhood. The (deluxe ?) villas are well maintained and offer great features and amenities (e.g. Bose speakers and a fancy coffee maker). The living area and bedroom of our villa were not connected though. Breakfast is being served according to personal specifications at your private terrace - quality of the food is great, portions could be a little bit bigger perhaps. There’s a fully functional kitchen with all necessary tools and a large refrigerator. The garden area with the decently sized pool is nicely designed and totally secluded - thus offering privacy and a place to spend a relaxed day. A light insect repellent is being provided at the villa but I still recommend to bring your own (e. g. anything DEET 50% based) to fight off the swarms of aggressive mosquitoes. The staff is extremely attentive, friendly and caring. All in all a clear recommendation for those who seek a quiet luxury retreat within one of Bali’s prime nightlife locations.…
Stayed in a gorgeous 1 bedroom pool villa. Villa offers privacy and is beautifully appointed. Pool area is amazing. Feels like you're in paradise. Staff are incredibly accommodating, warm and always happy to assist with requests. I could not fault anything within this accommodation. Huge extra large bed Beautiful bathroom including double tub for soaking Seating area inside villa Perfect area outside for sitting Lounge chairs by a sparkling, good sized pool.
If you are looking for a family-friendly vacation spot, then Alaya Dedaun Kuta is the place to be. Alaya Dedaun offers the best of Bali's experience under one roof. The villa offers you a "close to nature" experience while you are located in the central of Kuta. Not to mention that it is a lot easier for you to get your food delivered to the front door here at Alaya. The premises are very well maintained and cleaned regularly. This is our second time back this year to this villa for another long period of stay. When we decided to go back to Bali, we didn't think twice about going back to Alaya. We know we will have a great time. I want to give a shout out to the friendly staff there, Miss Dwi, Pak Edi, Miss Ayu, and Ibu Dewi for providing my family the best time in Bali. Especially to Miss Dwi and Pak Edi who assisted my family living there in our daily life. The last thing that I want to mention, the reason why this is a family-friendly Villa is that the staff there treat my family like their own.. we feel very safe there particularly during the covid era, they have taken care, my family like we are one of theirs, to that I want to say thank you Alaya..…
Our long stay at Alaya Villa was perfect. Our villa was spotlessly clean on arrival and very well maintained. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the pool's water temperature was perfect. I highly recommend Alaya to those who need a peaceful, amazing, and relaxing holiday. Although located in the centre of Legian the property was very quiet and your private pool and garden provide your private sanctuary. I was working remotely when I was there and luckily their internet connection and speed was the best that we ever use in Bali compared to any villa and any 5-star hotel that we have stayed previously. It really made my work easier with all the zoom meeting that I have to attend The staff is very warm, they always treat us with a warm smile, we know it even they use a mask on their face, anytime we need some help, they always help us quickly. I would like to give a big shout out to Ms Dwi, who made our stay there very special. She is very friendly, helpful and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Next for sure, we will back to this villa, we also would recommend to our family and friend, as well as everyone who is thinking of a long stay in Bali. Thank you, Ms Dwi and everyone at Alaya!! Hopefully, we will be back soon..…
Alaya Dedaun was my hubby 1st choice with a private pool all for us .. overall our stay was enjoyable and pleasant. Time flies when you are having fun. Definitely we would love to come back to Bali again . Thanks Alaya Dedaun for making our stay a memorable moments for us. Location - 4/5 Its walking distance to all clubs, convenient store and restaurants. Do avoid travelling in car due to heavy traffic . Rooms - 5/5 Rooms are perfect, same as seen in the website. Ours was 2 bedroom villa, its spacious. Pool was awesome, kids enjoyed every moment. Its cleaned . Staff - 5/5 All the staffs are welcoming, smiling all time. Service are prompt. The Resident Manager - Ms Dewi, she is helpful and prompt. Always checking with us if theres anything we needed help with. There was a minor setback during our breakfast however after feedback to Ms Dewi, she gave us a surprise of chocolate cake and complimentary BBQ dinner for my family. Housekeeping 5/5 Villa were net and clean. Turndown service daily during our stay for 5nights . Service were prompt whenever we requested Food 5/5 Food was awesome. Location- 5/5 - All amenities within walking distance from the resort. Plenty of food options for Indians as well as vegetarians around the hotel. All busy areas like Kuta, Seminyak and beaches within walking distance (if you don't mind walking for 20-40 mins while taking breaks between all the local bars, pubs and shops spread across the road) Rooms- 5/5 - The room was exactly as shown in the pictures. The pool was amazing and was cleaned multiple times whenever requested Housekeeping and staff- 5/5 - All the staff were welcoming and smiling at all the time and services were prompt Spa- 5/5 - The Dala spa was excellent. The complimentary foot massage upon arrival was very relaxing. However, seeing the rates, we decided to try a spa outside in the streets, however, noting the difference, we went for the Dala spa any case and it was fantastic Food- 3.5/5 - There were very few options comparatively for vegetarians. However, we only had the complimentary breakfast and managed the rest of the meals around thanks to the location Overall, it was a wonderful stay and would definitely comeback if visiting Bali again.…
My wife and I loved this villa. We arrived late to DPS and they had a driver waiting to scoop us from the airport. Upon arrival to the property we were greeted with a refreshing beverage and a cool towel and then they toured the villa with us and outlined all of the amenities. Each morning breakfast was included and delivered to our villa (or you can take it in the restaurant) as well as afternoon tea. Both of which were of top notch. I definitely recommend taking advantage of the breakfast. The private pool was fantastic and the location was great. This property has a secluded tropical feel that is a short walk to the busy Kuta streets. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Bali!
Just a disclaimer that I’ve paid for all my trips on my own, so this is for sure not a promotional piece. First time I stayed with Alaya chain was with Alya Ubud, in Sep, 2015. It was recommended by a friend for its proximity to yoga barn. I was not super impressed by the facilities however the quality of spa really stunned me. Had a great time in Bali so decided to come back in Jun, 2016. We stayed at Alaya Ubud again and the experience was very nice. Then in Apr 2018, we returned to Bali and we stayed at Alaya Dedaun. It was very pleasant-other than the bats visiting pool at our villa during evening time. The quality of spa remained immaculate. Staff were all friendly and willing to help. We made quite a few requests and were all met without trouble. Therefore, we decided to return for Christmas this year. Honestly I did have my doubts after reading the previous comments about theft incidence and unsatisfying housekeeping. However, based on my previous pleasant experiences with Alaya, I’m willing to give Alaya Dedaun benefit of the doubt and need to see it with my own eyes. We stayed in Alaya Dedaun from Dec 25th to 28th . It was magnificent as ever. SPA offered the best Balinese massage I ever had (been to other five stars spas and trust me, the price they charge and quality delivered is unmatched with Dala spa in Alaya) Housekeeping is good. Breakfast is fulfilling and delicious. December seems to be the low season in Bali so it is fairly quiet everywhere. We had a very relaxing time in our villa. Alaya Dedaun does have its own flaws. Say for housekeeping, we still see quite a lot of ants going around. Every time we call front desk with more than one requests, usually only the first one or two will be fulfilled. For breakfast, the first two days were late for 20 mins and the last day, it was delivered right on time but you can totally tell the food was prepared quite ahead. Therefore we sent the food back to the kitchen. However I think Alaya Dedaun still deserves the name “Kuta’s little secret.” If you are looking for a peaceful place in downtown Kuta with your own pool, Alaya Dedaun is your go-to. It is a very boutique hotel so don’t expect the usual facilities you get with big resorts such as variety of room service, giant public pool (there is none), and private beach. It is more like a get-a-away from city life but with the adjacency to restaurants, stores, and even watering holes. Definitely come feel the intimacy and hospitality!…
I hate to leave a poor review but I have NEVER stayed in such a filthy property. Our first impression of our room was very positive. It was large and the private swimming pool looked inviting. Unfortunately I immediately noticed how grubby everything was. There were stains on the sofa, rugs and decorative pillows and stains on the complimentary robes. All of the walls were dirty. The furniture including coffee table and chairs had obviously not been wiped clean in a long long time. I immediately went to the bed to see if there were fresh linens and they appeared to be clean. It was late and we were exhausted so decided to stay as it was just a two night stopover before a diving trip in Sulewasi. As I inspected the rest of the suite I found that the windows were dirty, the lighting was dim and light bulbs like one above the sink needed to be replaced. The floor looked like it hadn't been properly vacuumed or washed in a while. The corners of the rooms were disgusting and it was obvious that no one had vacuumed under the bed for a while. The bathroom was really bad. The walk in shower had a thick coat of soap scum on the inside and numerous splatters of god knows what were on the outside and on the walls. All of the refillable bottles containing soap, body wash and conditioners were filthy and half full. The cubbies were the bottles rested were filthy. The granite had crusted debris on it. There were several hanging lights made of hundreds of pieces of shells, like wind chimes, and they looked like they had never ever been washed. They were very dusty. Even the baskets for holding things like TV remotes and towels were dirty. The towels were of poor quality and the "fresh" flowers in the room looked like they were 3 days old. It would have been better to have none. We left for the day to tour around the town and head to the beach. When we got back to the room we were surprised by a "cleaning" crew of 4 men. They had cleaning supplies so I assumed they had finally cleaned the room. They left right away and to my dismay it looked like all they did was make the bed. UG. As a side note the "Restaurant" was a terrible joke. No one else was there but we waited for the waiter to bring us menus. He brought one menu to my husband. I asked for a menu and he told me they only had the one menu. That one menu was old and stained. We washed our hands - it was disgusting. We had massages which were fine but the "essential" oils had no fragrance I almost wondered if it wasn't cooking oil. Beware this property…
