We had a great stay at this hotel - very satisfied on all fronts. The rooms are super comfortable and clean. The hotel has a new and modern feel. There is a very good variety of tv channels even during pandemic time. Our room looked onto the catholic church and pool - it was a delight to hear the choir practising their christmas carols. We were not disturbed by music from the lippo mall (as other reviews mentioned) - with the balcony door closed not at all disturbing and in any case ended by 9pm. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool and pool area are very comfortable. All in all a great place to stay. The breakfast menu while good, was more suited to Indonesian tastes but understandable at this time because almost all guests were domestic.

The hotel is very close to the airport. 10 mins in traffic , 4 mins if no traffic. My first room i woke up with bites over the days in that room, i asked to move and there was no problem. Rooms are spacious & staff are very thorough with cleaning - which was a relief as we were here during the Coronavirus outbreak. I downloaded an app call my bluebird, this is a taxi service that will come to the hotel and take you where you need to Be. This is the best way to get a taxi without conned. They will happily pick you up from the door of the hotel no problem. The hotel offered a buffet breakfast to which i paid for however during the Coronavirus outbreak the hotel saw a decline in guest , so they put on a ‘gourmet’ breakfast which annoyed me as i asked for a sample of two and got told no , the waitress was rude and her attitude was appalling, she made me feel uncomfortable as she kept staring at me . I was here for 15 nights & felt uncomfortable in her presence. I did not want to report the manager as she had already contacted them , but i never got a response, so i thought i would ignore the latter and enjoy my holiday. I had room service several times to which was nice and good quality I found the staff constantly asking for my room number, constantly asking if i was checking out , telling me where i could and could not sit - i felt like i was constantly getting pestered. The pool / towel / maintenance man was lovely he was not a pest and was such a lovely man. The hotel is surrounded by white doves that like to go next door to the church - which was nice. If you wanted to stay here i would advise no longer than 1 night , as it would be ideal to get to and from the airport.

We had a wonderful stay at this Hotel for 9 days. All the staff were excellent & very helpful. We were there during a very difficult time, when the travel bans came into affect , but still received excellent service. After our 2nd day, the breakfast changed from buffet to menu but it really didn’t change anything. They still made what you wanted. We booked a standard room on the 2nd floor. The room was lovely. Very nice furniture, space & was very clean. The pool area was very nice. We will definitely stay here again.

This is an incredible boutique hotel right in the heart of Kuta. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and polite, and always have a smile. The hotel is very close to shopping malls, food outlets, supermarkets and 10 minutes from the airport. They offer a free airport collection and drop off service, which is great. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious well equipped, with a mini fridge, TV, sitting area, and was right next to the pool, accessed right outside our double rear door. The pool was beautiful, and clean, with lush surroundings. The hotel is not large, but beautiful. They have a restaurant and a bar, and offer massages. The prices are also reasonable. Overall we highly recommend staying here.

Last stayed at The Vira in November 2019 and we were back again for a week in March 2020. Love this hotel which feels like a second home. Staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Rooms and hotel grounds are spotlessly clean and the shower is so good (better than mine at home). We usually stay in the same room each time on the second floor overlooking the pool. There can be some noise from the music across the road at night, but it always finishes on time at 10pm. Lippo Mall is directly across the road, with Gold Class cinema. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next stay there.
