Amazing experience being in the Strand Villa by the beachfront. Butler service is top notch, no wait time as they anticipated all of our needs. Breakfast is world class. Lagoon swim os beautiful. Daily fruits of Bali served. Great quality of shirt pressing, and amazing coffee service. Will definitely return.
We stayed at St Regis Bali from 18-23 June 2022 for our wedding with 12 members of our family. We knew the St Regis from a previous trip to Nusa Dua in 2015, but this time it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived in the lobby we were made to feel so welcome and nothing was a problem for the wonderful staff at the hotel. Our first room was a Garden View Suite on the 6th floor of the main hotel. The room was huge with a large and comfortable living area, sleeping area and bathroom (including a bath with TV view or view off the balcony). You have all the amenities you could think of in the room:- food and drink, complimentary sun hats and bag (to keep), toiletries, headed paper and envelopes and daily treats complimentary of the hotel. A nightly turn down service is included with daily sweet treats left in your room. Laundry service was easy and prompt. We really didnt think it could get any better. As part of the wedding package, we moved to a Strand Villa for the wedding day and day after. Wow. What a place. A huge living area, bedroom and bathroom. Complete with your own beautiful garden, pool, gazebo and rain shower. And that view as you walk directly on to the beach from your own private residency. The sense of privacy and luxury is incredible. On the wedding day, Katie and I were treated like royalty. What a stunning set up on the beach outside our Strand Villa with white and yellow frangipani flowers and petals on the beach. Security kept the beach area private for the ceremony and it was perfect with traditional balinese rindik music and a sound system provided for bride's entrance and couple's exit music. The reception was at Cloud 9 Deck Area with a bespoke menu provided by the head chef including spinach and ricotta tortellini, tuna and octopus salad, slipper lobster broth, wagyu steak, red snapper and chocolate cake. The setting in front of the chapel was like something from a film complete with overhead lightbulb strings. Wow. We returned to the Strand Villa to an exquisite petal bath and a lovely message and gift from our wedding Butler, Artawan. The whole experience was magical. The service from all of the staff from day 1 was exceptional: I had been in regular contact with Luluk, the resort's events manager by email and whatsapp before we travelled and she was the real driving force behind our stay at the St Regis and our wedding. Everything we wanted or needed, Luluk made sure it happened. She made us and our families so welcome and it felt like we were the number one priority at all times. We cannot thank her enough and are so grateful for the pictures we have with Luluk during the wedding and when she came to say goodbye when we transferred to our honeymoon hotel. Thank you for everything Luluk. Artawan did everything we asked of him on the wedding day. He was an absolute star. Sofiyan and Aris looked after us at breakfast and throughout the days. Special Balinese breakfasts were prepared individually for us at the request of the staff on a bespoke basis (not even on the menu) and it was such an amazing experience to eat traditional balinese food recommended by the wonderful staff. The food... how am I so far in to this review without mentioning the food. We ate at Dulang (traditional Balinese set menu), Gormand Deli and Kayaputi. We honestly didn't eat anything that wasn't delicious. Kayaputi is a special restaurant and is desrving of all the awards it has won and is no doubt going to win in the future. Perfect setting, service and food. Breakfast was in the Boneka restaurant and you could honestly eat enough at breakfast to fill you for the day, if you wanted to. A selection of continental breakfasts (buffet) and a la carte options. The coffee was beautiful. The beach is by far the best beach we visited in Bali. Despite being a piblic beach, you honestly feel that it is private. It is huge with immaculate white sand and a slight slope into the sea provides the same effect as an infinity pool. Cold towels and water provided as complimentary and service whenever you need anything. One of my favourite parts of the resort is the huge salt water lagoon. You could spend hours there to just relax and unwind in paradise. And I can't not mention the award winning spa. We had a couples honeymoon massage and loved every second of the two hour treatment. Again, it is not hard to see why it has won the awards it has done. Overall, we had the most wonderful time at St Regis Bali. We always knew we would cherish memories of our wedding day, but St Regis Bali exceed all our expections and then some. We cannot thank Luluk and her team enough. The best hotel we have ever stayed in and it will certainly take some beating. We cannot wait to be back!…
A huge fan of Marriott properties! The service is always impeccable and beats your expectation! My husband and I planned a little getaway trip from the city and away from the kids, just to spend some time in nature and relax. The St Regis was the perfect place just for that. The Nusa Dua area is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and relaxing time. The villa we booked was spacious, clean and very well maintained. The private pool was a huge highlight and we spent every morning and evening in there. Service was also excellent. The staff are very well trained and professional.
It‘s a fantastic place. The service is amazing, food outstanding and our pool villa with beach access was everything we wished for. If something is not 100%, staff will be doing their utmost to rectify immediately. I have stayed at various places in Bali and even the Nusa Dua region, but St. Regis beats all and in my view boasts the best stretch of beach there is.
I stayed here in room 610 (a king suite with garden view) for five nights in January 2023. Rating: 9.5/10 Positives: • Absolutely incredible service: easily the best I've experienced at a hotel or resort. I interacted with dozens of staff and every single person was delightful. When I left, five or six different employees walked me out to my waiting car, stood in a line, thanked me, and bowed – is this what being a celebrity feels like?) • I booked the smallest room type and yet it was still cavernous and outfitted to the brim with amenities and enchanting local design elements. It was also very clean and serviced impeccably each day (and night). • The grounds were clearly designed in such a way as to make this resort paradise (they succeeded) • The food was fantastic. Room service was quick, reasonable, and exquisite and the daily breakfast with its limitless offerings of the likes of seared foie gras, egg nouvelle, and watermelon juice was unforgettable • The Iridium Spa featured affordable and best-in-class services. I enjoyed a 90-minute deep tissue massage one night and a 60-minute reflexology treatment on another night. Both appointments entitled me to access the sauna, steam room, and "aqua spa" (an 11-step salt water circuit of massaging jets + a cold plunge pool). I had these facilities to myself on both occasions! Negatives (such is my affection for the resort that I state these merely in the interest of being thorough): • On one morning I walked out onto my balcony and, closing the door behind me, realized the malfunctioning lock on the door had latched automatically! I tried to pick the lock for some time before resorting to call the hotel (fortunately I had my phone!). Unfortunately, because it was still in the morning and I had not yet left my room, my room door was also dead-bolted and latched! It took the very apologetic staff an hour to get in and rescue me. I was not initially offered any credit for this experience but when I brought it up at check-out, the manager gave me a fair discount on one of the nights. • One thing I struggled with a bit was understanding the layout of the resort and how to navigate from one spot to another. A map at check-in would have been welcome. • I enjoyed the gym on a few occasions but found it a bit small – only two treadmills, one of which crashed for me partway through a workout…
There is nothing even slightly critical I can say about this resort other than the staff are over-attentive. The service and accommodations were top-notch. The meals were delicious. The villa was impeccable. The spa was luxurious. Our only disappointment was that Kayuputi was not open due to the G20 but we did have an intimate experience at Dulang. The staff at Boneka were also amazing. Our stay was a once in a lifetime experience and will be hard to top.
My husband and I stayed at the St. Regis for 6 days and it was incredible. Our private villa was perfect, extremely clean, a lovely outside with our own plunge pool. Service thru out the resort is impeccable. Anything you might want or need is taken care of promptly. The beach is spread out so you don’t feel squeezed and the pools are endless and super clean. We had massages which exceeded our expectations. Beautiful facility. The was fresh, delicious and plentiful. There is not a single thing to complain about. I just wish I lived closer to Bali. A magical paradise!
Stunning and amazing are just a couple of words i can come up with but fall well short of how truly amazing this resort is! It was our first time staying at the resort and going to Bali. From the time we booked until the time we got to the airport to leave the service was beyond our wildest imagination. We spent 6 days at the resort to celebrate a birthday and anniversary and upon arrival everyone made sure to congratulate us on both. The room was one of the nicest we have stayed in, with comfortable bedding and amazing amenities. The food and service at the resort was sooooo good and we loved how at every restaurant everyone greeted you by name and would continually bring items just to try. The property grounds and beach make the resort truly relaxing. We will definitely recommend this resort to anyone going to Bali and have already told so many people of our out of this world experience.…
Booked Gardenia Villa for 4 nights' stay. We were greeted at the immigration at the airport and aided all the way to custom declaration. Hotel transfer was smooth and check in was fast. Assigned a butler throughout the stay. All the staff were attentive and keen to serve, from housekeeping to restaurants. Definitely deserve five star rating for service. Our villa was very near the pool and it was quiet most of the time which made for easy swimming. Ample deck chairs on the beach for lounging and beach was quite clean. So far, St Regis has done a great job in keeping us happy. Looking forward to stay in their other hotels/ resorts in future.
The St. Regis Bali is the most exquisite establishment in Nusa Dua. The property is extremely private and small scaled unlike other mega resorts in the area. The gardens and lagoons that flow effortlessly through the property are absolutely stunning. The lagoon villa we stayed in was magnificent and maintained with the upmost care. Dazzling chandeliers and elegant furnishings along with tasteful interiors create the most luxurious experience. Lagoon villas are equipped with a private pool, and also feature direct entrance to the public saltwater lagoon pool. Describing the villa as spacious is simply an understatement, apart from the main quarters, the villa includes sleeping and bathroom facilities for staff, should you be bringing any. Butler service is a signature at all St. Regis hotels and the butlers here are extremely professional, always thinking ahead and taking the extra step to please its customers. It comes at no surprise that the head butler Carlos, is also the head butler of St. Regis in Asia Pacific. Carlos came to check on us almost every day of our stay, a fine gentlemen. Breakfast at Boneka is the most extravagant affair, they will serve anything you desire and top it with caviar. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating, many of them personally introduced themselves, asked how we would like to be addressed and then remembered our coffee, juice preferences for our entire stay. On top of their already extensive a la carte menu and buffet offerings, they also have a secret menu, so best befriend your server to be let into the inner circle. The spa and fitness center offered a variety of amenities, infrared sauna, steam room, and a 11 step aqua vitale hydrotherapy pool. Treatment rooms were beautifully decorated and therapists had great technique. Spa receptionists always greatest us with the most brilliant smile. We also enjoyed the 2 hour complimentary bicycle rentals to explore the nearby neighborhood. The beach area was always immaculately maintained and staff were always available to set up your chairs or take your order. The sunrise views from the beach are mesmerizing. Overall a truly exceptional stay, everyone we interacted with seemed to enjoy and were proud of their job. Management, present at all times and quick to respond and take care of any issues. We enjoyed our stay at the grand dame of Bali!…
