We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. The apartment in Blk 305 is nice as the balcony faces the boundary with trees and plants. We felt nature surrounds us, it was so quiet and peaceful, albeit until some guests moved in on the upper level and talked loudly :- ( We were there 7 nights and really just wanted to chill out, not to go sightseeing as we have been to Bali many times and visited all the tourist spots. This new Marriott Vacation Club resort is better than the Gardens. As it is in the same grounds as the Renaissance, the hotel facilities, especially the restaurants, are a short walk away. Staff are generally helpful and nice, except for a hiccup with check-in. Here, the ‘can’t check in till 3 pm’ is strictly adhered to, regardless of whether the apartment is ready. At other Marriott Vacation resorts, the staff would do their best to check in guests early, if an apartment is ready. As for the apartment amenities, the basics are there. We did not bother to cook so we did not care much about the the cooking equipment. Nonetheless, I could see the kitchen is not as well equipped as the Phuket Marriot Vacation Club resort, nor as well maintained, despite this being a fairly new development.…
1. Change hot tub, sauna, steam room's cloding hours to 10pm and opening hours to 7am 2. Provide lifevest at the beach, manual for induction cooker, fruit peeler, protection cover for exhaust, dry function for dishwasher 3. Change outside view from the gym
We stayed in the vacation. Club part with our own lounge and kitchen but shares facilities with the hotel The room was amazing , comfortable with a plunge pool The hotel pools were excellent, staff so polite and helpful The restaurants also excellent and good value- wine was expensive but that’s not the hotel ripping us off it’s just how it is There was a bus to the beach with sun beds at the beach Lots of local things to do if you want a walk round Highly recommend
We as a family of four had a good time here at the Marriott Nusa Dua Terrace (renaissance) Hotel (room 3052). However as we’ve travelled with friends who also booked the same apartment villa (2 single + 1 king bed + living room with 2 bath rooms with outdoor privat pool patio), weren’t that lucky (3055, 3053, 3054). Smelly suers and issues in the brand new hotel, which opened Nov. 2022, were disappointing. Problems couldn’t be resolved quickly and no other rooms were available to change. No compensation offered! The hotel complex was fully booked. So the breakfast in peak times between 09:00 - 11:00am is overwhelmed. Staff can’t keep up with the demand of refilling and serving guests. Therefore the level of service and customer experience drops to lowest levels of guests expectations. Also if you’ve paid additional for breakfast, you will realize that you’ve shouldn’t. As nobody will check your room number when being seated for breakfast. So no need to pay for breakfast ;-)… The food quality is acceptable but not close to any 5 star hotel level. More like a 3+ star hotel. Rooms are clean with basic amenities provided. Pool service is not existing, you e to chase after the staff to get what you’re looking for. Hotel management has to step-up the level of offered quality with hiring more staff for service and maintenance and all over customer experience. For now this hotel shall be rated as max. 4 star hotel. You may think for other alternatives to book your vacation until Marriott managed to bring up the hotel to customer expectation levels.…
My family stayed here about 1 week after it officially opened. We stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment. We enjoyed a lot of the amenities at the Renaissance (including meals, pool, kids club and spa) but there are plenty of reviews for those at the Renaissance page, so I'll focus my review on this specific property. The Terrace apartments are garden-style apartments (4 apartments per building) placed throughout the sprawling, hilly property of the Renaissance. Check-in occurs at the Renaissance lobby, where we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and informed of the many amenities available to us - these included a daily 1 million IDR (USD$67) food/beverage credit per guest (so 4M for our family daily) and a complimentary 60-minute massage for each adult guest. Breakfast was complimentary, so we actually never used up our food/bev credit! The massage was heavenly - the Renaissance spa is top notch. After check-in, we were taken to our apartment in a buggy. We had a ground floor apartment with the plunge pool on the outdoor balcony. The kitchen was well-appointed with an electric kettle, pots/pans, dishes, glassware, coffee pot, and even coffee/tea. We only stayed for 2 nights so we only used the kettle and some mugs/glasses. There is also a hairdryer, iron/ironing board, and washing machine. Be warned that the washing machine is finicky - there is only one reliable setting for wash+dry. I don't think it has a dry-only setting at all. The bathroom was spacious with a very large shower, toilet with handspray, and a wide sink. The king bed was very comfortable, and the staff set up the sleeper sofa upon request. The outdoor balcony was great for having my morning coffee, and my kids loved the pool. The only downside is that the pool was a little cold. The Renaissance pools are so nice that we hardly used our apartment's pool, which is really more for sitting/relaxing. Be warned that a ground floor apartment may mean that you'll have some of nature's harmless friends visiting (like a spider in the shower or frog in the pool!). My friend stayed on the first floor and had no issues with bugs. Overall, we all had amazing time and were very sorry to leave this property. The staff were very friendly, and the facilities at the apartment and Renaissance were top-notch.…
