The hotel was new, there are some building that are not available yet. All in one package we got free dinner lunch bfast afternoon tea even a free spa The service was very good we also got a complimentary flower bath and cake for our honeymoon trip
We stayed 2 nights in early June 2022. Family with two young kids. Only one wing was open and some parts of the resort was still under construction - however this did not impact our stay at all (not noisy or dusty, and all amenities were available for use). STAFF - Hands down one of the friendliest service we received during our 3 week stay in Bali. Our travel style is to change hotels every 2-3 nights (mostly 5 star, occasionally 4.5 star) so we definitely had enough comparison. Staff friendliness at Renaissance Nusa Dua was comparable to Four Seasons Jimbaran. We stayed at The Apurva Kempinski afterwards, but staff friendliness level was only half that of Renaissance. Everyone greeted you with genuine smiles and chats. For example, we mistakenly thought a few of the Backstage restaurant waiters to be the Manager because of the sincerity and level of service (I think we saw the real Manager once who had no issue clearing plates off our table so we mistook him for just a nice waiter...haha). FOOD - So tasty, and price reasonable. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Breakfast spread was amazing. Our kids loved the different types of cutlery and dinnerware presented to them each meal. Only Backstage restaurant was open during our stay; but look forward to trying out their other restaurants (still getting ready) on our next trip. KIDS CLUB - The kids club layout itself is more targeted to younger kids (toddlers/preschool), probably not much for primary+ kids to do there. We felt a bit uneasy about only one staff member manning the kids club (not many kids, but in case of emergency if something were to happen to that staff member...better to have two staff.) BUT, the staff (Karina and one other lady) were AMAZING! They were so kind and enthusiastic - our kids fell in love. They rated Renaissance kids club as their favourite out of this whole Bali trip because of the staff and the activities they enjoyed together (crafts, aqua aerobics etc). Thank you. POOLS - the vibe at this hotel was great even though it was quite empty during our stay. The music was good, staff were fun and encouraged you to try different things. The multiple pools were all very different and enjoyable to swim in. BEACH CLUB - The hotel is not in front of a beach, but they offer free shuttle service in the form of private cars to the hotel's designated beach club area. Shuttle service was okay (drivers weren't hotel staff, but outsourced I believe). We arrived at beach around 11am, and the beach itself was filthy with rubbish which was really disappointing. We saw someone starting to clean it up closer to midday but it was only half clean even then (we were worried our children would step on something sharp or play with something dirty/dangerous). The worst part though were the local vendors who try to sell you things. As soon as we got there, despite us repeatedly saying we weren't interested today, many of them took turns to aggressively sell one after another multiple times during our short stay at the beach club. The hotel staff member at the beach club was friendly, but did not do anything to stop the vendors which I think the hotel should look into doing. I understand (and do) supporting locals is important - but I don't really want to be buying sarong after sarong and paintings when I really don't need any more of it. It totally ruined our experience there, and we did not bother to return to the beach club. Also they only sold drinks at the beach club and no snacks/food. All in all, we loved Renaissance and look forward to revisiting on our next trip to see the resort in all its glory when they fully open. Hopefully their staff friendliness levels remain the same even when they become more busier - because it is really to the merit of Renaissance Nusa Dua. Thank you for a memorable stay.…
Stayed for 7 nights with my wife and 2 children aged 5 & 3. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend. The hotel is new so all the facilities and rooms are in pristine condition. The staff were very attentive and professional during the stay. Staff around the pool area and in the pool bar did a great job, with no request to much trouble. The children loved spending time at the kids club. With the staff doing a fantastic job with great facilities. The spa was also very good. We enjoyed several massages that where very very good, up there with the best I have ever had. One wing of the hotel is not open yet and two additional restaurants are still under construction ( internal fit outs) We did on a few occasions encounter construction noise from this, nothing seriously loud or for long sustained periods but warrants mentioning. Food was fantastic during the stay with a great breakfast selection. Would definitely return to this hotel.…
This is definitely an under rated resort in Nusa Dua! Everything was new! The room was spacious; the food was fabulous; the spa was superb. Super friendly staff and fantastic hospitality. We had a great time there and will be back when we visit Bali next time!
We stayed here for 1 night only and loved everything about this hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful, and the professional food was fresh and tasty great selection for dinner and breakfast, and we had a complimentary dessert as the massage at the spa was fabulous wish we had time for more in a great location near the beach near good restaurants well-done staff for a great stay
We made an unplanned reservation directly at the reception. Everything was wonderful. Super friendly staff, beautiful view, clean, spacious rooms, super diversified breakfast. We will definitely come back if we return to Bali Thank you for your hospitality!!!
My friend and I visited the atomic 17 pool at Renaissance in Nusa Dua and it was truly such a memorable night. Staff were so welcoming and friendly and the pool was beautiful. Special mention to the lovely Rias for showing me and my friend around the resort and helped us take so many beautiful pictures !! Definitely recommend and will definitely come again next time
Renaissance Nusa Dua, a Balinese theatrical concept hotel! A great vibrant lifestyle experience, perfect stay for my first vacation since 2020 #SPAexperience at REN is ZEN to the max! Love the fact that I can choose the oil according to my preference and AYU literally massaged all my stress away Gaining weight, but doing it happily! Loving all the FnB selection from breakfast, cocktails, snack, high tea & dinner and also room service for the (always) hungry son Will definitely return to this hotel!
We arrived at the Renaissance Nusa Dua after five days at Lovina and can categorically say these are two of the best resorts I have ever stayed at. Again, we were blown away with how friendly, knowledgeable, kind and welcoming the staff in every part of the hotel were. Because this a fairly new hotel and tourist numbers are still down it felt like there was a 1:1 staff/guest ratio and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully appointed and well furnished. The common areas are also terrific with pools everywhere and a terrific selection of pool lounges to pick from, the fitness centre and spa are next level with the equipment and the breakfast buffet is sensational. It's a kilometre (downhill so uphill coming back) to the nearest shops and another 1.5 to the beach but the resort does have a shuttle that will take you down to their beach club area.…
I have done my fair share of travel and I have to say that the staff at this hotel are the best I have ever seen. They are so kind and go out of their way to meet any request. You can tell that they were all trained very well. The hotel is brand new and laid out perfectly. There are 4 pools and none of them were too crowded so it was easy to find a lounge chair and relax. The food in the restaurant is wonderful and the breakfast has anything you may desire. Our kids loved the Kids Club and spent most of their time there. There is a hotel shuttle that will take you to the beach which is about 5 minutes away. If you want to go out for dinner that are a some nice restaurants only a few minutes away. Do yourself a favor and book this hotel if you are planning a trip to Nusa Dua.
