Aspiah manager in seasonal tastes was amazing this is the best experience we have had from hotel staff around the world a real gem, positive nothing is to hard to solve 💎 the stay was great thank you Aspiah!!!
We just completed a wonderful family (2 adults, 2 kids) week-long holiday at the Westin Resort, NUSA Dua. Airport transfer, arranged via the hotel, was seamless and a great way to arrive/depart. It is more expensive than normal taxis but very well set-up with captains seats in all rows and plenty of space for a family of 4 in comfort. The staff at the hotel were all so friendly and could not do enough to help make our stay enjoyable. Indy, in particular, helped ensure any requests were taken care of effortlessly. We stayed in a two-bedroom garden room which was a perfect arrangement for the family. Essentially 2 rooms, one with a king bed the other with 2 doubles and each with its own seating are, bathroom with shower and bath and a separate seating area adjoining the rooms. We chose this room(s) as it also has access to the gardens via a small patio area which then leads onto the pool. Room was well appointed, very clean, spacious and comfy but possibly showing its age a little in terms of design. A small point in the scheme of things. The pool area is beautiful and sunbeds/loungers plentiful. Pool is large enough to enjoy swimming as well as areas for the kids to play with water polo nets and a small basketball style hoop near the in pool bar and slide. We thoroughly enjoyed the absolutely huge range of foods available for breakfast in the Seasonal Tastes restaurant each morning. Essentially it is buffet-style but with multiple areas for the different styles of food. I'll probably miss some but the sections included bread/pastries (including pancakes and doughnuts that the kids loved!); Indonesion; Japanese; fresh fruits; cheese/deli meats; egg station; "Western breakfast (sausage, bacon, beans etc) Indian and Halal - as well as juices; coffees and teas. This restaurant also then provided a good variety of lunch and dinner options too, also allowing for some wellbeing style options in addition to wagyu burgers and the likes. We enjoyed the sports bar (Valeda) on a couple of nights to watch the Wimbledon Men's Tennis final and also the State of Origin decider. Good atmosphere and tapas options for nibbles. Olives with chillies and garlic were good, as were the curly fries to go with some Bintangs. Prego (the Italian restaurant) was of a high standard too, with wonderful service - thank you Yuli - and some amazing dishes. Unfortunately, during our time there (July 2022), Ikan (the beachside restaurant) was being rebuilt. From the looks of the images it will be sensational but not yet available for us to enjoy. The building works noise was kept to ainimum and really wasn't noticeable, although there is an area cordoned off behind boards with images of the restaurant where it is taking place. We didn't take advantage of many of the activities on offer but there were bikes to use for bike riding, two table tennis tables, a small area for badminton and a luxuriously appointed spa. For those that know Nusa Dua, you will know it can get a little breezy on the beach, but the hotel grounds are well protected. Lovely beach loungers are available for use on the beach and a temporary set up of a restaurant too. Nusa Dua is a lovely place to stay and a short walk from the hotel along the beach takes you past other hotels and their bars and restaurants which you can also visit. For a change we thoroughly enjoyed the Manarai Beach House for lunch and drinks on a couple of days, a few minutes walk along the beach. We also enjoyed a couple of nights over in Jimbaran Bay to see the sunset (about a 20 minute taxi ride away), and a trip up to Seminyak (about 40 minute taxi ride) for some shopping. Overall, it was a wonderful week long holiday. The hotel was a wonderful place to stay and to return to after our few trips away, and the staff amazingly friendly and helpful. Food was excellent wherever we ate, both at the hotel and the few options we chose when we ate out. Bali is coming back to life, but it is noticeable that it might take a little while to get back to full speed. Here's hoping the shops can return and people can build again. Highly recommend the Westin Resort Nusa Dua and Bali as a destination. …
This resort was absolutely breathtaking. When I first entered the door the lobby area looked exactly as shown on the pictures. What wasn’t shown was the kindness and excellent customer service at the check in desk. We arrived at 2:00 a.m. Bali time and our rooms were ready and the check in process was smooth and very well done. We were greeted with cool towels to wipe our faces after a long flight in. A few things to note, they ask for a credit card for the $100.00 incidental per day or in IDR 1,498,024.64 rupiah. This covers things like using mini bar items, or charging things to your room, or other services you request. Overall, if you don’t go over this amount or you don’t use it, the charge will drop off. I also suggest you thoroughly research your choice of room. Some rooms sound similar when booking so be sure of what room you are choosing. I chose the room type Premium Room, 2 Doubles, Mini fridge, 48sqm/516 sqft, Wireless internet, with a Coffee/tea maker, TV. This room came with a small balcony over looking the garden, room 4044. This part of the hotel located in the Prego Italian restaurant area. It seems to be in the newer part of the hotel. The room was spacious and beautiful with the bathroom totally secluded. A huge walk-in shower that was clean and had the two filtered shower nozzles. There was also a oval shaped tub and toilet with a bidet. They provided bottled mineral water each day for you to use for brushing your teeth and two bedside your bed for drinking. Please do your research on not drinking or using the tap water. There was a huge walk-in closet with sliding mirrored doors that had plenty of storage and a dressing area. The resort offered several amenities like, shops for souvenirs or items you may needed that you omitted to bring. There are ATM machines as well as a bank. However, they were not too keen on providing change for lower bills. They also have a money exchange area, not sure of the limit but one day was only able to get $20.00 USD. The buffet restaurant was very good and offered a gracious amount of choices for breakfast and lunch, which you can also order ala Carter’s. We also made a reservation for the Hamabe Japanese restaurant, you can find my review in a previous post. The Ikan restaurant on the beach that was great, the waygu steak melted in your mouth. The resort is very spacious but the beach is small and nice, but definitely check out Melasti Beach. You can purchase a day pass and enjoy wonderful amenities from, drinks, food, towel service or you can just enjoy the dreamscape beds on the beach at the resort. Overall this place was awesome.…

We had a wonder stay in westin nusa dua for 2 nights. Upgraded to suite room uoon check in. Staffs are all friendly & nice to make the stay wonderful. Enjoyed the afternoon tea in the lobby as well. Will cerainly come back in next family trip to Bali.
We last stayed at this resort when it was the branded the Nusa Indah in the late 90s. It was lovely then, and still is now. Our stay this month provided the relaxing holiday so badly needed. We booked in a Premium Double Room which gave us access to the pool next to this wing in addition to the main pool. Our room was modern and well-furnished. The resort is luxurious, well-kept, clean and sparkling. The gardens are a joy to walk through each day. The staff in each department are highly professional, friendly and demonstrate amazing team work (especially the busy buffet breakfast team - well done!). There is no end of activities/ facilities to keep you busy at the Westin. During our stay we used the gym, bicycles, paddle board, kayaking, golf centre, dayspa, surfing (boards rented nearby) and swimming pools. There was plenty of space, towels and lounge chairs for everyone. The resort's restaurants and food outlets (Ikan, Prego, Hamabe, Velada, Lobby Lounge, and By the Water) are also worth a try. A special thank you to Eka and the team at Concierge for helping arrange our tours and drivers. We greatly appreciated your time and advice in ensuring we received a great experience. We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to our next stay.…
We had a great experience for the 6-night stay. First of all, thank you to Elly at the concierge desk to help us book activities before the arrival. we exchanged emails for more than 10 times and she was always very patient. Eka was also very helpful when we needed to book any activities and always checked on us. Secondly, the F&B team is awesome! We requested dishes off the menu directly through F&B WhatsApp account and they’d make anything happened if they had the ingredients. The hotel offered many options from private romantic dinner, to private bonfire and to customized dish. Thank you to Yoga for serving us at the dinner. Ikan’s bonfire was awesome. My 2 daughters didn’t want to leave at all and kept asking for more marsh mellow. they loved the bonfire. The receptionists and waiters at Ikan were great! Finally thank you to Yuli, Gus and Giriadi at Prego for the kids’ pizza making. My little daughter loved to cook it with an industrial oven. Lastly, Novi at the spa was great.…
Move from Kayon Resort in Ubud to here in Westin Nusa Dua just totally different experience. As part of Bonvoy Marriott member we booked through the Bonvoy app. Checked in and checked out instantly and all staffs so polite. Received all info regarding activities at the resort and restaurants. We just stayed at the resort and enjoyed all their activities. Very much enjoyed their morning bike tour (very recommended) which took about 1 hour with great scenery along the beach. Love the afternoon tea and it's free with varieties of sweets and cakes. Love to chill at the Ikan restaurant with Acoustics Live Music. Served delicious food, definitely should try Ikan bakar and the italian Job cocktails. Spent most of nights at Velada sport bar, happy hours from 10pm, great place to enjoy Australian Open with happy hour. Tuesday nite they have Tacos Nite, but we end up at Hamabe Japanese. To sum it all up, will be back again at Westin Nusa Dua for all the good experience we had during our stayed.…
We stayed at the Westin Nusa Dua and had a great time. Excellent facilities and customer service from friendly and efficient staff. The concierge desk arranged for a private tour of Ubud and surrounding areas with an English guide which was very good. The breakfast buffet was extensive and covered every conceivable option from Asian to western style food.
Stayed here for 2 nights and I would say that I had amazing stay. It is my 2nd time in Westin and a lot has changed though the room layout and its corridor look so old but still acceptable for me. The first night I had my dinner at Ikan, and it was so so so good! I ordered Mahi-Mahi and tastes so fresh. However, on the 2nd night we ordered in-room dining and I ordered Indian fish curry but the taste was not up to my expectation. It doesn't have the spices and all only salty. However, their curry udon was the bomb! Love it and wondering if they do takeaways or online delivery? The only shortfalls for me, I hated when one the team from the bellboy or front office (idk), when I asked him about my vallet instead of being attentive he just looked down on his document and said "wait I'm working on this, you can ask the security" and when I went to security, they even apologised for him not being helpful and explain that there were some shortage in manning. Other than that, about the breakfast... I loved the Indonesian part (the nasi goreng, bihun, fritters, fish, ayam cabe garam, even all the sambal choices.. i loved them all) But I am a bit disappointed with their Indian and Western taste, for me it didn't bring out any taste and only plain. I think you need to improve on that specific part. Overall, i love my stay and def will come back. …
