We stayed 18 days at this wonderful property. The staff, the grounds, the restaurants, the pools and beach were just a pleasure. Even the area around the hotel, the beach bike and walking path and the street outside the resort were intriguing. We recommend this to anyone traveling to Bali.
My wife and I just spent a week in Bali with 12 friends. It was our first visit to this magical island but not our last. Everything about the HR is amazing...the food, the service, the grounds. While the whole staff was helpful and friendly, extra love to Jaya in the lounge. He's a gem. They're all gems...he's the gemmiest! Because of our Globalist status, we received a nice room upgrade. The larger rooms are on the ground floor so our view was of the pretty garden. We also had access to the lounge. This was unbelievable. A full breakfast buffet with cooked-to-order eggs (amazing eggs benedict) and so many options, we were never bored (or hungry). Each night, the lounge opens from 5-7p with an open bar (limited options but unlimited drinks) and a dinner buffet that changed every 5-6 days. The food was a giant step up from finger food and it was our dinner most nights. The lounge is gorgeous. If you aren't a Globalist member, you can add this club access for a reasonable fee before you check in. Once you check in, it's more than twice the price. Our group did the Wednesday night Balinese culture performance and buffet and we were surprised how much we enjoyed it. The food at the HR is fantastic. Surrounding the hotel is a "boardwalk" lined with the beach and small shops and restaurants. It's a flat walkway and easy to navigate. The only issue we had was at night (sleeping). The room wouldn't get cooler than 21C. Engineering tried to help but they loaned us a fan in the end. Not enough to chase us off...we're booking 2 weeks at the Hyatt Regency Bali next year. …
Thankful for all the previous reviewers...this hotel was wonderful. They made arrival easy with pre-booked transportation...driver was waiting with cold towel and bottle of water! Welcome drink at check-in and the room was very nice. Possibly the most comfortable hotel beds I've experienced. We loved the breakfast buffet (truly something for everyone's taste) and lounging around the pool with our sangria. The massage was a relaxing experience I highly recommend. Also, we were able to walk down the boardwalk and have dinner at some of the local places right on the beach. If I ever make it back to Bali I won't hesitate to stay here again!
The staffing was excellent all my requests were met with smiles and friendliness the pool service was great and the premises was constantly cleaned. we were confined at the hotel during a religious day and were well looked after during this time
Wonderful experience. The room was clean, comfortable new room, which made a very pleasant stay. The beach is close to the hotel room and other activity areas. The staff showing great hospitality throughout my stay, I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a great place to stay
The check-in experience here is abysmal, and the staff won’t give a truthful answer about your status. The housekeeping staff must all be on strike as well. It’s 4:30pm, and our room still hasn’t been cleaned nor has the supply of bottled water been replenished. The front desk doesn’t answer the phone. The facility is nice, but the service we’ve experienced during this stay has been abysmal.
Great service at the Pizzeria restaurant by Azmi -Manager Purnama - waitress. The quality of the food is exceptional. There are a number of pools to choose from and beach side pool lounges. It is in a good location and the room and fittings were to a high standard. I recommend this hotel and I am pretty sure we will be back again.
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency for 3 nights and it was perfect. Beautiful, lush, manicured grounds. Incredible staff, amazing food and service. The property is on the beach, and a short walk from Sanur if you want to leave the grounds.
This hotel should be so easy to award 5 stars - but we almost awarded only 3!!!!!. Its crown jewel is its gardens - which are massive, tranquil and beautiful, closely followed by its restaurants, food and friendly/helpful staff We stayed for 7 nights and ate in the hotel for each night. Omang'Omang and Pizzeria created pefect relaxation together with sublime surroundings and wonderful food. Breakast chice at Omang Omang was HUGE and generally very good/excellent. The hotel is truly an oasis of tranquility to recharge batteries/ escape the cares of the world!. It's location is superb with the beachfront on one side and Sanur high street on the other. For those who want to eat at different or cheaper places there are so many restaurants to choose within walking distance. So what was there to be unhappy about? Well firstly on a personal note, we celebrated our wedding anniversary there. I arranged with them beforehand to provide some small gesture including a cake (complimentary) The night before my wife suggested we ask the ktchen to make a cake - I told her 'don't worry -it's all in hand'- but it wasn't - we didnt get the cake or the promised room decoration!! This alone left me tempted to award 2 stars!!! However they did attempt to mitigate things when I pointed out their shortcomings at checkout, by ringing ahead to our next hotel and asking them to do what the Hyatt had promised but failed to do 3 days earlier. The other hotel (Adiwana Bisma UBUD was more than gracious about it!) The other problem we had is common to all Premier Rooms . Our main reason for booking a Premier room was to have a large balcony overlooking the grounds. Unfortunately, for those that want to enjoy the balcony only disappointment awaits. The hotel has a pyramid like structure and the premier rooms on the ground floor for the base. Unfortunately these rooms do not have a solid ceiling - rather it is slatted wood. This means that 1) If it rains the outside furniture becomes very wet. 2) It's impossible to enjoy a drink there without bits of the vine on the walls above fallling though the slats into the drink! and 3) depending on the aspect the balcony is exceedingly hot at certain times of the day. and 4) the area needs sweeping almost continuously. The Premier rooms interior is great but given the issues with the balcony are probably not worth the price. Would we stay at this hotel again - Definitely - but not in a Premier room unless and until they resolve the balcony issue, and maybe not to celebrate a personal milestone. Such a shame to have to present negative vibes for what is otherwise a truly wonderful hotel!!!…
When checked in, they asked for my payment AGAIN... and long days before my payment proof already sent via email... They should checked it first before asked the customer... very bad payment system... And very loud kitchen exhauster in our room (1222 & 1223)...this is very unacceptable for me at all... RUINED MY SLEEP !!
