Hotel is good and quiet. Perfect for families with small kids. Loved the garden, pool and all the cottages. Breakfast was so poor. In the menu there was said bacon & eggs, but when it arrived to the table, there was ham and eggs.
Gorgeous little resort with amazingly friendly and always smiling staff and service, but owners should think of little investment in towel replacement, cause it would change overall impression of such a beautiful landscape paradise. Definitely recommend not to miss this old fashioned style hotel in lively Sanur,but...More
We stayed here for 5 nights, after a long flight from England we were welcomed with a warm Balinese welcome by the reception staff.
The rooms were not ready when we arrived but it did not take too long for them to be ready.
This hotel is a jewel in the middle of busy sanur! It started with a gourmet restaurant and then owners dominic and lili extended it as a homely and cosy hotel with 15 cottages rebuilt with all the material obtained from old houses in java!...More

As the others have said- there are a few steps up to the cottages- think ours had 4, once up there though we were on the flat- ours did not have any door frames to climb over. The bathroom is huge however, only you can decide if the steps up are an issue for you. Another thing to consider is the paths around the gardens are not particularly flat, and the doors into the café where breakfast is served are not particularly wide. It may be worth asking about the private villas- they may not have the steps up to them. Do ask the hotel if in doubt, they are very helpful.
