Tandjung Sari was opened in 1962 and began as an extension of the family home of Indonesian proprietor Wija Wawo-Runtu. The hotel was named Tandjung Sari (cape of flowers) and initially developed as Bali's very first boutique property to be managed as a small family business catering to...
My friends and I had a great dinner here a few days ago. The atmosphere was peaceful and lovely, and the food was delicious. They don’t mind making substitutions or changes to make the food just how you like it. We had the chicken and...More
We were introduced to this oasis during their outdoor weekend marketplace. It was magical. Soft-lighted lamps decorated each of several raised bamboo platforms set on the beach, comfy cushions strewn invitingly for us to recline and relax. Ancient sounds rise out of traditional instruments, echoing...More

Beautiful resort and grounds sticking as much as possible to traditional Bali. Stone and wood carvings abound. Units have pleasant outdoor seating areas. Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Many areas other than the pool and beach to relax. A real gem

The south garden bungalows are closest to the pool, restaurant and beach. They are the newest, built in 2012, but have been built to look like they have always been there. They are huge with spacious dressing room and huge bathroom as well as outdoor bathroom. I have stayed in a beachfront bungalow in the past and viewed all the other bungalows and the south garden are the best. Ask for Bungalow 25 or 30. There are only 4 south garden bungalows but 25 and 30 are closest to the beach.
The hotel had several children at the time we stayed - two of whom were babies. The staff were particularly attentive to the children - they provided high chairs at meal times. So yes, your children will love it.
