Bambu Indah was truely inspiring. The little wooden huts, the bio-pool, the bamboo architecture, the experience of living on a farm...everything was wonderful. We stayed at the Kollam House and it was gorgeous if one likes wooden huts which have a feel of being very ancient....which we did. The semi-outdoor bathroom and the lotus pond in front were very enjoyable.... More

We recently stayed 3 nights in Padi house at Bambu Indah and what a waste of money. The hotel website sells itself as an "eco-luxury boutique hotel" and in some sections even refers to itself as "our resort". Check the definition of luxury and resort. This place is far from luxury let alone a resort. The house we stayed in... More

Initially, I was hesitant as the hotel was pricey to us but I am glad we decided to splurge a bit. Our family of 6 stayed in Elora House for 4 days and 3 nights. The place was great. We spend most of our time in the hotel enjoying the surrounding. My kids really had a blast exploring the area.... More

Our family of 5 stayed in Elora and Orin house at Bambu Indah. What a delightful place! Our children enjoyed exploring the property and playing in the unique pool. The breakfast was delicious and the service was impeccable. The outdoor bathrooms were just amazing, so many special touches. We appreciated the driver who was called by the staff to bring... More

From my pick up at the International airport to my farewell, staying at Bambu Indah was a terrific experience. As a first time, solo, traveller I was a little unsure. I need not have been. I felt very welcomed by the staff and was touched by their sincere and helpful manner. The beauty of the environment is quite overwhelming and... More

Bambu Indah delighted us from the littlest details to the structures and obvious features, from check in to check out. Accommodations were superb. Our villa is a teakwood house but all the modern facilities you would expect in fine hotels are provided. Some details worth mentioning are the ear plugs (for those who want to block out the sound of... More

This a very unique place. The view is gorgeous, the houses fantastic and the staff ever-smiling and friendly. For me and my husband I had no doubt it was going to be great, but I wasn't sure if our girls (5 and 7) woud enjoy it. They were very sceptical when I said there was no real pool, but a... More

Such a beautiful and relaxing location. We arrived at the hotel at 2am, the hotel staff up and waiting for us. We were quickly checked in and taken to our room where they had saved us some food just we were hungry after our travels. It was the little details like this that made it an exceptional holiday. Trully unique place, the Bali we all dream about... A place created with love, passion and vision... Authentic, inspiring, serene. This place is remarkable! Each house is an authentic, antique Javanese house transported and rebuilt on the owner's private lot, which overlooks the holy Ayung river and rice paddies beyond. No two are alike, and each has special touches to appreciate. I stayed in a larger house first, with gorgeous antique furniture and a view of the rice terraces. Then... More
