I stay at two places when I am in Ubud and this is one of them. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are all nice except room 1 which is old and upstairs. The pool is the best I have found. Surrounded on two sides by rice fields. It is close to the Monkey Forest (the monkeys do...

Very nice hotel, very quiet. Pool looks out onto rice fields, it is beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was okay, we got the "waffle" with banana. It turned out to be a jaffle with a banana in it.. it was nice though. No complimentary water. Staff was very nice. The rooms are very big and they are clean. Bath was large,...

We paid around $70 with an extra bed. The room was quite big, and it was ready for us. The hotel has a decent size swimming pool which I really enjoyed during my holiday in Ubud. However, this hotel needs to improve their bathroom and house keeping service. Bathroom was old, and bad small came from the pipes. Furthermore, house...

Stayed in Room 10 (older building) for a week and it was just what we were looking for. Great location, friendly staff, quiet, large comfortable rooms and a beautiful pool with a view, which we often had to ourselves. The breakfast is basic but there are so many other options within easy walking distance if you would prefer something else.The...

I have stayed here many times as I find it a good location, off the quiet end of Monkey Forest yet close to many good eateries and close to Yoga Barn or Radiantly Alive. Grounds are well maintained. The pool is small but adequate and it overlooks a lovely rice field. The rooms are spacious and minimalist, with floor to...

This is my second time staying at Nyoman Karsa. The first time was back around 2009 or 2010. Uppers: I really like the rooms here, sleek and modern and large and well-appointed. Great balconies. The mini fridge is always a nice perk for keeping your water cold and your snacks ant-free. There's also TV and DVD, but I never bother...

We stayed here for a week in October 2014. The location is great - just a couple of minutes walking to Monkey Forest and not far from the main shopping areas. The breakfast was included with our booking and it was okay, probably wouldn't get it again and would instead go to one of the great restaurants nearby. The juices...

After a bumpy start with some house keeping issues - terrible pillows, thread bare towels and grey sheets and general house keeping - All of which were rectified upon request. We stayed in the old style room which at first we were disappointed by this as we had booked months ago and had hoped for a room overlooking the pool....

We stayed at Nyoman Karsa for 5 nights and were very happy there! Good location right near the monkey forest, we had a monkey visitor to the pool one day! Slightly further to the 'main road' but there are hundreds of shops/bars/restaurants/spas all around the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast (we ordered banana pancakes every day)...

A property of only about 10 apartments situated on Monkey Forest Road overlooking rice fields with a very good pool. The location is good if you don't mind being at the other end from main road. There is a well stocked supermarket nearby and many small cafes, restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is well managed, we were given lifts...

“I stayed in room 7 the first night, which faces the pool area but you couldn't really see the pool from there. I think you'd need to stay in the lower-number rooms for pool view/access. I was in room 8 the second night, which was HUGE but which faces the reception/road (it was still quiet though!)”
  • View from balcony of room 7 (pool is just near that coconut tree)
