Our stay at Komaneka Bisma was very comfortable.

- Their reception was big, very welcoming and check-in was super fast. During our entire stay, the reception staff addressed us by our names each time.
- They had a separate Indian menu for breakfast and the Indian food taste and standards were acceptable. They had more varieties of dishes available during breakfast, and stuff could be easily ordered. Even our in-room complimentary cookies were eggless. A one time complimentary basket of few fries and chocolates was provided in our room.
- We had an issue with one dish on our last day at breakfast, the supervisor well understood, and even got a replacement. After that, notably, quite a few folks around knew about our breakfast issue and apologised.
- Their room sizes are large, well planned and very thoughtful. Power outlets and USB ports were plenty.
- Ample drinking water was available, was complimentary and more could be ordered anytime.
- In room dining service was very fast and items that we ordered were moderately priced.
- Bathroom was huge, had all shower and related items. Shower cubicle was also big. Ample storage area for luggage was available.
- All other room amenities were available.
- A big balcony attached to the room with a couch, coffee table and a hanging egg chair. Amazing views of greenery and pool area from the room.
- Extra bed was setup before we reached, this was appreciated. All items in room were in sets of three as needed.
- Entire resort staff was very welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we spoke to, understood English well.
- They provide complimentary afternoon tea.
- Checkout was equally fast.
- This resort is not in an isolated area, it is close to the centre. They also have free shuttle service at fixed timings.

Komaneka Bisma is an elegant luxury boutique hotel that has stellar service.

We had a huge family gathering in Ubud. A dozen of us stayed here.

With the number of odd requests and needs we put forth, from us and our friends and family, they were always professional, knowledgable and courteous. In this, they were simply unmatched by the other properties near here.

Welcoming, helpful, but never overly attentive or intrusive. We prefer Komaneka to places like the Four Seasons due to the feeling of privacy. We don't particularly enjoy being doted upon, and so Komaneka Bisma was the perfect amount of attentiveness and helpfulness. It's also the perfect size (45+ suites?) and an easy walk to town and for a visit to Monkey Forest.

While the rooms could be updated so that there are smart controls on light switches, that would be extremely picky. The rooms are perfectly maintained.

Despite getting up at dawn each morning to do yoga on our own balcony, I did not get a single mosquito bite in our week long stay here, or in town.

We prefer properties like this where there's a sense of place, and you get that with any Komaneka properties. The Monkey Forest and Rasa are more centrally located, but we found this Bisma location at the edge of town the perfect retreat.

And if you're not looking for walkability, their Tanggy. property is even more spectacular, but weigh that against a 20-40 minute shuttle ride to town.

Fantastic resort, immersed in the lush nature of Bali, but a stone's throw from the center.
Upon arrival and throughout our stay, all the staff (but absolutely everything) were always full of smiles and availability for any request.
Check in on comfortable sofas with a choice of different fruits and a nice refreshing juice, while enjoying the view.
The accommodation in the private pool villa took our breath away.
Generous spaces, abundant swimming pool, great privacy, a splendid view of the small valley on which the resort stands, the cleanliness (twice a day), the service, the total silence that envelops you, nothing disappointed us!
Upon arrival, given our tiredness, we were served afternoon tea/coffee (with 4 typical canapés) directly in our room; all the other days we enjoyed it at the restaurant instead.
Excellent breakfast, to be consumed on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool and rice field and composed of a buffet with lots of fresh fruit, freshly squeezed fruit juices, various types of croissants, bread to toast with butter and jams and some typical Balinese sweets, completed by a à la carte menu card from which you can freely choose between several main courses (as many as you want).
Excellent service also regarding the transfer from the airport.
We did not use other services, such as the SPA, morning yoga and the various courses organized during the day.
The location of the resort is ideal: going out for a short walk you come across many clubs, exchange services, scooter rental, massage centers and in 15 minutes you arrive at the key points of Ubud: monkey forest, water palace, Ubud palace, market, etc. .
Beautiful experience that we will carry pleasantly in our memories.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and were simply delighted. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location right next to the forest and the rice terraces is breathtakingly beautiful, as is the pool. The Sacred Monkey Forest is a 10-15 minute walk away on one side and the center of Ubud on the other. The breakfast buffet is rather small, but there is a large selection of menus such as Egg Benedict, waffles, pancakes, etc. The evening meal is also highly recommended and was very tasty with a huge menu from Indonesian, Korean, Western to Chinese, etc.
We really appreciated that free water bottles were provided every day in the spacious and clean room for drinking and brushing teeth. In addition, our European plugs (CH/DE) worked without adapters in the sockets and USB ports were also available.
Long story short: We would come back in a heartbeat!

This hotel is absolutely amazing on all levels.
The hotel itself is like an oasis with a beautiful calming natural feel. The pool area is not big, but provides a very relaxing break after lots of sightseeing.
We stayed in a 4 person villa with private pool. This was exceptional - providing everything you need in a very spacious environment. Everything you can think of is provided and more, from adapters, insect repellent, sunscreen and even an outdoor kitchen area where the ice bucket is always filled!!!
Breakfast was exceptional and the hotel provided an afternoon tea from 15:30-16:30 which was delicious, included in the price.
The service provided by all staff was also exceptional - nothing was too much trouble.
I would like to make a special mention to Feby who provided us with not only exceptional service but for helping us organise our various trips, recommending local restaurants and for making our stay in Ubud amazing.
As a family of 4 I highly recommend this hotel if you are after a luxurious stay in a great location in Ubud. Thank you again Komaneka (at Bisma) and Feby for a truly memorable stay.

A wonderful experience in one of the loveliest of hotels.
We had the one bedroom pool villa, and it was exquisite. Tranquil and serene, a haven from the hustle of Ubud which is only a short walk away. The villa was well maintained and everything we needed was in the room, including insect repellent.
Staff were attentive and very polite. Knew all the guests and were friendly with everyone, especially the children.
Food was great, so good it was tempting most evenings not to go out.
We used the spa, the gym and the main pool as well as joined the morning yoga session. Again, all to a very high standard.

Great 4 nights/5 days, would throughly recommend.

Do yourself a favor: stop searching and book your stay at Komaneka at Bisma!

My husband, 3.5 year old daughter, and mother stayed at Komankea at Bisma for 28 days while my husband and I hosted 2 yoga retreats on the property. The staff knew our daughter's name before we even arrived and treated us, as well as our groups of students, as if we were family.

The service experience was unparalleled and included free breakfast delivered to our rooms, free afternoon in-room tea service with snacks, twice daily room cleaning and so much more. When they discovered our daughter loved having an inner tube to use in the pool, they placed 2 in our villa for us without us even asking.

The location is top notch - Bisma is not overly developed and has many incredible restaurants located on the same street as the hotel that are easy walking distance. The hotel is only a 10min walk to the Monkey Forest and central Ubud. My daughter, mother and I walked daily to the shops and cafes of Ubud with ease. The hotel does provide a free shuttle which we did not regularly use, but the hotel supported us in the evenings with rides to dinner which was great.

The setting of the hotel could not possibly be more beautiful or peaceful. Every room looks upon the forest and you can hear the river below. The hotel feels immersed in nature and the infinity pool is simply divine making it a nice place to return to after spending time in the busier more commercialized parts of Ubud. It feels like with Komaneka at Bisma you receive the best of both worlds.

The hotel staff took incredible care of our students, who flew in from around the world to participate in our retreats. Every student raved about the hotel, location, service, and staff. There was not a single complaint or even suggestion for how it could have been better and they excelled at not only meeting expectations but exceeding them.

The rooms were clean, quiet, and wildly spacious. We stayed in a pool villa, which we loved for ourselves and our daughter. My mother stayed in a standard room which was incredibly acquainted with patio swing, large tub, and living area.

The hotel manager, Kande, is one of the kindest, most helpful and professional people we have ever met. Ade, Mei, Dewa, and the entire team provided the most outstanding service we have ever had anywhere in the world. Best of all, they communicate with each other so there is deep sense of consistency throughout your stay. You can reach the hotel anytime via WhatsApp making room service, cleaning, questions, and planning so easy!

I could honestly go on and on about this hotel and although we stayed there for 4 weeks and have only been home a short time, we are already looking forward to being there again.

We were staying here for a stop on our honeymoon and from start to finish the staff were a credit to the hotel - absolutely fantastic. Many additional extras like breakfast and afternoon tea, activities included. For two days in a row we had a sleep in and the staff were concerned something was wrong with breakfast (nothing was we were just being lazy!) but they then sent something to the room outside of the normal hours - really kind and went above what we expected! Location is also convenient as you are secluded but can walk into Ubud in a short time - would recommend Why Not Bar (10 min walk) for the great live music and vibes - also was usually busy.

Our stay at Komaneka at Bisma was an absolute delight, making our time in Ubud truly memorable. Nestled against a breathtaking forest backdrop with picturesque rice fields and an inviting infinity pool, the setting was nothing short of enchanting. The convenience of being within walking distance to Ubud Palace, as well as numerous restaurants and shopping options, added to the overall charm of the location.

This small boutique hotel, with around 40+ rooms, exceeded our expectations. Our room was incredibly spacious, featuring not only a comfortable bedroom but also a generous sitting area and a large bathroom equipped with a tub, double sink, and a separate closet.

The inclusive breakfast and daily tea service at 4 PM were delightful touches, enhancing our overall experience. Having previously stayed at Komaneka Rasa Sayang, I must say that while both properties are beautiful, the preference for Komaneka at Bisma was influenced by the stunning views of the surrounding forest.

The staff at Komaneka at Bisma were outstanding, displaying a strong commitment to customer service. Mei and the entire restaurant team were particularly helpful, ensuring that our needs were met with warmth and efficiency.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Komaneka at Bisma for its unbeatable location, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service. It's the perfect choice for those seeking a blend of luxury, tranquility, and easy access to the vibrant offerings of Ubud.

We stayed at the Residence, which has 3 separate master rooms really, a large pool and an open dining area. The rooms are large, feel open and are very bright (although if you don't want brightness the curtains are good). The rooms are showing a bit of wear, but we found that in every resort we stayed at in Bali (and in Singapore on this visit). One thing to note is that there are fairly large gaps between the sliding doors, which really worried us the first night we arrived as we are not really into insects. However we did not find any issues inside our rooms during our stay.

The staff are amazingly friendly and try to be as helpful as possible. I would say that this hotel had the best staff out of any hotel I have ever stayed at, they really made the stay for us. The area is serene, the views from our rooms just amazing. We stayed 3 nights and went after to Seminyak and Nusa Dua. I wish we spent more time in Ubud in hindsight.

We hired a driver separately from the hotel to drive us from the airport and also to drive us around one day to some of the sights around Ubud. We also did a cooking class another day, and went to the Monkey forest. Highly recommend this place as a base and as a place to get from it all!

One aside from the actual hotel is that we found a small laundromat and did our laundry there twice (ABC laundry). They did an amazing job, and I wish I knew of this option before coming as I could have packed much less.
