The staff at Uma Sari are what make it! They are so friendly, and offer a great discount on trips to the Gilli Islands! The breakfast is really nice, and the rooms are lovely! Have recommended to everyone, and will certainly be back!

The staff are so helpful at Uma Sari, they made sure my boyfriend and I had a lovely stay! The beds are really comfortable and there is also a nice pool and beautiful gardens surrounding the rooms. The only downside would be the bathrooms are a bit dated but it didn't put me off staying here at all! The location... More

We were disappointed with our stay at Uma Sari. After staying at some cheaper home-stays in Ubud we wanted to treat ourselves to a bit more luxury and more expensive accommodation. Unfortunately we felt that the room was actually worse than the cheaper alternatives we had stayed in previously, certainly the bathroom was not up to standard, the toilet often... More

This place is a good price and is in the centre of Ubud. The fan room I chose (not sure if they air-con rooms for higher price) was nice but there is only one ceiling fan which is not that powerful. Also, they did not replenish the things I used in the bathroom. Room is a little tatty if you... More

Ubud is beautiful in general and this was a lovely little stay outside of the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to everything we needed. Walking distance from monkey forest and Ubud Palace it had a beautiful pool and lovely vibes. Nestled amongst some rice paddies, everything you needed was on your doorstep. Simple but great value for money.

We had a great stay here. The rooms are lovely and spacious with a traditional theme. The staff are excellent willing to help anytime. The free shuttle is also brilliant even though it is a very short walk to the main areas of ubud. One bad point is the noise but we were able to sleep contently through it. Even... More

Hotel is located on the relatively quite Bisma Jalan which is a good choice in busy Ubud. Hotel is older style with nice gardens and rooms all have a verandah or balcony. Spacious rooms although bathroom was a little tired but no problem. Breakfast included and overall good value for money. Nice breakfast and helpful staff.

Pros: The rooms are cheap, and seem decent value. You can also rent a cheap scooter. Cons: the first night (in the room above reception) I was woken up at 3am, 5am and 6am by cars, motorbikes and a cockerel. The walls are very thin so all of it is super loud, and the curtains are paper thin so after... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Uma Sari for 3 nights in the low season. After a bit of bargaining we got one of the luxury A/C rooms for a relatively low price, with breakfast included. The garden and swimming pool are lovely, as are the rooms. The personnel is friendly and helpful. You can rent a scooter for 50k... More

What a lovely cottage. Our room was cleaned every day and the air conditioning was perfect. Lovely bathroom with a hot shower and large bathtub. Our balcony was surrounded by lush scenery where I could read a book taken from the downstairs book collection while sitting in the edge of the balcony. Uma Sari is nested on a less busy... More

“We took a standard room whereas our friends took a superior room - the difference is more than just fan/ac, the superior rooms are much brighter with floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto a terrace, and have nice furniture. But standard is quite OK too.”
