I stayed at Nirwa in December and loved it so much that I returned to spend my last few days in Bali there. It is a lovely and peaceful little homestay with 6 rooms set amid the rice paddies of Ubud, which you can explore by walking out of the back door. It is also a short 5 or so...

A small, family run homestay set amongst the rice paddies. Made, Ayu and their son Alit are the perfect hosts, making you feel most welcome. Clean, comfortable rooms with views of rice paddies - a quiet retreat only a 2 minute bike ride from the main st of Ubud. Make sure you try the banana pancakes for breakfast!

There's no doubt that Bali trip with my friends is the most comfortable journey I've ever had. We were warmly welcomed by the uncle, his wife and their lovely son Alit. During our four days staying, their cherubic smiles and thoughtful service have left a deep impression on my mind. It was extremely relaxing when we sat in their beautiful...

At first I booked 2 days, but upon arrival I immediately booked 7 days! What a great place to stay! Rooms are beautiful, the inner garden is beautiful and the owners, Made and Ayu, are such friendly people. They made me feel at home rightaway! This homestay is just outside the busy main street and offers you a quiet place...

Sculpture-making, offering making, dancing, drawing and painting. This place is an awesome stay because of the warm hospitality they the family showed us! They provide daily breakfast, which includes...

My family of 6 enjoyed our stay when my children could 'go back to Nature' as city children. They saw spiders, ants, chickens, ducks, cows, Gecko, chameleon, rice field and breathed fresh air. The beds are clean and firm. A very pretty Homestay. Made, Ayu and and their son, Ajit are great hosts. We were quite sad to leave this...

Its right in the rice fields, away from the busy town. I didn't plan to stay at Nirwa in the first place. I couldn't sleep well at the other place due to the restless noise from roosters their neighbour had for rooster fighting, and I found a navigation sign to Nirwa so I moved there. I had room No.1 upstairs,...
