Gem of a homestay in Ubud, a particularly lovely lady who owns it who gave us a good deal as we were staying a long time and even gave us a free farewell breakfast! A bit noisy in the downstairs rooms because of dogs and a water fountain- but where in Ubud isn't a little noisy!! I would absolutely recommend...

Delicious breakfast! Quick to solve problems. The cutest little doggie (mini Pom)! Only a 4 because there was a few problems we experienced but they were resolved so quickly! As soon as you ask it gets done! They were very gracious hosts. We would be happy to return if ever we needed to!

Location wise, it is 5-10 minutes walk to the centre of Ubud, which is what i liked because you can have your peace and quiet yet...

I stayed at Jangkrik for about two weeks when I was in Ubud. The family made me feel very welcome and helped out with everything I needed. The rooms are clean and light, very simple, but also super comfortable. The breakfast they serve is perfect to start the day.

Stayed here for 4 nights in February, wasn't long enough! Three very happy 18 year old girls. The rooms are usually doubles but the family were happy to put in an extra bed for just £5 for the whole stay. Had a delicious and substantial breakfast in the beautiful sitting area every morning. Felt very at home and had enough...

“-Even without A/C, the room is very cooling at night and the fan is quite strong -It is less noisy upstairs, but staying at the first floor also have its benefits. You can interact more with the host and the dogs and cats when you stay at the first floor. -May have a few mosquitoes -Water pressure is slightly lower but heater is included -If you need an extra mattress, e.g. 3ppl staying in a 2-man room, you can rent a mattress from the homestay at about 100k rp. (Don't worry it is very clean).”
