I stayed here for 3 nights and I loved it. I was just what I needed at the right time. There are 2 traditional bungalows on stilts and another cottage style building. It was amazing to be in such a quiet location with the occasional sound of traditional music coming over the rice terraces. There were 2 young men (Wayan...

If you want authenticity, you got it here! Access only by bike or foot, it's a really quiet place, not so far from the city center. The bungalows are managed by the Kupu Kupu foundation that helps disabled persons to find a job, so they were the staff here, very friendly. And the manager (or not) was very helpful for...

We stayed here for two nights only, but we loved it! It is in the middel of the ricefield, yet it is close to the enter of Ubud. It's a great thing to stay here for a couple of nights of you're in Ubud for a longer time. Not only for the lovely place it self, but also because the...

That's right, you may need to request a motorbike to help you get here for the last kilometer and a half. Superb location, location location amongst the rice fields, with a nice and cheap warung (restaurant) out the back and a few other restaurants within walking distance. Some great walks to be had, and the profits go to the kupkufoundation....

What a surprise was this? We enjoyed this place so much! Begonia Lopez runs these bungalows very well. Good vibes around this place! We were picked up from the airport, even though it was in the middle of the night, and after arrival we slept right between the rice fields, in a traditional bungalow. The mattresses are not very good...

Kupu Kupu feels like it embodies what Ubud once felt like. Situated in the middle of rice terraces the only noises you'll hear are frogs and gently trickling water, unlike the constant roar of traffic heard in town. Incidentally, the center of town is only 15 minutes away and a lovely, quiet street with numerous excellent restaurants is only 5...

Besides you go out and see this beautiful rice paddies all around. It takes a 15 min walk to get there from Ubud Market...

I stayed here for about four days in May and had a very relaxed and comfortable stay. Its a very peaceful place: surrounded by rice paddies and not too far to walk into town. There are some good restaurants close by too. At night there are fireflies and in the morning or late afternoon you can buy a fresh coconut...

I stayed in the single roomed bungalow and found it very comfortable. I have sense told others about this best priced place to stay. It is in the middle of acres and acres of rice fields with amazing paths for walking and wondering around in which you can explore the hidden artists at work in thier somewhat hideouts. The Kupu...

I stayed in a traditional bungalow for 2 days and fell in love with it. It's in the middle of the rice field but just less than 10 mins walk to Ubud's center, so it really matched my need. I love how simply it is, without television, hot water (not necessary at all coz the weather is quite hot.), air...
