Private ashram located about 10 motorbike ride north of Ubud. Prayer, chanting, rituals and evening lectures/meditation was exactly what my mind and body needed. I had a truly wonderful experience. The sunrise prayer, noon prayer and evening prayers were mesmerizing. Food is basic. Cool pool was appreciated and clean. No AC but the fans did work. Join the guru for...

I've always wanted to try ashram so thought this would be a perfect place to start my Bali travels. I started off in the outdoors hut which is a lovely idea but in reality I was getting bitten every night and woken up by a gecko throughout the night that also lived in the hut. I moved to an indoors...

I stayed here for 5 life changing days. Life changing not in a bag bang and a splash kind of way, but more as a simple reminder of what it is that makes being a human so wonderful. The community feel is so life affirming. All the staff - Herny, Yuda, Ray and Eddie we just gorgeous. So kind and...

A great place for spiritual travellers with very positive energy. All you might need for self-reflection time. Vegetarian food is simple but very delicious. The home-grown passion fruit is the best in town. All the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful and always willing to provide with information about the areas. It has been really interesting to discuss culture, religion...

Nice place, with a great energy. It s a small ashram, that alowds you to spend the day out, enjoying the rice plantations and Ubud. Try to get one of the smalls bangaloos and rent a scooter to have more facilities for transport.

Got to meet one of the major thought leaders of Asia, Anandji at the Ashram. Simple, sweet, kind and generous. Learned tremendously as my intentions for my short time. They have many areas for peace, quiet, and reflection. Rent a bicycle so that you can explore the grounds an rice paddies outside the ashram as well- gorgeous. Wish I had...

I appreciated the availability of several guided daily meditation and yoga sessions and that participation depends on individual personal choice about involvement. No pressure. Well led As for the amenities, there is a shared refrigerator, hot tea available, and a small swimming pool with patio. There is a small restaurant, where one day prior notice serves modestly priced tasty Balinese...

I spent 5 nights at the Anand Ashram and very much enjoyed them. The mediation starts at 6, followed by a cleansing fire session and Yoga. Those are the sessions that I attended every morning and loved the routine and the fact that you had all day to explore Ubud afterwards. Plenty of time for tours etc.. I also participated...

I enjoyed my stay at Anand Ashram and meet lots of nice like minded people. I stayed in one of the front bush material huts and really enjoyed the outside bathroom. It would have been nice to have a rubbish bin and some seating. I asked if their was a chair for the deck and was told that most people...

The place is beautiful and set on a peaceful location 10min from ubud center with a motorbike. The hosts Herny and Yuda are the sweetest and most helpful people you will meet, and they really get...
