Alaya was a nice, reasonably priced hotel in the heart of Ubud. We secured a decent package through Agoda which included daily breakfast, afternoon tea and spa treatments every other day. We experienced a couple of issues with our room that unfortunately affected our overall experience at Alaya but the stuff were friendly and did their best to resolve the...

I stayed at the Alaya for 6 nights. The room was beautiful and clean, the bed was amazingly comfortable. Great location - can walk to the Monkey Forest, restaurants and Yoga Barn is just next door. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

We hadn't stayed in Ubud before so wanted to be close to the town centre but somewhere quiet and peaceful. Alaya was perfect. The restaurants are lovely as are the rooms but the most outstanding thing for us was the staff. They are beautiful...every single one...and they made our stay there special. We loved it and would certainly stay there...

I was so excited to come to this resort when my friend highly recommended it back in January. The day before my arrival, I received an email from the hotel stating that I can stay 2 out of the 3 nights I booked but the last night, I would have to go to their sister hotel which was a 13...

Wow, what a spectacular place. I fell in love the moment I walked in. The hotel is in the centre of town with many shops and restaurants nearby which was different to our other Hotels in Bali. The staff here is amazing! You are always greeted with a warm welcome by each and every member of their team. They are...

Background to staying here - wanted to stay in Ubud, but in town, nor in a "remote" part of it. The solution? Alaya Ubud! Perfectly situated in Ubud, not too far out, nor too close to the hustle and bustle of downtown Ubud. Pros: 1. Great, great location - can't emphasize enough on this. There's a hypermarket next to it...

We stayed for two nights - wish we would stay longer in the Deluxe Room which was at the back of the hotel. The room was very quiet and private despite the front of the hotel facing the street. Breakfast in the mid of rice paddy fields was the treat. All staffs were very attentive and friendly. We were absolutely...

Absolutely sensational! Enjoyed a 4 night stay here and I'm saddened to be leaving! The staff, the attention to detail was completely flawless. We dined most nights at the on site restaurant, Petani and it was simply stunning. Tried a few other local restaurants nearby and they just don't measure up. The staff are warm and so very hospitable, it...

If you want to have a change of scenery in Bali, stay in Ubud, and Alaya is the place. Great view to nice paddy fields, breakfast is good too. The room is excellent in terms of the space and decor, and it has a outdoor-like shower which is adding to the resort feeling. The hotel is near to monkey forest...
