Stayed here 4 nights in January with my wife and 2 children. I found the setting of this hotel absolutely stunning, its a vert big complex and also has the feel of a tropical village.

6 amazing pools which when we were here we had mostly to ourselves, plenty loungers and seating areas to relax in whilst listening to the tropical birds and the sound of many water features.

Our room was huge and spacious, located next to the sunshine pool, Air con was very good and a gigantic bed which we slept well in.
The bathroom was of a good standard with a bath one of the biggest i have seen.
house keeping was always carried out to an impeccable standard.

Breakfast was very good and plentiful, all the usual choices available as well as a egg station to cook you whatever style of egg you want. I miss my Mi goreng and fried eggs every morning!
good selection of juices available including super juices like fresh turmeric.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially on reception, they were always on hand to help us with our two children as well if we were coming in or going out.
I did find the staff on the poolside bar a little slow some days, I think a little bit further training would benefit them and the hotel in general.

In conclusion out of the 3 hotels we stayed in Bali this was our favourite and one we will not forget. I would love to return one day.

A gorgeous hotel with beautiful grounds, pools & fountains at every turn. My room (150) was first floor with an area of balcony looking out onto coconut palms and onr of the many pools - perfect. Yes its a little bit tired in places, could do with a lick of paint, but not surprising in this climate. La Palmiyra restaurant & pool area was idyllic. The staff were lovely, really helpful and friendly and the shuttle bus service was great, made popping into Ubud so simple. In town seek out the Campuhan Ridge Trail (hotel bus driver will drop you off at the start) a great walk with fabulous views and you can finish with a fresh coconut overlooking the terraces. Would love to go back.

A stay at The Mansion hotel is a magical experience! The grounds are stunning, with a multitude of pools to lounge by, lush greenery, traditional sculptures, and water features. What I loved about the multiple pools, is if one pool got a bit busy, I could go find another one that was quiet. I stayed in the Artha suite and it was BREATHTAKING! I highly recommend asking for that room, which includes its own private pool, and a large, soaking tub. It is also set away from other villas in a quiet part of the property, so if you were looking for a quiet and private space, that is definitely the room to book. The air conditioning inside my actual room worked perfectly, I was always comfortable. The staff has been incredibly accommodating and kind, friendly faces everywhere I look, and anything I have needed has been provided. As a solo woman traveler, it was very important to me to arrive somewhere in Bali where I felt safe and taken care of, and The Mansion provided all that and more. Five stars, highly recommend!

The Mansion in really made my trip to Ubud something special. It was so nice to stay somewhere local that really felt authentic to it's location and history, I didn't stay at any hotel quite like it anywhere else in Bali. The settings are stunning (it even has 6 pools!) with lots of areas to lunge and hang out. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff was super friendly and helpful going above and beyond to help us with our (sometimes complicated!) tour requests. The Mansion is also nicely situated just outside of the main drag, so it's nice and quiet but still close enough to all the action when you want to go out. I cannot recommend The Mansion enough! If you have the opportunity, definitely stay there.

This is an amazing property! I felt like we were in a movie. When we arrived staff came out to greet us and banged a gong. Flowers were on steps and the air smelled sweet. When we went to the desk, we were offered little juice drinks. Our room was old but traditional and well kept. Things were clean. Grounds are large, certain areas kept better than others had pools almost to our self because we were not in tourist season lots of variety of rooms. We paid $60 per night. We had an uncomfortable Airbnb experience and we were thrilled to be here. It was a long walk through Grounds are large, certain areas kept better than others had pools almost to our self because we were not in tourist season lots of variety of rooms. We paid $60 per night. We had a uncomfortable Airbnb experience and we were thrilled to be here. It was a long walk through the grounds to the restaurant. We were thrilled because we are vegetarian, and there was more than enough for us to choose from. The breakfast buffet was lovely for our tastes. I celebrated my birthday here and the staff was right on it, they learned from my passport when we checked in that it was my birthday and brought me a little cake and the entire staff was singing. They have some conferences going on from time to time, but we are not in tourist season and we enjoyed the calm, quiet. We saw quite a few wild birds in the trees around here and my birder husband was thrilled. There were a few hiccups, two dead cockroaches in our room, but none alive. We had a wonderful tub to soak in, a large shower and plenty of storage space. We found the staff to be very accommodating. I felt like we were in an old British movie, we will be bringing a group back from the US and staying here. You can order a massage or go to the one, just down the street, at the bottom of the hill to the right when you walk out the gate. They offer a shuttle to Ubud twice per day. They will help you with the vacation tours. We enjoyed every minute.

The Mansion is very impressive because its a very big hotel with 6 differents swimming pools. The place is beatiful and relaxing. The room is very big too but the only problem is that a little old, so you can’t find a lot of power plugs and they are not near the bed.

Really liked this resort because our company meeting with over 250 pax went successful. The ballroom is very large and beautiful, with a ceiling containing paintings about the history of the goddesses of the archipelago. Meals and services during the event are also excellent. The garden and pool facilities are superb, really feel the experience of business meeting and staying in Ubud.

I loved my stay at this beautiful place.
It's so full of art that it has its own museum.
The grounds are vast, luscious, and quiet. There are (at least) 3 pools, so you can have a private or social swim depending on your mood. I believe they also have day-pool passes.
It is unique in its style - everything has an eclectic artist's touch to it.

I stayed at the mansion 4 years ago and it was an amazing but it is no longer the amazing place I once stayed at.
The place has no love whatsoever and is now a very poor representation of a Balinese place to stay.
The photos are all all old images as the place is now very run down neglected and very badly managed .
The staff gather by reception or all in one place so there is never staff to be seen around the hotel.
The food is terrible.
Very sad that such a beautiful hotel can be allowed to get in such a poor state.
We booked two nights via Facebook message once we checked in we realised we didn’t want to stay gave our reasons and they refused to give us a refund.

Hi Ms Rebecca, We regret to read your review of your recent stay with us. We had offered you an upgrade and a spa treatment to entice you to stay, and you did. However, we are saddened to read your views on our place. We are constantly evolving, and have made many updates and changes. Unfortunately not to your liking. We have nearly 100 staff working, and they work all over the resort. I'm not sure why you didn't see any staff... Should your travels bring you back this way, we would like to be given the opportunity to make your stay as amazing as the first time. Thanks and best wishes to you.

Firstly a mention of all the staff. Everyone was a star, smiling at all times and the most generous of hosts. We cannot thank them enough in helping make our stay successful.

The hotel: A very large complex with pools and 155 rooms scattered about unique styled grounds. Rooms are large and reasonably well equipped. There was a problem with wifi on the site so some loss of contact to family and friends.

We were there for the New Year and they put on a great programme to get us into 2024.
Dining options are limited with 1 restaurant although the food quality was very good.

Sadly the hotel was only about 20% occupied so it was a very quiet place with daytime visitors undertaking a lot of Pilate sessions.

The complex including rooms are all a little dated and tired looking and would benefit from modernisation and a bit more improvement.
All that said, we had an enjoyable time at the hotel and we could not fault the service so go and have a good time

I think so but I don’t know the cost, we had B&B. The restaurants in the hotel were not the best tbh, and so many great places to eat just a short distance away by the hotel shuttle.
