Villa Sonia is a very special place that I hope to return to again and again. The resort is small and beautifully designed and provides a perfect sanctuary to rest and relax. The pools and gardens are stunning. The resort is located on a fairly quiet road, with a number of bars and cafes in walking distance. It is walking distance...

Villa Sonia's staff need to be highlighted; excellent friendly atmosphere, quick to help and assist with many requests. Another major highlight is that you can rent the scooter at the hotel for 65 rupiah/full day which is highly recommended for ubud area. This place is a breath of fresh air, quiet and in a beautiful setting. Let's talk food for...

We stayed at Villa Sonia for nearly 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year and loved it. The grounds of the small hotel complex are secluded and very pretty with two very nice pools within the beautiful gardens. The hotel is in a very quiet part of Ubud but within easy walking distance of the town centre if you take...

We stayed at Villa Sonia for 9 days and it was great! We were upgraded as they were adding new villas and didn't want us effected by the noise. Room was perfect, comfy bed, so private with an area on balcony where we had breakfast, outdoor shower was special! Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Pool area lovely...

Villa Sonia doesnt look like any hotel I have been before. The reception is quite modest but just after a great view: pool surrounded by tropical plants. Imhad the impression of entering an old sanctuary village. Each "room" has his own gate. Our room was more a suite. It was very clean, very spacious, well furnished, typical balinese style. The...

Stayed for 4 nights in a suite. Location of the hotel was pretty good, near central Ubud with the monkey forest in between. There is a narrow shortcut to Ubud center going beside the monkey forest, unfortunately there was some roadwork there during our stay so we weren't able to use it (only used it once and had to jump...

We are currently "stranded" in Bali due to the Volcano. Could not have chosen a more ideal place to be waylaid. It is a relatively small property but our room is spacious with a balcony half the size of the room. Beautiful pool, gardens and staff so accomodating. It is 5 minute walk from the top monkey forest entrance. You...

We only stayed one night but great experience. Nice staff, nice welcoming and really fair breakfast. It worth it for the price and the view + swimming pool are brilliant. Took a pedicure directly in a room for a really affordable price. Will not spend all my holidays there but I will certainly recommend the place for short staying. Really...

Villa Sonia exceeded our expectations as it certainly wasn't that highly priced compared to other places. The Villas are really well appointed and the property is very beautiful. The rooms are really tastefully presented & our garden room had a lovely balcony, a gorgeous outdoor shower & a really nice view of a fish pond & fountain from our big,...

I was glad to choose the sonia villa as my stay at the Ubud. As the low price, I did not expect the room can be that nice. It was really spacious, wisely designed with proper privacy with very attentive staff. And to have breakfast at our balcony is a great begin of the day. Meanwhile, the internet is not...
