Wow. We arrived in Bali and headed straight here. Late check in, but plenty of staff on hand when we arrived, welcom drink etc. The staff generally were flawless, waited on hand and foot from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. They have free afternoon tea which was nice. Also whilst by the pool someone provided us...

Junjungan was a great find by my wife from among the myriad options in Ubud. Tucked away from the main town area, it offers nice views of terraced rice fields. The rooms are big (though a bit dark) and the food is great. Free pick up and drops into town help. So also the free coffee and banana fritters in...

We had a lovely 3 nights at Junjungan hotel. Our room was large with a great view over the rice paddies. Breakfast, and in fact all food, was very good, they even provided a breakfast for our 19 month old son. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to help at all times. It is out of...

Junjungan hotel & spa in Ubud is located a few minutes north of Ubud town, easily reached by free shuttle transport. The restaurant offers free tea and delicious baked stuff between 15:00 and 18:00. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They booked a cycling trek for us and a driver to take us to our next destination. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to the main market area of Ubud. Keen to visit the market we took the 10-15 minute ride but after a...

We arrived in Junjungan in the earliest hours of a Friday morning, descending on the tiny village straight long before the earliest check in time and straight from another hotel in the Ubud area where our reservation for the previous night had been double booked. Tired, disorientated and disappointed we made our way to the Junjungan Hotel and Spa as...

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. We came in late to Ubud, and after dealing with traffic from the airport, I just wanted to get in to bed. We were warmly greeted by reception, provided a menu to order our breakfast for the next morning, given a tour of the room, and then a welcome drink. What...

My wife and two teenage children recently spent two nights at the Junjungan Hotel and Spa and couldn't have been happier with our choice of accommodation. Nothing is to much trouble for Siwi and her staff at this execllent establishment. My wife and I enjoyed the larger Deluxe Studio room and my teenage children the Deluxe Sawah room which both...

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in July - what a beautiful place! Both of us couldn't have been happier. It's clean, quiet, and good value for the money. Rooms are beautifully decorated but comfortable, and the restaurant had great food. But what really sets this place apart is the service - it really is impeccable. The staff...

If you're looking for a place to stay near Ubud, stop looking and book the Junjungan. We had a five-star experience for a fraction of the price. Our stay was in January 2012 and I just joined Trip Advisor but felt compelled to write a review now (Sept 2013) because the hotel was that memorable. Delightful staff, incredible daily teas...
