We booked the deluxe room for 3 nights, which is the only room located at the bottom of this amazing hotel. I can't say enough good stuff about our time here, it was hands down our favorite hotel during our time in Indonesia. The ambiance is unparalleled; waking up in the morning to rain coming down, opening the large windows...

We were a group of 12 and wanted to stay in Ubud and all of our group stayed at Ketut's Place. 3 rooms were on the main level -- rooms 3, 4 and 7. The other 6 people shared deluxe rooms located in the ravine overlooking the foliage and creek below. Our rooms were comfortable, with mosquito netting around the...

It was Eat Love Pray that inspired me to travel so when I remarried it was Bali that would be the most profound destination for our honeymoon. On my ride from the airport, I mention the desire to see a Balinese healer. I was surprised beyond words when the driver pulls up the home of Ketut Liyer.....the same character from...

Stayed 3 nights, about an 8 minute easy walk into 'town'. The room was basic but had everything you needed, ceiling fan, clean room and clean bathroom. Wi-Fi was great when working but at times very intermittent, but really was not an issue at all. Pool area was very nice, grounds were quiet spectacular and certainly felt peaceful. Staff were...

I stayed at Ketut's place for four nights in November - it's very simplistic accommodation, but I absolutely loved my stay. The staff are very warm and welcoming and the grounds of the property are absolutely stunning. It's close enough to the hustle and bustle of Ubud but far enough that you can enjoy some quiet in the evening. Ketut...

I had such a lovely stay here in November 2015. It was the first time I had travelled alone and I felt the family who run it kept an eye out for me! The surroundings are so gorgeous and well maintained- creates a peaceful environment. I had a fan room which was fairly basic but clean and had the best...

This hotel is incredibly beautiful, no doubt about it. The rooms are spacious, the pool is beautiful, the family temple is right there. I've never taken so many photos of my hotel before. The hotel is about an 8 minute walk from the palace. Not close, but not far. The breakfast could be bigger, but is fine. To sum up,...

We stayed at Ketut's Place for a week at the beginning of October. This was the first time we stayed at this bed & breakfast. We arrived in the middle of the night and Ketut unlocked the gates and ushered us to our rooms (Deluxe with aircon). I have read some reviews where some people complained about the 30 something...

Very close to main shopping area, about 8 min walk down small street with great local restaurants. Whole family at Ketuts are wonderful, so friendly and kind, you feel like your at home. Beautiful gardens and exceptional clean, great attention to detail. Pool is at back of hotel, overlooking jungle and river. Very beautiful and quiet. Breakfast was very simple,...
