Beautiful quiet place near the center of Ubud, tastefully furnished family hotel is balm for your eyes (outdoor bathroom is just amazing !), as well as exceptionally tasty and rich breakfast. The owners are so nice and will help you with everything to make your holiday fabulous ;-)

We had booked reservations elsewhere and when they were not up to par, we happened upon this gem of a boutique hotel in Penastanan. The owners were both very up front with the rates and the availability of the rooms (note - get one of the ground floor rooms, the outdoor shower/bathroom area is to die for!) The breakfast options...

I've just spent the last four nights at Taman Rahasia as a solo traveller. My experience thanks to Michel and Made was truly amazing. Nothing was too much effort. Huge rooms, beautiful outdoor shower, clean, lovely pool and garden. The location is tucked away in a small village about 20mins walk from Ubud. Lots of cool cafes/restaurants nearby so you...

Taman Rahasia was an excellent choice for our 12 day stay in Bali and exceeded expectations. The rooms were spacious; AC was so good we did not put it on the lowest setting, there's a fridge in the room, and the outdoor bathroom is very nice with hot water available (we did not use it). It is not right on...

Even after all the changes that have taken place since I was last here in 2012, Taman Rahasia is still a wonderful corner to hide away and relax: a tiny gem in the centre of the village away from the noise and madness of Ubud. If you are wanting to attend the literary festival you couldn't find a more perfect...

We stayed there for three nights and I can only recommend this place. The owner Michel is such a nice guy and helps you out with all you need. The staff members also follow the kind approach and are wonderful. The rooms are really beautiful and the breakfast was very good. The hotel also is in a part of Ubud...

Spent time staying at this hotel with friends. Owners Michel and Made are awesome and super friendly. They go out of their way to help guests have a wonderful time at their Secret Garden Hotel. Their breakfast is the best of any hotel I've stayed at in Bali by a long shot. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The Spa...

Amazing place for relax in the jungle! The owners are very friendly ready to help you for anything! The rooms are very big and balinese style!!! Definitely I can suggest this place! The only "negative" thing is the breakfast where it will be good have more choice. However is an amazing place for relax, visit Ubud and enjoy the sounds...

There seem to be accommodations aplenty in Ubud, with something for every budget. For first-timers, it can be a bit perplexing knowing where to begin. Looking at a map of the city, the greatest concentration of shops and restaurants catering to tourists are along and near Monkey Forest Road. While these locations offer some conveniences to the budget traveler, staying...

I was here 10 or so years ago and had great memories of the accommodation and the spacious 'secret' garden. Coming back it was a bit of a shock to see the garden had been cut in two and sold on and a very high wall put in, which means it's now a smaller if still secluded and restful space....
