Kayon means tree of life creations and secret that grows from earth towards heaven. Located only ten minutes drive from Ubud center, this enchanting five star boutique resort is designed in complete harmony with nature. Decorated with Ramayana story relief on stone wall creates a romantic ambience. Due to our resort is located on the cliff and with a lot of stairs, the Children below 15 years old, senior citizen/people who are having mobility issues, drone, durian are not permitted at The Kayon Resort Ubud because could be very harmful for them, beside our concept is set for Adult Only, Honeymooner, Romance, and Relaxation.

Restaurant service is excellent. My family love to stay here. The staff are nice and helpful. The pool is very big. No need to wait long time for room service. The room is big and the facility are complete.

The Perfect Elopement package for my wife and I. Angie coordinated everything and it was the most incredible couple of days. The 6 course meal was fantastic along with the acoustic guitarist. The villa was clean and in spectacular settings.

As soon as our taxi pulled into the hotel, the staff was right there to open our doors and unload our luggage. We were then welcomed with a blessing and drink. We checked in while our luggage was carried to our room. I reserved a villa with a private pool (Rama Shinta 2)--worth the extra bit of money. Our villa was perfectly situated so we had views of the jungle and a small waterfall below. The breakfast is amazing-the breakfast burrito and bread bowl were my favorite. We attended the Balinese dancing/buffet on Tuesday night, which was fun to watch. I booked a private 1/2 day tour, and our driver, Wayan, was very knowledgeable about all things Ubud--best tour we have ever taken! He took us to some waterfalls, Elephant Cave (Goa Gajah), Dewan Malan wood carving center, and Umah Bali Kuno (traditional Bali house/coffee/tea/cocoa plantation). Wayan was able to answer all of our questions and came prepared with sarongs for the temple, towels for the waterfalls, and water for us. We joined the morning hike one morning and yoga a different morning. The yoga is for both men and women who are at a beginner level, and the hike took us on a 50-minute adventure through the rice fields and a bit of town. The staff were all extremely polite, respectful, and friendly; they made us feel at home. The resort was not crowded at all and we were able to eat at the restaurant and the Jetty any time we wanted. One reason I booked this resort was because of its small size and romantic atmosphere. We loved every bit of this resort and our experience there, and I could go on and on praising The Kayon and the staff. The Kayon will be my #1 recommendation to anyone who will visit Bali.…

Everything and everyone was great. Staff were friendly and attentive but not pushy. Room was wonderful, bath was big, bed was comfy. Pool area was lovely. Breakfast, included in the price was paid, was excellent.

This is our third stay at The Kayon, and won’t be the last. The staff are incredible. Kind and courteous and always making the enjoyment of the guests a priority. The inclusions of morning yoga, complimentary Balinese high tea each day and fantastic breakfast with many choices. The spa is beautiful, all this and great value for money.

This place is magical! A jungle paradise. All you can hear are the birds, the waterfall and the background indonesian soothing music. You forget the whole world once you get here. We came for our honeymoon and loved it

This place is for couples. I came by myself and was feeling out of place. Initially I got a room on the low floor and it felt dark and humid there. Once it got dark, it was pretty freaky. If you were with a partner it might be romantic. So I asked the front desk if I could change room. The staff were great! They accommodated my needs and helped me switch room quickly. Saiya was helpful. Pande then drove me to downtown Ubud and recommended really cool Indonesia food for me. Talking to Pande made me feel much more comfortable at this place. I recommend going as a couple but not for solo travellers.
