Located in the Daarut Tuhid Madrasa area, this low-key cottage is a good base to explore the madrasa. Not noisy since it is not located on the main road, but still close enough to Daarut Tauhid mosque. Jalan Setiabudi and UPI campus are only half a kilometer away. This cottage was excellent.. 18 years ago, when I stayed here as a kid. But now it seems like all of the facilities have been worn-out. Desperately need refurbishing. Spacious rooms. No AC in some of them, only fan. Not a big problem though since the temperature here is cool enough. Friendly and helpful staff.
An Islamic friendly environment to cater your needs when decide to stay in Bandung specific Geger Kalong neighbourhood the surround completed with great mosque, commercial block and nice Sundanese meals well if course a best place to book your front seat for morning sermon by the popular preacher Aa Gym
I booked a Deluxe room. The facilities are quite completed. There are water gallon, AC, TV, desk, and Queen size bed. In front of my room, there is a balcony and two chairs. The garden is quite clean and there are a swing and slide for children. The room is enough for small family, quite clean for the room and the bathroom but because the building from the woods so at several areas there still a wood powder at several areas. Need to improve the cleanness. The hospitality from the staff is good and the price is affordable.
The property has less number of cottage but the garden opposite the cottage was very nice and also the room seems like huge than any cottage I have experienced as well. The service also good, their concept as a 'Syariah' cottage make this cottage more better than any cottage in Bandung.
This place is located in a gated compound, surrounding with a small supermarket, a lot of eating place & small store that selling almost everything from books to souvenirs and all. I guess it is near student / college area, that's why it they have almost everything nearby. My family and I stay here for 4 nights. Actually we are looking for a place that can accommodate us for 5 nights but it happen that on our first night, the cottage was fully booked. It was very nice of them to help us to look for a place (home stay) nearby - located in the same gated area; 2 minutes walking from their place. It is actually that this cottage is also working together with a few (maybe more) guest houses / home stay operators, so even if they are fully booked, they are able to help us find another nearby accommodation. There are 2 storey for each house, the lower level come with a verandah, while the upper is not, but the upper level is slightly bigger the the lower level. All of us are staying in standard rooms. Standard room are not provided with air-conditioner or mini fridge, but if for any reason you really-really need this 2 items, you can ask to stay in deluxe rooms. All 3 rooms can fit at least 2 persons so we take 3 rooms with 2 extra beds since we are travelling in a group of 8. You can check the room rates in their website. All rooms are c/w en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was provided and will be sent to your room. Wifi are quite fast if you use it outside your rooms. Only 1 user are allowed for each room I guess. Their staff is very-very hospitable I should say. On the second day, we are supposed to check-in into Daarul Jannah after 2pm, but since some of us (including myself) are not feeling well, we really need to check-in earlier but the rooms is not yet ready, they try their best to clean-up the rooms fast so that we can check-in earlier. On the third day, we have to go out a bit early. Usually, the breakfast will be ready at 7.30 am++.The moment the reception staff found out that we are going out before the breakfast was served, he literally run to the cafe and asked the cafe staff to prepare our breakfast immediately. This place is a bit far from the Bandung town and commonly visited shopping area except Cihampelas Street, but if you are driving your own car, I guess it is not a big issue. I don't know about public transportation around here because I don't use any during this visit. Besides room rental, this gated area also providing team building activities for high-school students I guess, so expect those kind activities around this area each morning. It is a very nice & cozy place.I love it, so is my mother & sisters. I have to warn you that the houses are made fully by woods, so you literally can hear almost everything that happen in the next / upper / lower rooms. That's mean the guest that occupied rooms next you also can hear almost everything that happen in your room :). So, just be moderate while you are talking / laughing or doing anything.…
