I stayed in Andong 4 for 2 nights. For this 2 days, everything in Mesa Stila was totally sweet and perfect. I could be relaxed from my heart. Room: All rooms are isolated Javanese house. Where we stay in was ground floor and there is one room on above of our room, but we could not hear any sounds from above, we did not know there was another guests or not. I mean, even cheaper room can give you very private time. Room size is enough for 2 people. There is very cute bathtub with coffee candle and terrace with Mt. Andong view. All amenities you need are prepared. Service and Staff: Excellent. They always serve in Javanese way. They have some special free program for guests everyday, such as Coffee plantation tour, some classes for understanding Jawa tradition. Afternoon tea…

stayed here for 3 night. service was perfect, very service-minded staff and attentive as well. the place is 1 hour away from borobudur, and 2 hours away from prambanan. a good place to re-charge yourself from the city life. its a good big complex where you can dilute your thoughts and enjoy nature at the same time.

Mesastila is great! We loved the history and amazing collection of old buildings. Our villa was very tastefully decorated - great sunken bath with volcano view. The restaurant serves very tasty food and the pool is simply stunning. Make sure you visit the stunning spa - the Arabian Nights was one of the treatments I have ever had! No surprise that it won a number of awards.

My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights for our a quick getaway in early May 2014. Not only that we enjoyed the spectacular mountain view from every angle of the property, the clean air, but also we were amazed on how well maintained the building and landscape are and how the whole MesaStila team served us with their hearts and smiles. The architecture and interior of Club Lounge is the most beautiful and indeed the masterpiece of the whole property, a true heritage from Colonial era. Other buildings like the Reception is taken from real old post office while some Villas are collected from real ethnic houses. We joined some of the complimentary activities, including the Power Walk, Yoga and Losari Coffee Plantation Tour. We also enjoyed the daily spa treatments. We are…

What a great place, so Picturesque. We had a great time over 4 days. It is the place to go if you want some peace and quiet. If you are looking for a lively spot, don't go. The Spa is really good, I went for the 'Arabian Nights' option. The style is a wonderful mix of Javanese and Dutch and has a feeling like you are living in a different era. Very friendly and attentive Staff make it a very pleasant place to be. Thanks Mesa Stila!

We've stayed at Andong 2 - huge room with heritage javanese features .. View from terrace was breathtaking. Several activities during the day are organized by the hotel staff .. Yoga class is highly recommended!!! Also, The ibu jamu herbal mixes are a must try during breakfast too!! I have been there to relax from a tough week and it was really amazing. I arrived early to do the coffee plantation tour, worth it! Its a nice touch to see their mushrooms in the mushroom rooms and than actually taste it later in the restaurant. The coffee of course very nice and strong. Great place to relax and shut down

A first time my trip for having Ultra Trail Running Race in Central Java (Indonesia). The race was hosted, arranged and served by Mesastila Management Resort. Comparing to other running races that I had, as TNF Singapore, SCSMS, PBIM, 2XU, Jakarta Marathon, Tahura etc, Mesastila was the best, the served us very well, liked I am the king of the royal emperor. The villa room looked like a room in buckingham place, the queen room, but I surprised when I knew the rent cost for it, it's adorable for me, economic, not too expensive (compared to other villa/hotel/resort that I ever had during the race). It's recommend to others to spent the time for having nights or holiday here, and having sport exercise as well as ultra trail running.

My partner and I came on a last minute break. We had a comfortable 2 hour car ride (replete with scented towels and snacks), and given a free upgrade to the Arum Villa. The room was huge with heritage Javanese features and an expansive terrace looking over lush greenery and mist covered mountains in the distance. The food was exceptional - modern Indonesian with healthy options and the spa a little slice of heaven. We also had two well organized excursions - one a short hike up a dormant volcano in the morning and a dawn tour of Borobudur which is a magical experience in itself. Very quiet (we were only one of 3 couples there) so it felt mostly like we were the only ones there, which was exactly what we were looking for. This is set on an expansive coffee plantation with…
